That reminds me...

"Sharknado!"
I laughed. So did members of my Free Company (aka guild) when I told them.

I must protest most vehemently on how they are abusing the the felines in game. Did run the Benchmark program. Why would anyone torture felines by encasing their ears in a helmet? But leave the tail unprotected? Really?

Have you been offered the senior discount yet?
Granted I have a lot of grey in the beard and granted I was having a bad day and probably not looking my best....I was 43 dammit. The little goth girl at the KFC asked if I wanted the 10% Senior discount. I looked her right in the eye and said,"Sure....."

In Detroit, where more than 78,000 homes sit abandoned and falling apart, the city is getting a $52 million in federal funds to fight the blight with wrecking balls and dump trucks under a plan to demolish more than 4,000 vacant homes across the city.
FoxNews
$52,000,000/4000 houses = $13,000 per house.
Seems a bit pricey for a doze and haul.

I didn't get a chance to ask this yesterday but what ingredients are in crack pie?
I think it's made with crumbled Rize crackers like their infamous "Mock" Apple Pie.
And crack

It happened to me the first time at a movie theater. I wanted to tell her where to stick it, but then I stopped and thought about it for a second, and then took it. Fuck it. I was 56 when it happened.

Not really.
Not only do you need to pay the (union) guys who operate and maintain the equipment, you need to pay to dispose of the debris.
You'll need armed security, plus you have to make sure you have all your legal and environmental ducks in a row- those old houses likely contain asbestos and lead paint. Wouldn't want the non-existent local residents to be exposed, after all.
Oh, and of course you have to account for the money that'll be siphoned off by their corrupt politicians. Can't let those Cayman Island bank accounts go to waste...

Pygmy rattlers?
I thought those were just baby rattlers. I've been seeing those.
It's the Kissing Beatles that I've been worried about this year.
Those little fuckers sneak around at night and suck your blood...leaving you with a nasty infection.

Detroit has a local ordinance calling for a 'living wage' to be paid by all contractors. Don't know what it is..., but it certainly must raise the cost. On the other hand, all of the workers are probably drawing union scale.

Nope. They're full-grown rattlers. I used to see them all the time in the 60's when I was on a custom harvesting crew up in northern NE and western South Dakota. I guess they've migrated south for whatever reason.
They're nasty little bastids.

LOL, ahead of their time, the Japanese!

Based on some of the other text and dialogue in the game, I've got a sneaking suspicion that the English-language localization team was allowed a certain amount of lee-way in their translations. At one point I ran into an NPC who uttered the following as part of his dialogue (with allowances for my spelling): Oh frabjious day! Kaloo! Kaley!
Anna, er Chelsea - I suspect that Squenix would face a riot if the cat girls (and cat boys) had armor that made their tails disappear...

Oops, I said that in August 2007, before I earned my Military Corpse chops, about Bush in Afghanistan. Now let me be clear: I've evolved. Now I must unilaterally air raid villages and kill civilians in order to punish Assad for air raiding villages and killing civilians. Gusty Call Time!
