Ask her what the plan is to pay down the national debt.
Ask her if the Tea Party is the most dangerous group in America.
Ask her how she plans to get reelected for the rest of her life, and is she old enough to retire before the coming economic collapse?
Or, ask her about important stuff like trash pickup problems and such.

No, it isn't stupid, but thanks for that penetrating characterization. They can continue to work in the position, or they can decide that it's not worth what they're paid. There is a phrase that describes such a thing. .....Oh, yeah, a free market. Or are you saying these people are to weak of mind to decide for themselves? If that's the case, I don't want them anywhere near the levers of power.
I'm not interested in their stories and preferences. That's on them to decide. Things change, and I will not ask the average citizen to pay for something that those who make the rules won't accept for themselves.

The point is, employers all over the country subsidize their employee's health insurance. There is no reason the federal gov't should stop subsidizing their employee's insurance.
However, I do think they should have been given that subsidy and told to go use on the exchanges.

No, I'm not. Congressional staff should be forced to endure the worst case scenario of a badly crafted law. That means you are forced onto the exchanges, as so many will be, and it should be without a subsidy, as it will be for many of those forced onto the exchanges.

Calling it Obamacare was racist during the 2012 election cycle.

subsidizing their employee's insurance.
Oh, and as a Fed, I like the subsidy I get for health care. But you know what? Nobody from Capitol Hill ever calls up people like me to ask my opinion on things like how OCare should be constructed and rammed through.
Government could eliminate the subsidy, but then they'd have to raise the wage scale for people like me. We can barely attract them as it is.
It would be extremely beneficial for politicians to have to trim their staffs in order to accomodate the increased salaries needed to attract staff who have to pay into OCare.

Not when the deductibles are considered. Most people will never hit that limit, so in effect the premium buys them nothing at all and they'll pay everything out of pocket.
As someone mentioned earlier today, the high deductibles make it a defacto catastrophic plan (albeit a very expensive one) with frills you'll never actually take advantage of.

Ok... I'm trying to figure out numbers here....
If you take all the money spent on healthcare nationwide, and divide it by population.... it comes out to just about $8500 per person.
BUT... 30% of Lifetime Healthcare costs come in the last year of life... and those should MOSTLY be covered by Medicare now days...
So.... say... non last year of life average costs... about $6K per year... covering EVERYONE... good health... bad health... pre existing condition...
Guy above is getting a $6K a year SUBSIDY? probably another $2K out of pocket? total insurance cost without copays and such... 6K????
Why is this guy pumping more into the system, than the national average... unless there is some serious cost shifting going on???
Is the Fed Gov trying to Cost Shift Medicares last year of Life coverage onto the Insurance people? to mask the Cost to the Taxpayer?

McCain, his opponent, insisted it was all business-as-usual. Romney, who really, really, should have known better, thought President Michael Jackson was just "in over his head".

And the 6,000.00 the Federal government shells out yearly. I doubt this couple pays 6,000.00 a year in income tax to the fed.
Where's the money coming from?

Ask her if it was correct in her opinion for the House to have issued articles of impeachment against President Nixon in 1974, based in part on Nixon's alleged use of the IRS as a weapon against political adversaries.
Then if her first answer is affirmative, ask her why that precedent should not also require issuance of articles of impeachment against President Obama on the exact same grounds.
I doubt any Democrat in the country will give you a straight answer to that.

That's the real kicker....
The BIG Tax money for this, if it works... comes from two sources... the Tax on crutches... and a 3.8% Capital Gains tax on anything above 200K...
Now... THAT is the tax that will bite... as Corporations ALSO pay Capital Gains tax's...
But I still don't see how the numbers work.... ie... how this will pay for itself as more and more folks will move OFF of employer, onto the subsidized Gov plan...

This is why the push for $15/hr fast food wages. That's high enough that it pushes them into the range where a single person WILL start paying some modest level of income tax.
Currently a single person at or near min-wage pays no Federal income tax.
The govt sees a vast untapped pool of revenue units out there.

Yeah.... but they have a delicate balancing act.... Tax Revenue vs. Free Shit...
So they Tax them, then give it back via free shit to buy their vote... Win/ Win...

cheap theater? Or is his presence so overwhelming to Progressive womyn?

My money is on paid fainters, like the paid mourners of days gone by. Strokes Obama's ego, takes them off the unemployment rolls, is win-win!

1. Regarding the identity of the father of my twins, Makeeshia was fathered by Maclearndon McKinley I am unsure as to the identity of the father of Marlinda, but I believe that she was conceived on the same night.
2Â… I am unsure, as to the identity of the father of my child as I was being sick out of a window when taken unexpectedly from behind. I can provide you with a list of names of men that I think were at the party if this helps.
3. I do not know the name of the father of my little girl. She was conceived at a party at 3600 East Grand Boulevard where I had sex with a man I met that night. I do remember that the sex was so good that I fainted. If you do manage to track down the father, can you please send me his phone number? ThanksÂ… (The runner-up).
4. I donÂ’t know the identity of the father of my daughter. He drives a BMW that now has a hole made by my stiletto in one of the door panels. Perhaps you can contact BMW service stations in this area and see if heÂ’s had it replaced.
5. I have never had sex with a man. I am still a Virginian. I am awaiting a letter from the Pope confirming that my sonÂ’s conception was ejaculate and that he is the Saver risen again.
6. I cannot tell you the name of AlleshiaÂ’s dad as he informs me that to do so would blow his cover and that would have cataclysmic implications for the economy I am torn between doing right by you and right by the country.. Please advise.
7. I do not know who the father of my child was as they all look the same to me.
8. Tyrone Hairston is the father of child A. If you do catch up with him, can you axe him what he did with my AC/DC CDs? Child B who was also borned at the same timeÂ….. well, I donÂ’t have clue..
9. From the dates it seems that my daughter was conceived at Disney World. Maybe it really is the Magic Kingdom .
10. So much about that night is a blur. The only thing that I remember for sure is Delia Smith did a program about eggs earlier in the evening. If I had stayed in and watched more TV rather than going to the party at 8956 Miller Ave, mine might have remained unfertilized.
11. I am unsure as to the identity of the father of my baby, after all, like when you eat a can of beans you canÂ’t be sure which one made you fart. (This made number #1).

There was a similar one years ago that said "Your Bonus is approved, Hit OK for direct deposit", Then you chase the ok button around the window.
My favourite was "press Accept to receive your Coca Cola drink holder.' You hit it and your CD drive slides open, then you look at it dumbly as the joke dawns. Can take as long as 15 seconds for some people.
Thanks for the laugh and the trip down ROM lane.
