Marion Barry, the gift that keeps on giving, refers to Pollacks during his umpteenth apology for referring to Asian's "dirty shops."
The AP notices that the Obama campaign is lying about Romney moving the goal posts. Okay, so "lying" is probably too strong a term; Ben LaBolt isn't smart enough to realize his error.

The Justice Department promised Thursday to be “flexible” in enforcing new rules ordering public pools to pay for lifts or ramps for the disabled — backing away from what some pool operators had said was an invitation to a flood of lawsuits against small businesses.
Check’s in the mail…yadda yadda yadda. I’m sure this “flexibility” will end as soon as the election is over, if the idiots are still in charge. Abolish the ADA so that these stupid regulations by executive fiat do not crop up when the communists are in power.

Deputies responded to a call that a man had broken into a Solo convenience store near Carolina Motorsports Track on U.S. 521 about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday A homeowner near the store heard an alarm and called 911. When deputies got there, they began purusing a car at the business. The driver, later identified as Jimmy Lee Parson, pushed his carÂ’s speedometer over 100 miles per hour and rammed at least two Kershaw County patrol cars in an attempt to escaped.
Once deputies stopped the car, Parson, of Columbia, resisted arrest and was stunned by deputies. The 44-year-old wasnÂ’t injured, and was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, failure to stop for blue lights, aggravated assault, driving under the influence, two counts of malicious injury to real property, and five counts of second-degree burglary. No one was injured in the chase.

In 1946, the engineer Dr. Percy LeBaron Spencer, who worked for the Raytheon Corporation, was working on magnetrons. One day at work, he had a candy bar in his pocket, and found that it had melted. He realized that the microwaves he was working with had caused it to melt. After experimenting, he realized that microwaves would cook foods quickly - even faster than conventional ovens that cook with heat.
The Raytheon Corporation produced the first commercial microwave oven in 1954; it was called the 1161 Radarange. It was large, expensive, and had a power of 1600 watts. The first domestic microwave oven was produced in 1967 by Amana (a division of Raytheon).

So Maruse had to find a way to defy the opposition. He found it in what he termed "repressive tolerance." In 1965, Marcuse wrote an essay by that name in which he argued that tolerance was good only if nondominating ideas were allowed to flourish--and that nondominating ideas could flourish only if dominating ideas were shut down. SotomayorÂ’s dissent said the ruling weakens the foundersÂ’ concerns about allowing the state to bring repeated charges against those it disfavors.
Does this mean when people are acquitted of charges as in the Rodney King case the justice department can no longer pursue hate crimes and civil rights charges for the same act?
Now that truly is double jeopardy but I'll bet a case of beer and a shitty peanut to you that you will never make that kind of a ruling.

"NASA since its inception - $851 billion"
A business partner from Moscow came in last week with his 23 year old son for a meeting in Houston. We had an extra day, so I took them to NASA for a tour.
All in all, it’s pretty sad. The visitor center is cheesy at best, the hour and a half trolley tour was less than inspiring and the only thing that had some awe factor was the Saturn 5 rocket on display. The whole time there I kept thinking about the line in “Armageddon” when Bruce Willis said “This is NASA, for christsake”.

The attacks against Frey and family wrap "hate crimes" within domestic terrorism.
That the FBI hasn't/can't solve it? Simply taking stock of another violent fraud against a citizen instigated by a terrorist but achieved by the strong arm of governance. That the federal officials refuse to produce thorough Patriot Act surveillance on Kimberlin & Co. illustrates again that these "well intended" legislated over reaches of executive powers are NOT protecting the law abiding citizenry, but protecting the organized crime within government in the name of national security.
Given the hateful domestic terrorist trend towards SWATting, you'd think there'd be a unified public outcry. This goes well beyond the crimes committed by SWAT teams by accident due to "clerical" error, assaulting the wrong address and killing the inhabitants trying to awaken from sleep in the dead of night. Who all bitched and moaned about those abuses so swiftly swept under the rug, rationalizing that everyone (except the innocent victims) "deserves" a mulligan. No.
Given the misuses of SWAT, you'd think that protocol would exert THOROUGH CLERICAL CLEARING of an address to identify the inhabitants prior to arrival. Legislators and bleeding heart activists scream for safety locks on firearms; SWAT needs a safety lock clearance before automatic attack. But you see, that would inhibit the grotesque opportunism to abuse such a strike force. And given so few victims, whether the Marine killed in Tucson or Patterico, the irony is that terrorists continue as ever, using the means created by fearful and outraged Americans (box cutters were legally allowed when 9/11 occurred, and the safety protocol of pilots was to comply with hijackers, as if TSA is the logical solution). Terrorists remain at large without being detained and prosecuted for acts of terrorism. And the government's performance , whether local or federal, ends up attacking innocent Americans in the line of duty.
As if Mitt will take an effective stand against Kimberlin, or the TSA.

"The Apollo Project - $237 billion
NASA since its inception - $851 billion"
"All in all, itÂ’s pretty sad."
No joke.
The Apollos were great [at least right up until about the Ron Howard flick mission].
Skylab - total waste of money.
The Voyagers - teh awesome.
So from $851b, let's subtract the $237b for the Apollos, and some spare change for the Voyagers & Skylab, and get about $600b since, say, 1980.
Holy Cow - what did we get for our money since then?
Pretty pictures from the Hubble.
Circumnavigation of Jupiter & Saturn [more pretty pictures].
Confirmation that Mars is just a bunch of rocks & dust.
Seems like we coulda done that on a heckuva lot less than $600b.
I get the feeling that NASA has become yet another pension-generating scheme for anti-Western anti-Civilizational career nihilists like James Hansen.
What a terrible tragedy.
Raise your hand if you wanted to be an astronaut when you were a kid.
Or maybe I should say: Raise your hand if you wanted to be an astronaut when you were a kid, but you were also sufficiently precocious & prescient to realize that by the time you grew up, the Left would have turned NASA into just another anti-American bureaucratic sewer.

Bill Text
112th Congress (2011-2012)
H.CON.RES.107.IH
"Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution."
The buck stops on the Oval Office desk.
Call your Congressman to support HR 107 before they break.
Rep.Jones said that aside from holding the POTUS accountable, this House Bill 107 is meant to hold CONGRESS accountable, that they ALL have sworn to uphold and abide by the US Constitution, and that Congress must perform its constitutional duty.
Of course Congressmen won't lift a finger unless they are thrown into the fray by constituents.
Ace wrote the other day of waiting to hear a speech on the floor of Congress before determining for ourselves if the Constitution matters, to determine by popular vote whether American citizens have free speech or not. Damn, that's like Mitt deferring to his absent lawyers before saying what the Constitution means when asked in debate, then deferring to "the constitutional candidate" as Mitt said.
Call our Congressmen. Speak out for the House Bill 107 already sponsored and awaiting Lamar Smith's committee clearance for a House vote.
When Congress and the POTUS hear the rising chorus from taxpaying voters to function constitutionally or go home in shame, they will be more receptive towards the legitimate concerns against SWATting, to hold government responsible for its own actions and mistakes rather than sweeping injustice under their corrupted rug.

You can enter through a back gate without steps but to do that would require a long slog from the parking lot through some paths through another lot, etc. The state, I guess, required them to buy a lift. It sits there. The lifeguards play with it sometimes on rainy days.

Just as Kissinger/Nixon's bff treaty with Red China was disturbing, when NASA joined with the USSR to build the space station, that gave great pause. Obama's order effectively handing NASA to the Muslim Nations proved just how far politics can corrupt the liberty to pursue happiness especially in science, no matter how far you go to get away from it all (space, the last frontier).

As a matter of fact, the visitor center did have some climate change themed thing in it, however I didn’t go in. The worst part of the tour was Mission Control, which I’m sure was impressive in the late ‘60s, but certainly looks out of place today. That stop also included a 20 minute lecture by a smug liberal who was certain he was 50 times smarter than anyone taking the tour explaining that if everyone was as smart, NASA would have much more funding.

This is second hand, so take if for what it's worth: An uncle of mine knows a guy who worked cleaning up the locker room used by the LA SWAT team. His job sucked whenever they came back from a raid and DIDN'T get to kill anyone. They'd be enraged, and trash the place. Only when they got to spill blood did they feel like they'd had a good day.

Vic - those links to the articles re the Muz bomber and the flash mobs truly make the blood boil. But they should be avoided. They just raise the blood pressure to no good purpose.
I say this because my fellow conservatives have made it clear to me that doing anything to actually SOLVE the problem is bad, and mean, and nasty, and we shouldn't even think about it. The muslims and criminals and sundry trash have RIGHTS, you know. If a bunch of regular folk have to be blown up, robbed, beaten to death, etc, that's just the price we have to pay for the joy of niceness. Rounding up the scum and getting rid of them is just too icky to contemplate. Except, of course, when they're far away overseas and our military can do it without us having to see it. Though even there we tie our mens' hands so they don't hurt too many of our enemies. I'm told this is the American way.
And truly, that is why we're F-ed. Because many/most on our side are too squeamish to accept the hard things that must be done to fix the situation. Every day things get further out of control, requiring ever more radical responses to stem the tide, yet nothing is done. So, best to just concentrate on milking the current system for all its worth, and looking out for ones self and ones own loved ones.

What did they think of the tour trolley? It looks like they picked them up second hand from some carnival. I ruined a pair of pants on the 80 grit seat sandpaper. Like I said, “This is NASA, for christsake”. Where is the streamlined monorail? A girl in the seat just ahead got a nose bleed. No paramedics swooped in with jetpacks to spray space foam up her nostrils, just the old overweight driver fumbling through a picked-clean first aid kit for gauze that wasn’t there.
And putting all the tour employees in those ridiculous jump suits. Some people (and they all seem to work at NASA) donÂ’t belong in one-piece outfits.
Oh, I almost forgotÂ… YouÂ’ve got to go through a metal detector to get on to the tour trolley. I shit you not.

I used to get in these running "letter to the editor" battles in a local rag when I lived on Cape Cod. As you can imagine, that's where all the beautiful people from Hah-vud decamp to in the summer. At one point this guy was touting his 20 year work work with the IMF on the economies of African nations as proof of his expertise. As if he were just full of all kinds of awesome that no rational person could question the truth of his intellect. (He actually used the phrase "rational person.")
The next week my (very) short letter appeared. It said, "If he's such an expert then why are the economies of sub-Saharan Africa still a mess after decades of 'fixing'?"
He never wrote in again.
People like that person who wrote that nonsense about off-setting the purchase of a yacht are the true sheeple. When an "intellectual" says something, that's reason enough right there to dissect it, triple-check it, and then discard it.

Yes - but we're not organized. Leftist thugs don't call you out to the villiage green to fight. They get you and your family in the night, one house at a time. And when that shit starts to go down, a lot of people suddenly duck down and try to just stay out of sight. Those who stand up will be isolated and eliminated one by one.
The only way that kind of thing can be effectively resisted is through organization. Random acts of revenge will not be enough.

I hear you, and in any other time in history I'd agree with you.
But not this time.
Three and a half years of having everything you believe in mocked, while watching our supposed "betters" screw the pooch - and then demand to be thanked for it - is enough to wake people up. As a political class you can get away with shitting on people rhetorically when everything is going well. Normal people just tune you out and live their lives. When things are going poorly, it's not time to kick the sleeping bear. Yet that's what JEF and crew have done.
And it's conservatives who are the linear thinkers. Watch how fast shit gets organized when people start coming in the night.

The difference in the gas prices in the Cleveland area between stations are larger than I've ever seen. The closest station to me had it for 3.64 and another one across the street had 3.79; there's usually a penny difference at most. Then about 5 miles away there are multiple stations at 3.54.

ABC does the AP one better ...
The 2004 version of Barack Obama, who captured the nation with a dazzling speech about unity and went on to win the presidency on a message of hope, died on Monday. He was 8 years old.
The cause of death appeared to be a bitter realization that he needed to win reelection in an increasingly partisan political environment, a cancer that he had been battling for months if not years.
Obama's illness got the best of him late Monday, as he announced that his campaign for four more years in the White House would be based not on optimism, but rather the shady corporate record of his opponent, Mitt Romney, who ran a private-equity firm that few Americans knew about before this year.
Obama's announcement was a stark contrast to the speech that catapulted him into his party's sights eight years ago, when he electrified Democrats at their quadrennial convention.

Over five months out. Fall will go badly. She can't play defense and hold out. She needs to push for the win and her strident personality will hurt her.
Women don't do very well here, which may be why the Dems are so anxious to have these harpies run for Senate; get a big win to get over the equality hurdle.

LOL! Buzzfeed actually has an article up "A User's Guid to Smoking Pot With Barack Obama". Here are a few fun facts from that piece:
1. As a member of the Choom Gang, Barry Obama was known for starting a few pot-smoking trends. The first was called "TA," short for "total absorption."
(Choom was slang for smoking pot)
2. Along with TA, Barry popularized the concept of "roof hits": when they were chooming in the car all the windows had to be rolled up so no smoke blew out and went to waste; when the pot was gone, they tilted their heads back and sucked in the last bit of smoke from the ceiling
3. When you were with Barry and his pals, if you exhaled precious pakalolo (Hawaiian slang for marijuana, meaning "numbing tobacco") instead of absorbing it fully into your lungs, you were assessed a penalty and your turn was skipped the next time the joint came around.
4. Barry also had a knack for interceptions. When a joint was making the rounds, he often elbowed his way in, out of turn, shouted
made his acknowledgments; his own mother did not."Intercepted!," and took an extra hit.
(Douchebag was "redistributin" even back in H.S.!)
5. In another section of the [senior] yearbook, students were given a block of space to express thanks and define their high school experience. Â… Nestled below [Obama's] photographs was one odd line of gratitude: "Thanks Tut, Gramps, Choom Gang, and Ray for all the good times." Â… A hippie drug-dealer made his acknowledgments; his own mother did not.

Since some Rat Union hack in SC showed us these Alynski tactics are a OK,
I suggest "Barrack Hussein Obama" Pinatas for yer next party.
Buy The ever popular "The Won" Pinata and git a "Joe Bite Me The Enforcer" Pinata for free.
The half price models are filled with bullshi! and the Full price Wons are filled with other peoples money!

Hat Tip to Patrick at Thoughts and Rantings, who has provided information about KimberlinÂ’s whereabouts in Bethesda, Maryland, complete with street address and Google Street View. I wouldnÂ’t be a bit surprised if itÂ’s his MomÂ’s house and he lives in the basement.
