Here is some evidence that shows how liberal news reporters slip their bias into a report. This is an article written by Fox and AP.

So far so good, perhaps a little critical of Obama in implying he is directing congressional activities (which he is trying to do).
President Obama is unveiling a "to do" list for Congress as part of a new push to get lawmakers to act on stalled measures to create jobs, senior administration officials tell Fox News.
So he want some of his "stalled" programs pushed, or does he? He knows none of this shit is going anywhere. OK, so someone high up fed this little bit of Obama campaign crap to a reporter (Ed Henry) at Fox who agreed to print it. Is that an in-kind campaign contribution?
So what does he want pushed?

For example, at a campaign stop in Reno Friday, the president will press Congress on a stalled measure to help people who are underwater on their mortgages, but current on their payments, to refinance to a lower rate.

So take my money and give it to people who unwisely bought homes they can not afford. He can kiss my ass and he knows Congress will not go for this. Also:

Administration officials say much of the list is a series of small measures either unveiled in this year's State of the Union or leftover items from last September's American Jobs Act, such as infrastructure spending and money to prevent more teacher layoffs.

Teacher lay-offs. Who is he kidding? A great deal of that bullshit stimulus money went to hire minority teachers in "failing schools" (read inner city schools) and that money is gone and the teachers will be laid off. (Which is why some States refused to take it) So what he wants is another "stimulus" to put more federal money in failing schools which has been proven to never work. The schools are failing because of a "lack of money". They are failing largely because parents do not give a shit what their kids to in school so the kids don't either. And the ones who do care are marginalized and prevented from excelling by the ones who don't.

Officials acknowledged this is largely an effort to press an unpopular Congress to act on stalled measures, or risk taking the blame for inaction in an election year.

So basically what this is a campaign push against Republicans. I don't think there has been a "popular congress" since I have been alive. So why is Fox airing this campaign crap? Certainly not because they are bgiased for Republicans.

He was running out of money which is one of my biggest complaints about the length of the primary season because it takes way too much jack to compete. One thing that impressed me as things went along was how good a job Willard did in putting together an organization once he dumped a few fuckheaded losers like Sununu. That's a good executive trait which nobody seems to notice. Noot just didn't have adequate financial resources to do that; plus I think he's a loose cannon kind of a guy in terms of putting an organization together which would have made him a pretty crummy President imo.

One of the problems with a "living language" like English is that words can change their meaning. People who are 'Conservative' now would have been 'Liberal' (as in: 'Liberty') way back when. Part of the problem is that the Neo-Marxists know that their actual allegiance (erm: they're Neo-Marxists) won't buy them any votes here in the US, so they drape themselves in the euphemism "Liberal" or "Progressive," instead.

The critical question to ask when you hear that kind of thing is "What was being 'Conserved' and what was being 'Liberated?'"

I would say, looking back, that the campaigns that have been most successful are those that have been most optimistic. We harp on "Hope and Change" all the time, but never think the purely optimistic connotations of those two words were not vitally important.

If Santorum wasn't ready to endorse Romney, he shouldn't have. Sending an email at 11pm with that lukewarm excuse for an endorsement does not suggest that Santorum really wants to be on the record favoring a Romney win. If that's so, that's fine. As you say, he may feel mistreated.

But to half-ass it like that just puts Santorum's sour grapes on display. It also creates a bit of a news headache for Romney, who will no doubt be dealing with silly news stories about Santorum's sour grapes all day.

I love applying my Vegan test. This tests whether someone is really committed to being a Vegan, or if they're doing it because it's trendy. Offer them Jello.

See, anything more obvious and they can wrinkle their noses and say, "Eeew. Meat!" But with Jello (a few other things, too: anything thing that says it's colors come from "natural sources" normally means bugs, for instance) the "animal product" is almost an afterthought. The ones who are only Vegan because it's trendy won't think about it, and they'll eat the Jello.

I couldn't care less about UC Berkely, but I DO feel for the students and professors who have legitimate ongoing research that is being ruined by these scabies-ridden bastards. Research that could actually BENEFIT agriculture, unlike these squatting scumbags.

For example:

University officials claim the protesters have disrupted agricultural research by faculty scientists and students in the College of Natural Resources. At one point, Mogulof said, the squatters pruned some fruit trees on the property and explained to the dean of resources that they had to do it because the trees were diseased. Turns out the pruned branches were part of a research project on how diseases affect fruit trees, he said.

Though, with people who just claim to be "vegetarian" it bothers me less. There are levels, there, and some people use "vegetarian" as shorthand for "I don't eat most meat, and eat a lot of iron and protein rich vegetables to make up for it." See? "Vegetarian" is much shorter.

My sister-in-law is one of those. She has some (she admits weird and probably stupid) psychological hang-ups about eating most forms of meat, but she doesn't have a problem with chicken or fish.

A "Vegan" however, is supposed to avoid anything "contaminated" by animal products.

It turns out that the Ethanol in gas attracts water or something, so the carburetor is messed up now. (Im a girl and that's about as technical as I can get) Anyway just putting the word out in case some of you didn't know about this either. We will now buy gas at a marina (because their gas doesn't have ethanol) and store our generator and other small engines without any gas in them.

Empirical evidence only, but there is some merit to this coming scourge. It's actually not coming; it's already here. In SC, I'm amazed at the overweight kids here, there and everywhere. At the mall, at my son's school, at every turn. Growing up in the 70s, I think I can only think of about 5 obese kids in my high school. At my son's school, I'd hazard a guess that 40% are overweight. Never saw that during my school years. And the parents are no better. I don't want Moochelle sweating her drippy armpits all over the East Room on national TV....but we do have a weight problem in this country.

We're seeing the first generation of kids raised after the microwave became ubiquitous.

We bought a new microwave that broke in about six months. Since it was still under warranty, we got it fixed.

Our food consumption was altered drastically during the eight days it was in the shop.

I blame the development of video games with a sharp drop off in outdoor activity for kids; how many spend much time outside playing now? Just look at the collapse in the sale of kids bicycles; when I was a kid in the 1960's we spent nearly every daylight hour in the summer playing, building forts and riding miles on our bikes, not sitting on the couch with an x-box babysitter. For adults it corresponds with the drop in adult smoking. Half of my parents' generation smoked and it's a proven appetite suppressant.

During the Tobacco Wars in KY, my great-grandfather's brothers poured water on his tobacco while it was in the press, ruining it, because he wasn't standing with them, refusing to sell to the tobacco monopoly. I believe at least one gun was fired at said brothers. More to the point, I suppose the water ruined the cure and made the tobacco susceptible to mold and rot, but that's just surmise on my part.

Anyways, my theory on obesity:

We're seeing the first generation of kids raised after the microwave became ubiquitous.

We bought a new microwave that broke in about six months. Since it was still under warranty, we got it fixed.

Our food consumption was altered drastically during the eight days it was in the shop.

I blame the development of video games with a sharp drop off in outdoor activity for kids; how many spend much time outside playing now? Just look at the collapse in the sale of kids bicycles; when I was a kid in the 1960's we spent nearly every daylight hour in the summer playing, building forts and riding miles on our bikes, not sitting on the couch with an x-box babysitter.

I was a chubby kid but I did spend lots of time outside playing games. My brother spent more time reading books and was far more obese. Lots smarter than me in terms of literature, though.
