At what point do you say enough is enough?

I submit to you for weighing and measuring, the esteemed Stephen Espalin, who has threatened to assassinate poor Bo, the first dog, as well as other less admirable occupants of the Whitehouse. Poor Bo lives under the threat of winding up in a pot every day.

Espalin had racked up 59 arrests under 24 names and 12 Social Security numbers, including two convictions for sexual offenses and numerous theft and fraud convictions, by the time of his 2002 sentencing [for threatening to assassinate GWB], federal prosecutors in Tennessee said.
An appellate ruling from 2003 said psychological tests on Espalin showed he had a pretty normal mental capacity and Espalin told a psychologist he was "80 per cent" regretful that he did not recant his threat against Bush.
"He stated that a part of him wants to continue making the threats because he enjoys the attention that he is getting," an appeals judge wrote.

I think we've seen quite enough of Mr. Espalin outside prison walls for say...oh the rest of his natural life?

41 Stock-I have silence on my iPad too, but I have volume at 100%. I do not have side switch set to change. Sometimes I turn it off completely and that will fix sound issue. Other than those things the iPad has its value, but I bought iPad 2 with no plans to upgrade to newer one. A friend is going to sell my iPhone 4S for me, I am giving him 10% of sale price and will buy iPhone 5. I want larger screen on iPhone because I enjoy having lunch by myself and reading email or visiting here with it.

I had read earlier today of a case where a baby daddy had some kind of standoff with police , had his 4 and 9 year old in a bathtube f gas threatening to ...well ya know...
Anyway they get a jhold of him spych eval him say yup He's messe'd up, release him back to the streets where shortly later He actually does pour gas on the two wee ones and his girlfirend and burn 2 of them to death along with himself older child is alive but going to be in physical hell in recovery, and I'm sure long term emotional mess.

so, when is individual rights more than societal rights to a very obvious danger?

I'm struggling with this, He had actually threatened life and limb of those children!

I've read a career criminal does like 20+ crimes/day of all sorts when they're on the street. Shoplifting, petty theft, burglaries, vandalism, littering, etc.

The average "law abiding citizen" does about 3.

Not being a lawbreaker of some sort on a daily basis has become essentially impossible due to the quantity of possible violations.

98 yankeefifth- Our office is on the 13th? floor. I put the question mark after the 13 because there is no official 12th floor. The building owners use that for something but not many people know. There were 13 Colonies at first in the US. I am not bothered by the 13th floor. I had to walk down all the stairs in May, there was a power outage in March for a few days in that part of Boston but I was out that day and it happened again in May. I wear high heels every day.
