— Ace Apparently. I assume that because the media told me so, by failing to even note it occurred.
Since they covered the tens of dozens of Mostly Peaceful Occupiers every hour, I assume no one at all showed up for the March for Life. Or, at least, no more than six, tops.

"Thousands" of people? When was the last time the left had a march with this many people? Probably back in the Bush days for an anti-war protest (and I'm still not sure they got these numbers).
The pro-lifers do this every year, and they get the same coverage.
Also, check out the photos from WaPo she links. No crowd shots, and plenty of shots to make the pro-lifers look crazy.

By the way, there was another one that nobody heard of on the west coast (in SF). It has been going on for about 6-7 years I believe.
Here is a link:

There is a tiny photo there if you click the link.
Tens of thousands of people, and they only get a little local coverage in SF.

When I read about it in the Washington Post the next day, the Post's crack team described the crowd as "several dozen" people. They and their fellow MFM'ers lie, all the time, whenever they want to.
Posted by: Stu-22 at January 24, 2012 10:54 AM (AiYlm)
They have always pretty much been obliged to cover it locally.
It used to close down the length of the Embarcadero as a crowd of people probably a mile long walked down it. And this time, they closed down Market Street instead.
They have to at least give it token coverage. Of course they show the "counter-protesters" just as much, as though there are as many.

In the linked blog post, the Anchoress made a very good point about how the media shows its bias by choosing what NOT to report: Fast & Furious, Solyndra, Lightsquared, no budget passed under Obama even when he had supermajority Dem control in the Senate. For quite a while, only Fox News was reporting on Fast & Furious and Solyndra.
Also, remember the nonstop coverage on the national debt in 2008 with the debt counter constantly being hyped? Well now that Obama has added a historic $5 Trillion in new debt (not counting unfunded liabilities) in less than 3 yrs, you don't hear peep about it
Obama's sleazy payoffs to Big Pharma bribing them with taxpayer money to stop running ads against Obamacare and 'Cornhusker kickback'/'Louisiana Purchase' backroom payoffs are dismissed as "old news". The MSM extreme bias and deceit is sickening.. yet they pretend that they are 'objective'

Not surprised about the lack of coverage for the March for Life. But I AM surprised the media didn't cover this, since it involves their precious Occupy scumbags.
-----------
"Occupy Protestors Disrupt Washington Pro-Life Prayer Vigil" (click my name for the link)
A peaceful religious tradition was disrupted today as the pro-abortion version of Occupy Washington attempted to surround and overwhelm a group of prayerful pro-life advocates in front of the Supreme Court.
For the last nine years, CEC For Life has sponsored a prayer vigil for unborn babies on the morning of the March for Life. Opposition from pro-abortion advocates is always expected, but often minimal. This year, however, CEC For Life found themselves quickly surrounded by a much larger and far more hostile group than usual, according to Fr. Terry Gensemer of the organization.
Gensemer said that, as those leading the prayer vigil began to invite pro-life advocates to join in worship, those with the pro-abortion opposition positioned themselves inches away from the musicians, chanting, screaming, and dragging a ten-foot banner between the team and those trying to pray and worship.
One member of the pro-abortion force actually spent an extended amount of time screaming into the face of an adopted child whose sign read: “I’m glad I was adopted and not murdered.”
-----------
You'd think the MFM would be eager to cover the Occutards as they stand up for a woman's right to murder her unborn child!

O/T But worth mentioning considering Mittens judicial appointment record in MA: This day in 1990—President George H.W. Bush nominates New Hampshire supreme court justice David Souter to a seat on the First Circuit. In a tragic blunder, less than three months after Souter accepts his First Circuit appointment, President Bush nominates him to the Supreme Court vacancy resulting from Justice Brennan’s retirement. Deploying his full arsenal of clichés, Teddy Kennedy rails against Souter’s Supreme Court nomination. His efforts, alas, prove unsuccessful.
John Paul Stevens ” was the liberal lion of the SCOTUS” was a Gerald “I’m so moderate” Ford appointment. (Replaced by “Wise Latina”)
If only the Republicans had nominated right, we would have a 7-2 advantage on the SCOTUS.

The only thing the left and "concerned" citizens would understand would be if you yelled in their face that doing this or that would give them power to tell you how to live and would take money away from you to give to them.

On the other hand, if someone would have figured out a way to illegally get their hands on the REAL long-form birth cert, we.....
(kidding..... I think)

Robert F Kennedy, he of the Holy Brotherhood of Martyred Kennedys and faultless in the eyes of the Left, was Joseph McCarthy's first lead legal counselor before being replaced by Roy Cohn. Another little factoid forgotten or maybe "not relevant"

Fools. The lot of them. If only they had a few molatov cocktails or pipe bombs, sprinkled with a half dozen arrests... THEN the media would pay attention.

But it's not rape-rape, or something. Even if it was, the mental and physical well-being of the mother is not what's important to them.

You would assault then like any other racist, violent gun-nut Republican?
Of course not. I would assault them like any other really really pissed off ginger, racist, violent gun-nut Republican. That's a totally different thing.

Why do you hate immigrants? *Notice the question has nothing to do with the above discussion. It's a classic liberal move*

*tears in eyes* Just when i think there's no hope left for this country, someone at the HQ posts a gorgeous piece of prose like this and my faith is restored.
"Leathery piss flaps."
Beautiful. Just... just beautiful
That's an oldie but a goodie. I named my AOS football pick 'em team "Stanley's Leathery Flaps" (to avoid a Yahoo profanity ban). For some reason, even though I was in the top 10 all year, my squad was never mentioned in the weekly updates.
But yes, it's an all-time classic description of the SCMOAF's babymamma.....

I missed it! What did it say? March for Lies? March for Lice? March for Dimes?

Picture 2: a shot of the pro-lifers. Teenage boys who looking like they're abusively heckling the other side.
Picture 3: A pro choice, cute, beleaguered young woman crying in the rain holding up a rain drenched sign.
And let's not forget picture 10, the Demon Nun.
Yeah, these assholes aren't biased at all. Nope.

MSN spent more time talking about embrionic stem-cell research helping two women to improve their eyesight than on the march.
If you can get the Catholic Channel on your TV, they're repeating the whole 5 hours starting Saturday morning. Look for the black minister telling the crowd how O and his cronies are killing "my" people.
Didn't see my son - his third march - but saw some of his friends.
