6 Most critics consider Bride of Frankenstein to be superior to the original 1931 Frankenstein with Boris Karloff.

And Young Frankenstein beats them both in the nuts.

11 ‘Offensive’ Halloween costumes banned by US university

In a letter, officials said: “please keep in mind that certain Halloween costumes inappropriately perpetuate racial, cultural, and gender stereotypes.

I knew of one costume that looked like “a letter filled with anthrax sent from Afghanistan” that would avoid any direct “perpetuate racial, cultural, and gender stereotypes”, but infers that Afghanis are despicable.

Another was a head piece of a “cod” who wore a “cape” (i.e. a “Caped Cod”) would probably infer the stereotype that the life of a cod is so lowly that it would wish it was a human.

Just looking like a student will offend the “townies.”
Even dressing like you normally do and claiming to be a “homicidal maniac” (they look like everybody), I’m sure would offend somebody.

Tell me one Halloween costume that doesn’t “perpetuate racial, cultural, and gender stereotypes” that couldn’t be considered “inappropriate” by some soul ?

54 He should’ve seen this coming Editor, Times-Dispatch: I am self-employed and I pay for my own health insurance. I assumed I would pay a surcharge for the Affordable Care Act every month. I assumed incorrectly that I would have the freedom to choose, that my future and security were in my hands. My insurance agent visited my office and asked me what provision of the ACA I wanted to sign up for. I thought he was kidding; he wasn’t. I do not have a choice. My policy will go from $325 a month to more than $900 a month, my coverage will be nowhere near what I have today and I must change my family doctor, eye doctor and dentist. My deductible will be as high as $8,000. This act is now a federal law and there are no private insurance policies available — none — at any cost. I actually felt sorry for my insurance agent as I could see his frustration and weariness at having to explain this to his clients over and over. My impression was that this act was to assist those who could not assist themselves, to provide help to those in need. I was fundamentally supportive and in agreement with this concept. I should have seen this coming simply by the fact the lawmakers exempted themselves, their families and their staff. If a car mechanic will not drive a car after he performs major repairs, then the car is probably not safe for me and my family. Why $900 a month for an inferior product? The middle-class citizen will carry this burden, the rich can pay cash, the poor pay nothing, and the folks in the middle pay everything. Michael Carroll. Richmond.

Mike, I use a collet 2 die set and only size the neck. You can get away with this if you shoot in the same rifle ( bolt or SS, not auto )

I think the 3 die set includes a full length sizing die for autos or brass that is used and not sized for your bolt guns.  I am using Lee dies. I think it is handy to have the 3 die set.

Some 3 die sets include a crimper. I don't crimp my range ammo for my bolt guns or SS.

Karloff had a syndicated radio pop-star interview show in the 60's. He used that voice, which creeped everyone out, but just as you might suppose he was a classy and well-read guy.

I met "candy kid" Vincent Price once; he was giving an art lecture, and had done his homework. As he would have, since he was a middling-large art collector.

Lugosi, now, he had problems. Loved him in "The Postal Inspector."

But I can’t find it in the Constitution. And everything I favor I don’t think is necessarily constitutionally based,” said Dershowitz.

Karloff was in real life a gentlemanly Brit named William Henry Pratt, well liked by fellow actors and quite active in the early days of the Screen Actors Guild.

Bela Legosi on the other hand was a heavy drinking, drug addicted big spending party guy who was always going broke.

157 A little Karloff trivia:

During the production of Frankenstein, there was some concern that seven year old Marilyn Harris, who played Maria, the little girl thrown into the lake, would be overly frightened by the sight of Karloff in costume and make-up when it became time to shoot the scene. When the cast was assembled to travel to the location, little Marilyn ran from her car directly up to Karloff, who was in full make-up, took his hand and asked, "May I drive with you?" Delighted, and in typical Karloff fashion, he responded, "Would you, darling?" She then rode to the location with "The Monster".

A great story. From all accounts, he was a very gentle man who loved children and children naturally gravitated to him.

The government has also noted that many of the products claim to "purify the air" but in reality are more likely to do the exact opposite.
