— Ace Interesting video by Rebel Pundit at Breitbart.
The video made me think of the Bradley Effect, which is usually thought of as whites falsely claiming they will vote for a black candidate, thus inflating the black candidate's standing in the polls, as compared to actual votes.
I'm wondering if there isn't a black Bradley Effect in play at the moment.
Blacks support Obama -- they say -- by 92-8. That makes sense, as blacks generally vote for Democrats by 90-10 or, at worse, 88-12. With a black president on the ballot, 92-8 seems pretty likely.
Except... except for the fact of Obama's record, which is generally miserable, and specifically miserable when it comes to soaring black unemployment and rising black poverty rates.
Plus, some progressive social policy adventurism, which is generally unpopular in the black community.
Now, the Bradley Effect posits that there is a "socially preferred" answer and, people being people, they offer the socially preferred answer -- sure, I'm voting for the black candidate -- in higher rates than they actually vote for that candidate. The voting booth makes no judgments, whereas in the usual sort of poll you're on the phone with a human being, who might.
It seems likely to me that within the black community there is an even stronger social preference to stating that one is supporting the first black president.
And so the polls might overstate Obama's support among blacks. Given the very high passions of some blacks about this -- Stacy Dash was vilified with the worst sort of racist and sexualized insults -- it just might be that more blacks are voting for Romney than are willing to say so aloud.
Now blacks only make up 12% of the population, and even a robust Bradley effect would only account for a 5% swing within that 12%; so we're not talking about large numbers of votes here.
Still, in a tight election, in a state like Pennsylvania... who knows.

Wait, so black people don't want the countr yot move forward to some bizarre THX1138 genderless fucked up society?
I thought they did!
That's what the Frankfurt school dropouts in the Obama-land want, so I thought that since they support this guy so heartily, and don't wnt to ever have to work again for a single thing, they would follow forward!
I am shocked.

That is, if 90 percent of blacks vote Democratic, blacks are 12 percent of the population, and the Democrats gets 50 percent of the vote, then blacks represent almost 22 percent of Democratic votes.
Democrats can't afford to lose *any* black vote--especially when their ground game is based on turnout. It's much easier going through a neighborhood and getting people to the polls when you know that 90 percent of the votes will be with you than when it's more of a mishmash.

Imagine Jewish feminists talking up abortion to Hispanic women, and emo environmentalists bleating about the endangered hissing cockroach to blue collar union guys. Hilarity ensues.

Here's another Jimmy Carter comparison. In 1976 Southerners had the first chance in almost a hundred years to vote for a mainstream Presidential candidate from the Deep South. Carter was very much a New South Democrat, the antithesis of George Wallace and Lester Maddox. Carter took every Southern state except Virginia. (What a difference 36 years makes: Ford won California, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey and Connebticut. )
Four years later Carter carried Georgia but no other southern state.
A lot of people, black and white, voted for Obama in 2008 because they wanted to elect a black president. A lot of them will vote differently this year.

Much if not all of the reported "Bradley Effect" was due to "leading" pollsters (not just one of them) not conducting surveys in the Central Valley and similiar agricultural-oriented parts of California - where voters were fleeing Governor Moonbeam and the state Democratic Party for reasons from the death penalty to Medflies.
"It costs too much to send people out there to interview voters."
"We only need to interview in the largest counties in the state."
"Be reasonable, this is what the other(s) is/are doing..."
It was a lot of fun at the LA DNC affiliate that night...as both their pre-election poll and their exit poll blew up in their faces (just like the 2004 exit polls blew up).
So, to a considerable extent, the "Bradley Effect" was a face-saving lie from Day One.
Hopefully a preview of 11/6/2012 at the NYT and MSDNC.

The Gays, Lesbians, Blacks, Jews, and others that leave the Dem reservation are often treated very harshly, because dem activists know their voices and votes will screw up the activist gravy train / ricebowl. After all, if the activist cannot deliver, what use are they? Dem activists are just like the Mafia, and will do anything to keep their "business" going.
A little intimidation and slander is just democrat activist business as usual.

Reagan started AIDS
As we now know from the Mitrokhin archive and gaining access to KGB archives, the KGB started that "the CIA engineered HIV to hold blacks down" crap back in the 80s. They planted the story in some newspaper in India (IIRC) that they'd penetrated (the sources above detail their efforts at penetrating news media everywhere). They laughed their asses off when the story took wing, almost as much as the stories about J. Edgar Hoover being a cross-dresser (another of their exploits).

Great video. I just don't know what the solution is for those communities other than to leave. Yes it would be beneficial, although short term extremely painful, for the govt funding to end, but I doubt that will happen until the US financial collapse.

Sure, they'd be livid for a single election cycle, but after that they would be free from the Democrat plantation and stop seeing themselves as group of victims and instead as individuals. Blacks vote uniformly Democrat anyway, it might boost turnout a bit on the margins, but it would quickly dissipate.
As long as Democrats have that fear they can hold out in front of them and make black people think they're the only thing keeping them from being homeless, they have the power.

Yes, but you have to kidnap a liberal one. Like #Forward. The ones like #BenghaziCoverup (or whatever) are edited out of the 'trending' lists by the information czars.

I guess that means 55% of 12% which is 6% of the population(all) are working blacks and they've got to be a little more tuned into the reality of what the Democrats agenda costs as far as taxes and such.
Plus they can see how they were doing under Bush (and to be fair under clinton) and can see that Obama ain't got a handle on the problem.
They can also hear and see that the job losses are hitting whites pretty hard also so it's not a ghetto thing.
People vote their pocketbooks and their religion (or their strongly held beliefs) and Obama has smacked them in both.

This is what Obama did as a community organizer down there. He got money to build a park and the contractors ran off with the money, in one instance. All the housing was still substandard when he was done. Not one job was created.
And now the folks get it. Which is more than you can say for the elites.

I understand the sentiment but you do realize that's leaving millions in the lurch?
I don't think even supposed Mormon racist's would agree to that and definitely not Romney.
Better for them to see they've been getting the short end of the stick by NOT voting Republican and for them to do so now if just to jack up the Democrats who take them for granted.

Timon,
Well the wind is starting to pick up now, and I'm getting a little nervous, my neighbor has 2 very questionable trees swaying in my direction. I had a huge oak tree fall in Irene, it landed on my neighbors house and she didn't get back into her house for 3 months. I took down all the trees in my yard, but my side neighbor still have 3 large not so healthy oaks that are very top heavy. I've been watching them for the last hour swaying back and forth. I hate wind.

Michelle Obama's attitude about not being proud of being an American has some validity as many blacks do feel disenfranchised and are treated as foreigners in the land of their birth. I can understand how they might feel that way if they didn't have someone pointing out how they are part of this country and should BECOME Americans in thought and deed. (those that for whatever reason don't already. It's a smaller amount than the country deserves so there's hope.)

turn off your TV's (except for known conservative shows.
cut your cable (if you dare) and let them know why.
Call the advertisers and tell them you refuse to buy from anyone who helps promote Progressivism by misuse of their first amendment right.

Each time I have seen a heavy turnout of Black voters. Somehow I don't think they're standing in line for an hour to early-vote for Romney.
I think that there is going to be a heavy turnout on both sides, and I'm not optimistic for Romney right now. I think that the election is going to easily fall into the margin of fraud.

Lubbock County voters have supported Republican candidates by margins of 2 to 1 or more in the past decade. Population: approx. 300,000.
Not as much as Dallas, but you did say "suburb"......which could be any of the small cities around Dallas, which I don't think will be voting for Obama. And, you forget Ft. Worth.......that Stetson-wearing, horse-riding city......definitely a cowtown and not one for Obama. Population: Approx. 760,000.
That's about 1mil so far.
And, then there's the whole metro area........those little towns tend to be more conservative....small town folks

a black woman i know told me that i was lying to her when I said Abe Lincoln was a Republican.
Look on the bright side. When you prove to her - beyond any shadow of doubt - that Lincoln was in fact a Republican, and that the Republican Party was founded in essence to abolish slavery ... there's a chance you might shake her allegiance to the Dems.
Not a real big chance, mind you, but a chance.
If possible, pile on by pointing out that Bull O'Connor was a Dem, and that the man who sent the 101st Airborne to Little Rock to force integration of the schools was Eisenhower - a Republican.

I know that there's more chance of Hurricane Sandy getting my feet wet than there is of Obama winning Texas - but that's my point. If Blacks are turning out in big numbers here - where there is no point- then I'm guessing that they'll turn out in big numbers in states where it does matter.

I still think that blacks will defect from the Dems en masse over gheybob "marriage."
They just won't vote.
