Woman Raped At Occupy New Haven

Another rape that, per Keith Olbermann, is understandable. Even necessary, in a way.

A member of the Occupy New Haven movement was raped in a tent at the Occupy camp late on Monday night or early Tuesday morning, police said.

Police responded to the camp at 3:25 p.m. The victim was brought to Yale-New Haven Hospital and police charged England Gamble, 53, of New Haven, with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Members of the Occupy movement said neither Gamble nor the victim are members of the movement. They said both are homeless and set up a tent nearby.

Note that there's some clown-nose on, clown-nose off going on here. When it's useful, the 99% claims everyone in the 99%.

But when someone gets raped, Occupy starts getting very exclusive about who is part of the "movement."

So the start of the article identifies the victim as "a member of Occupy New Haven," but the Occupy group says she is not an Occupier. A little internal consistency, article authors, please? The least they could do is change the opening to read, "A woman was allegedly raped at Occupy New Haven..."

It's funny that anyone who commits a crime, or who is victimized by a crime, in the vicinity of an Occupy protest isn't an Occupier. Only the good and pure members of Occupy -- the ones who shit in buckets and wear Che t-shirts -- are true Occupiers. Just like only people who blindly follow Obama are sophisticated. Re: the occupy rapes. Doesn't this just point out the basic stupidity and lack of understanding of human nature of the whole occupy movement. If you decide to live in a tent commune, without vetting your neighbors don't be surprised if some of your neighbors are not exactly well skilled in normal social behavior.

The farmers in PA were mad that they had been singled out for taxation. I made that point because we had a big discussion on this kind of shit last year and I did some research.

This type of unfair taxation and violent response to it has been repeated over and over in the U.S. and it is about time for history to repeat itself.
