6 Bill forgot to mention that, according to Rachel Jenteal, his attack on Zimmerman was because he thought Zimmerman might have been a gay sexual predator. Gay men are not looked upon very kindly in the young black male demographic. So yeah, There's a good chance that the hate crime was committed by Martin, not Zimmerman.

113 Concise and to the point, Bill Whittle gets the job done yet again. For those folks who don't keep up with the news the way the rest of us does, this video should be eye-opening if they have the courage to watch it.

All of the ingredients for a disaster were placed together on a rainy night, but it didn't have to be this way in the first place if Martin had an intervention earlier on before adopting the thug life, and Zimmerman had remembered the reason why he carried a piece in the first place. Of course he probably wishes he had never gotten out of his vehicle. Having the means to defend one's self isn't the same as anticipating what a potential opponent will do, or for that matter, how a potential opponent assesses the situation they found themselves in.

An aside: I love Whittle in his role as the "Virtual President." Between him and the coming Mark Levin book, the tools to save the country are in place... but we now require the courage to pick them up and use them without waiting for a savior to lead us and to show the way.

A second aside: I really liked Man of Steel. But damn if Kal-El had handled the situation different.

You'd be surprised what everyday use of drugs (and booze) can do to the body. Besides, the liver damage was in Traytable's autopsy report and was probably consistant with opiate type damage to the liver.

When I did my school practicum at the medical examiner's office I saw fatty livers (a condition from drinking a lot of booze) in several late teen cases brought in.

204 People need to remember that 17 year old drug addicts normally didn't start drugs last week. Many start at 10, often with alcohol. Parents do not want to wait to discuss drugs, effects, etc. until kids are teenagers, work needs to start much earlier.

I knew a fellow who had cirrhosis before he was 25 but that was a congenital illness brought on by Irish ancestry and a history of drinking heavily every day for more than ten years but mostly because of the drinking.

The semester I spent at the medical examiner's office was one of the most eye-opening experiences I've ever had on a number of things, not just the effect of drugs and booze.
