9 My brother-in-law and sister are in Djibouti with the National Guard, where the hostages were taken after rescue. I bet the raid was staged from there as well. I will have to ask them about it when I see them again.

It would have required his speechwriters to update the teleprompter at the last minute, which is a bad idea when you're dealing with the mealy-mouthed, mushbrained SCOAMTUS.

Weird, my eyes got a little moist reading about this. After that SOTU address, you truly wonder WTF is going on here. Then I see this, and you realize there are great -  not good, but great -  people out there risking their lives for other Americans and doing it with consummate skill and preparation. It's not all BS and politics, some of the best and brightest are simply in the trenches getting the job done where it counts.

Thanks, Seals. God bless you.

30 There is one retarded commentor at Alreuters who is upset that the military got the pirates. He wants privated armed escorts to follow the ships. Although he is pro-arm you can tell he's a libtard because he doesn't get the next step.....who pays for the private armed escort? The shipper? Ah, yes, then why not just arm the ship? Insurance you say? Then why would the insurer allow for an armed escort? It's like they live in a circular logic puzzle maze.

Comments n the article are a hoot.  "Repugs boiling sweat and crapping in their pants.  Only President [Dipshit ]knows how to conduct successful military operations etc."    I don't doubt that the writer of that nonsense then went over to the corner of the room and played with his little thing.  Had Dubya been POTUS when this happened the same writer would have been frothing at the mouth and banging the walls of his padded cell screaming about murdering poor innocent third world citizens.

And in the real world, I suppose the SEALS had to kill these 9 yahoos because they were "trying to escape"--or maybe to teach them that payback is a beeyotch.  Doesn't matter--as a Texas Sheriff might say, those ol boys needed killing.

32 "That's SEAL...all caps, kind of like Corpsman vs. "Corpseman" a la His Highness."

No, no.  These were just some dim-witted, wanna-be Somali Pirates.  We equipped some trained seals with guns that could fire by pushing large bulbs with their noses and sent them in to rescue the hostages.

Another reason you're not hearing cries of "Military Industrial Complex!" and "Raaaaacism!"

So I decided to do what I can and sponsor you for the price of a cup of coffee a day. Not a frappuccino or anything - more like a medium from Tim Horton's.

My kids are fine. You won't believe this, Ndugu, but my oldest daughter got to skate with Wayne Gretzky at a charity game! Who is your favorite hockey team?

Well, I'm going to close this as you're probably in a hurry to cash this check and buy something to eat.

Anyway, I took my real kids to Baskin Robbins the other day, and boy did we pig out!  We also went to the Buffalo Bill Cody museum - what an interesting guy he was. I'm enclosing a pamphlet with the usual check so you can read about him.
