Please. ESPN is full of hacks. They are pushing the conferences that they have the rights to as the teams that should be in the BCS or March Madness tournaments. If you are in the PAC12 or B1G 10, you are screwed. Even the schools leaving one "ESPN" conference to go to a "Non ESPN" conference get screwed.

ESPN has loaded up on the mid majors and that is why the tourney is now being loaded up with them. ESPN tells the idiots who know nothing about sports what to think, the idiots repeat it, and it becomes the new meme. You fall for the ESPN propaganda because you know nothing.

51 SFO Examiner: If the latest news out of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in San Francisco is accurate, those who both worry about the dangers of manmade climate change and support the legalization of marijuana are going to have to make a tough choice. According to a report by Evan Mills, an energy analyst at the lab, the growing of marijuana indoors uses 1 percent of the U.S. electricity supply and creates 17 million metric tons of carbon dioxide every year. That's not including the carbon dioxide produced by exhaling pot smoke. It's no dilemma. Its integratively complex.

192 Telling someone Starbucks does not want their business if they believe marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

Now who is the intolerant bigot?
=======
I think you know the answer to that.
Because it's a "civil right."

You are.

I'll keep saying it right up until it becomes "I told you so" but, they don't want queer marriage so they can "marry the person they love." That's bullshit and they know it. They have that. They have that in every state in the union and every single first-world country.

What they don't have--and what they want--is the legal force of law to shut down and destroy any and all entities and persons who do not want to "celebrate" and fully embrace their lifestyle.

There is a lawyer in CA who made millions off of the ADA. All he did was hire a couple of people to drive around the state scoping out any business that wasn't handicapped accessible. They he'd roll on up there in his wheelchair and slap them with a lawsuit the following week.
Made millions in fees and settlements.
Bankrupted I don't know how many mom and pop stores. He didn't fucking care. Didn't even matter that they had no ill intent.

Now: We have all sorts of anti-discrimination laws in this country. (Stupidly, we thought it was a good idea to base laws on the color of your skin or your gender, etc.)

And now the queers come along and scout out your little church. Hmm. "We'd like to get married here" or "we'd like to go on your couples retreat," or "we'd like to sign up for your Parent's Night Out." Not only does their attorney's get paid but they get to shut down another "hate center." "Victory! Take that dad! Fuck you, priest!"

Or your church could just give up it's tax exempt status instead. How many churches will last after that? Especially when they are often the largest building in town after city government.

So maybe you can just meet in a house?

Oh, did you forget about CA ruling that the couple that had people over for bible study was a church? Hmm. Where do you think they were going with that?

"Oh," you say, "they wouldn't dare go after the tax exempt status of churches." Bullshit. They already talked about it after Prop 8 passed.

And there is recent discussion about how many billions in federal revenue are "lost" because churches don't pay taxes. And that's separate, above and beyond the "how come we're subsidizing all this hate speech?" talk.

The Romans had a saying, "a friend up unto the alters." You can be a friend with someone but always keep in mind they are not your friend when your religions differ. And queer marriage is their alter.

Gabe et al. may be nice guy--a great guy--but anyone who supports queer marriage supports your church getting shut down, you having to worship in private; your company getting sued for not having a "gay rights" day or not granting extra vacation days to Bill and Bob for their honeymoon; your kid getting kicked out school because he said homosexuality was a sin--and on and on. All the thing you can now get in trouble for if you said it or did it to a black person will apply to queers.

'Cause it's a civil right, don't 'ca know?

"Freedom of religion?" "Freedom of speech?" Sure. But "I think we can agree, these rights are not absolute."

They're going to amend the Constitution and we don't ever get to vote on it.

I am out for now and will return with a new hastag since I will be snitched out.

Ask yourselves this question, am I lying that Conservatives live in a bubble?

Are you not being lied to by he Republican Party who wants to go to war for Al Qaeda in Syria?

How can the GOP being anti-Islamic terror when they support the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda?

How can the Republicans be Pro Israel when they are supporting Islamists taking power power in surrounding countries?

How can the Republican Party be Pro Christian, when they bitch about LEGAL Catholic Mexicans and South Americans, but support Muslims immigrating to America?

Why do none of the major Conservative blogs or Talk Shows bring up these contradictions?

You know I am speaking the truth, but to be accepted on this blog, you play the denial role.

Wake up Conservatives, you are being lied to!

266 From this morning's Open Thread an update about the two skydivers, an instructor and student, killed at Zephyhills, FL. One of two skydivers from Iceland killed during a jump Saturday in Zephyrhills was wearing a video camera on his helmet so the footage will be used by Pasco County authorities investigating the deaths. The main parachutes never opened, the owner of the center said Sunday. "Neither one deployed his main chute and we don't know why," said T.K. Hayes, co-owner of Skydive City, where hundreds of jumpers have come for the annual Easter Boogie event. "Sometimes during a jump something creates a distraction." He said that both reserve chutes, a required piece of equipment, did deploy. "But it was not in time to save their lives," he said. From Tampa Bay Online

313 Look at it this way Miss M, when I left the house this morning at 6 it was still snowing and the wind was doing 25-30. Took me an hour to drive almost 30 miles. Spent about 3 hours out in the stuff getting ready for the helicopter and then, then, they decided to cancel. Monkeys. Football. Some assembly required.

315 Who wants to pay $5 bucks for burnt beans? *** Exactly! They way it is "bold". It isn't bold. It is burnt. The beans have been roasted waay too long or at too hot a temp.

316 #320  My theory on the benefits is that every employee gets to pick one adult on the insurance.  Sibling, boyfriend, girlfriend, adult child, parent, whatever.  One and one only.  Choose wisely.

Marriage is declared a religious ceremony and the state stays out of it.  Civil unions grant legal rights.  Religious couples have a wedding and a separate civil ceremony.

The end.

317 320 Sunny,

it undermines the entire structure of the benefits paradigm private and public...

I mean all these assaults on traditional marriage are sort of forgetting the entire point of the institution in the first place...but that's okay we've managed to undermine the entire paradigm of what money is and is not in about 40 years...may as well wreck every other older than recorded history mechanism or penumbra man has evolved as well in the next 40...

I want off this ride soon.

I officially declared when I saw their funky chicken dance and the guy click his heels running down the court.
