I'm not big on quoting the Washington Post's "fact checker" Glenn Kessler regardless of how his "rulings" come down because he's simply an opinion columnist masquerading as a "fact checker". Sometimes though, it's too delicious to pass up.

Here is a report on his Four Pinocchio ruling on Obama's claim that George Bush is responsible for 90% of the current debt.

Obama, in a telephone interview with The Des Moines Register yesterday, said: Â“When you look at why the debt exploded under my watch, itÂ’s because somebody else ran the tab before I got into office. Essentially 90 percent of the increase in debt is two wars on a credit card, two tax cuts that werenÂ’t paid for, a prescription drug plan that was not paid for and a massive recession that required extraordinary measures, brought much less revenue in and required a lot more revenue going out in the form of things like unemployment insurance.Â”
The Washington PostÂ’s Fact Check gave the 90 percent claim, which Obama has stated repeatedly, four Pinocchios for its lack of truth.
In a report published today, Fact CheckÂ’s Glenn Kessler broke down the disappearance of the surplus and the rise of deficits.
About 27 percent of the problem can be tied to Obama policies in 2009, about 35 percent in 2010 and 44 percent in 2011, Kessler found.
Â“We are not trying to make excuses for the fiscal excesses of the Bush administration Â— and Congress Â— in the last decade. But at some point, a president has to take ownership of his own actions,Â” the report says.

Obama take responsibility for his actions? That's flat out racism.

OF course they don't give the breakdown, or that it's probably weighted in favor of O, but people hear that and may think why vote. I live in central Ohio and we have been deluged with O ads and not many Romney ads. They are pulling out the stops here. I wounder how far behind they are? The problem is that they are mixing the terms debt and deficits together to give Obaka a slight out.

I have not found that yet--but I thought I would get this up now.

They put together gift baskets featuring Carolina Pralines and a letter welcoming them to the city and offering assistance in transportation, childcare or spiritual matters.

According to writer, Todd Starnes, The DNC banned the churches from distributing the gift baskets to delegates because, DNC said, the congregations hold values that are contrary to the party platform.

He would not be the first world leader to take control of a nation and disband the legislative branch of government. He has been effectively using the media to anesthetize the public to the dangers he poses. Like a patient being prepped for surgery, people are numb to the changes and won't have a clue what took place until they wake up in recovery and realize that free America has been removed and replaced with a regime that may parallel those of Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Chavez and Castro. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, I earnestly pray that we are spared from what seems a certain future and that Obama is overwhelmingly defeated in 2012. Otherwise, heaven help us.
