17 Minutes From Hans Zimmer's 'Man of Steel' Soundtrack
— Gabriel Malor

If you're partial to these sorts of things, here's 17 minutes taken from various tracks of Hans Zimmer's 'Man of Steel' soundtrack.

It comes out June 11th. I'm really looking forward to it. I still frequently listen to Zimmer's 'The Dark Knight' and, less frequently, 'Dark Knight Rises.' It's time for a new one.

You better believe the cobs have more content on the way. But for now, this is an open thread.

8 I saw the trailer for it before Iron Man 3, meh, i'm just burnt out on the whole brooding, introspective super hero crap, IM3 did it too but not too much and it at least it made up for it with lots of splodey stuff, Superman looks like it only has the brooding and not the splodey.

GI Joe seems to have been a bust
The Big Wedding starring all the has-beens was a bust
OZ the Great and Powerful* kicked ass -- why?
Evil Dead did okay, but it was cheap to make, anyway

Pain and Gain is doing okay but it's about to be crushed by Gatsby, in addition to Iron Man 3.

104 I really loved the Christopher Reeve Superman film (the first one).  For my money, that was the best Superman could ever hope to be.  A powerful, somewhat naive Boy Scout who was probably more disappointed in Lex Luthor than angry or vengeful.   One of the great superhero movies.  (IMHO of course.)
