The NAACP and black people in general know a lot about firing a black man.
They have all done it and so it is easier for them.

Funny thing about the media broadcasters still pumping out his propaganda, their complicity has hurt their image to the point that they've lost their audience. But they still have their sponsors.

Good morning, Moron Horde. Today in 1923, the HOLLYWOOD sign was officially unveiled. Standing on a ledge at Mount Lee (north of Mulholland highway), and originally reading HOLLYWOODLAND, it was designed as an ad for a housing development in the area, with flashing lights spelling out HOLLY, WOOD and LAND. Built of wood and sheet metal, it was never meant to be permanent, but with the growth of the movie industry, the sign became an internationally recognized symbol. In 1949, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce had the last four letters removed.
A target of vandals over the years, the sign is now protected 24/7 by motion sensors, electronic alarms and the LAPD, who will arrest and prosecute anyone attempting to reach the sign. It is only accessible by application to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, who control the sign's use and image.
In 1932, the sign was a location of tragedy when the body of actress Peg Entwistle was found in a ravine just below the sign. She was and is considered to have jumped to her death, although there are enough suspicious circumstances surrounding the story to have led some writers to believe she was murdered and brought to the sign in an attempt to disguise the crime.
The documentary filmmaker Hope Anderson (who lives in the former Hollywoodland development) has created a wonderful documentary about the sign and also chronicles the history of the area in her blog, Under The Hollywood Sign. Check it out.
I'm hung over, so no story today. Hope you all have a wonderful day and a great weekend.

They do one of their headlines with a question mark at the end, which is the same thing as saying something like, "when did you stop beating your wife?"
At the end, the final end, after which they have lost everyone in gobbledegook, they give the Obama campaign a bunch of pinocchios for calling Romney a lying criminal.
But they did their job. Associated Romney with lying and being a crook, in their clever headline.

Lauren is providing the outfits at NO CHARGE. No taxpayer money was expended on them. If Harry Reid wants to get all upset about Chinese labor, he can burn some of those "green energy" contracts that went to China paid for by taxpayers. Or he can burn that big black CANADIAN bus that Obama tools around in.
The Olympic clothing controversy is a FAKE controversy to distract from Obama's record and to allow Harry Reid and other lefties to bluster and act patriotic. Since he hasn't objected to the numerous Chinese items purchased by the government, this story should be ignored as nothing but bluster and posing.

So they ran a re-run from 1993 and called it news? OK. If, in 1999 you asked me, with absolutely no intel or law enforcement background, to pick 2-3 potential terrorist targets in the U.S. - WTC would have been one of them. So they're not exactly prescient. They've been more wrong than right over the last 10 years+.
That doesn't mean they never get anything right though, blind squirrel, nut, and all that.

And they're really fucking expensive. Can't find the link, but the socks were like fifty and the skirts were nearly five hundred. American dressmakers wouldn't charge that much (they weren't "provided free of charge"--the corporations that fund the Olympic teams paid for them.)
I bet they're polyester, too. Blecch.

Granted, I haven't been shopping for ages. But given a penchant for cotton, the fabric of our lives, I purchase clothes and linens still made in the USA or if none available in the store, then most preferably from India, even Egypt or Pakistan. But I don't buy from China, the most efficiently merciless bloodsucking place on earth where humanity is cannibalized. It is NOT WORTH a penny "saved" when so many lives were brutalized for that penny "earned".

Well, they tend to be wealthy, so I figure it's either a massive cryogenics operation that keeps them from dying, or I just need to broaden my library of sources. ******************************* I've always suspected they kept a big closet full of gently used celebrities at each of the basic cable channels- trot one out now and then for a cameo role, or to fill out the cast on a "reality" show, stuff like that. Too much trouble to cart them off to the Goodwill for donating.

No doubt he, with every politician, votes for military benefits. But were Reid's record commendable beyond the norm, he'd be trumping his excellence.
There's nothing wrong with pursuing his education and starting a family, and going into politics. But none of that was for anyone but himself to gain access to graft from tax payers, just like Obama.

My husband is a minister. (I have a point here, I promise) And people often tell him he should tell more stories during his sermons. Personally, I have little use for preachers who are habitual stor ytellers. Everything is a story. I actually detest a lot of stories in a sermon/speech. I'm not here to be entertained. If I want entertainment, I'll go to the local theater and watch Abraham Lincoln; Vampire Hunter. I listen to sermons/speeches to be informed.
Obama, you can stick your stories where the sun don't shine. Do your job, you bozo. Nobody cares about your worthless stories.

I would prefer fedoras or driving caps myself, if they didn't go with cowboy hats. However, the design concept was, I am sure, motivated by profit, which is good old capitalism. You can sell berets to women, fedoras, not so much.

The blue jackets, white pants, red/white/blue scarfs are retro American Airlines flight attendant uniforms. Nothing startling.
And the bonnets, well, they are what they are. Berets, marketable cosmopolitan attire.
The hoopla from Congressmen to burn the "Made in China" uniforms is too little outrage, far too late. As if their interest in US Olympic Uniform manufacturing shouldn't have been at task prior to contract to produce, most particularly prior to the catwalk public exposition for Team Spirit on media display.
