I keep hearing about the     Louisville player with the "gruesome" injury, and I'm getting a little sick of hearing it described as "gruesome."    Yes, it was awful.   A compound fracture is, by any measure, not     something that anyone    can look at without feeling a LITTLE squeamish.   But    good Lord,    in    every   report I've been hearing about it    the    sportscasters    have been acting like  "NO ONE IN    THE     HISTORY OF THE WORLD  has EVER had a compound fracture before!"

Folks, it's a compound fracture.  The bone sticks out    through the skin.    It's    never NICE, but    it happens.    Can we stop acting like it's the most terrible thing to hit the    sports world since Christopher Reeve fell off    his horse please?

This is precisely what's worrying though.  Set aside for a moment the basic wrongness of this, and realize that even after a supposed "plan" either a) they have no idea how deep the whole is or b) they're being so opaque the media can't figure out what they're doing.

I have other legitimate concerns here.  As much as I just want to take a chainsaw to that law, I'm thinking repealing it is an all or nothing proposition though.

Getting rid of the individual mandate just plays into to crazed populism of the people.

No.  The American people voted for this SCOAMF, they get what comes with that.  Either repeal the whole damned thing (goodies and all) or keep it.

Plus, repealing the mandate is exactly what the progs seem to really want, since it'd hasten the collapse of insurance by opening the door to the free rider problem.  I want this whole f'ing law gone, not just the most unpopular parts.

I like him as well. I don't agree with him 100% of the time(or ever 50%), but he covers issues that are of interest to me and that I think are quasi-important.

So the woman    who    got beaten up on   that Chicago train    moved there four years ago from Nashville.   What on earth would possess a person to move TO Chicago?  I hope whatever it was, it pays well.

6:00 AM - Wake up

6:30 AM - Shower

7:00 AM - Finish getting ready for work

7:30 AM - Leave for work

8:00 AM - Arrive at work

8:30 AM - Realize you're surrounded by fucking     douchetards who couldn't find their ass with both hands and a map.   Fall forward onto your keyboard, cry with frustration and     pray for death.

This is why I enjoy being in code enforcement and spending half my day doing real work out of the office. My co-workers and I pretty much just rip on the overpaid idiot bureaucrats who spend most of their days showing up and collecting their paycheck, then occasionally come up with a new idea to prove that they're 'doing something', which we in enforcement usually ignore while we pile on about what a bunch of useless preening retards they all are. Unfortunately, we're outnumbered by them...

I hear you, most of the people I work with who do field work are pretty solid, in fact my office may have the densest concentration of hippie bashers in the entire NYC metro area. But we have our union slugs too, like the lady with 5 phds who has the same position as myself (I hold a BA in Political Science), who seems to think her superior education means she doesn't really need to accomplish much of the real work that the rest of us do.

Depends on how you look at it. I'd be bored sitting on my ass all day. Plus, in an effort to appear productive, the current crop of admin is busy tying their own nooses, I don't really want any part of it. I'm sure I piss some operators off, but if it comes from me, they deserved it. I think the child was dissappointed because they wanted something bad for their hellth like a chocolate rabbit or something. Everybody had fun in celebration of Presdent Obama, his Hellthcare law which gives us free hellth care on that Easter Day holiday.

Why does the RNC need to waste money on entertainers, anyway?  No one tunes into the convention to watch them, and they aren't even advertised.
