— Ace I always hear that hippos are bad-tempered and aggressive and dangerous, but I never see it.
Except in movies, like Congo, where they try to Authenticate their movie by bragging that they know that hippos are dangerous. And of course that's fake.
So here's a hippo charging and head-butting a jeep or Land Rover or something.

She's 40 yrs old. .....Is there an age minimum for VP's? Seems like it would be the same as for Pres.

Until the turn toward the fence behind which you're standing and run straight at it. A lot less cute then.
I'm surprised I didn't need new pants after the time that happened to me.
On the other hand, if you're ever near Glen Rose, TX, take the time to go to Fossil Rim. Take the guided tour and, if you're lucky, you might be in a very small group (last time we went, my wife and I were the only two on the tour). You get to do much, much cooler stuff that way.

Support for 3.6.x ends on April 24th. You may want to consider upgrading. Don't know what hardware/OS you are running, but FF11 is considerable zippier than earlier versions. I am now back to FF after abandoning it for chrome a few years back.

And some were saying on that 'feathered Dinosaur' thread that having feathers makes something less fierce.
Vic....I put out cheap peanut butter for my backyard birds. The mockingbirds love it....and I have noticed a lot less aggression towards the other birds, since they've become addicted to peanut butter. ....Maybe it's just because they have a constant food source, though.
And yeah, Jane. Bluejays hate crows....with a passion. I've seen them gang up on crows and chase them out of an area. ....Crows hate them back, too.

I learned "the hard way" to just let FF update itself.
When I used to do it manually, I'd lose all bookmarks and passwords.
I'm up to "eleven" now, and it's been good since 8 something.
I have noticed that when things get goofy, shutting Firefox down and restarting usually results in an "update", and things start working normally (or actually start working).

Some people just like to complain and FF spent the last year getting its sh!t in order. I'm a browser abuser (tons of tabs) and FF11 handles most of what I throw at it, only getting cranky when I have too many other apps open (development tools, Vms running whole other OSes running other dev tools).
Just install firefox 11 in its own folder, and you should be able to keep your old version in case you think it sucks.
