It's really a lovely sight to see those yachts head out of Sydney Harbour!

The NYC media is training to go to DC! Today the Mayor elect announced that his daughter was a drug addict. I just heard there were "rumors for years" and that 'De Blasio had threatened media about reporting it." You can bet if there were any skeletons in Lhota's closet they would be all over it like a rash.

Sydney Harbour is just made for events like this
If you're interested in the history of the race especially the killer 1998 race I recommend this book Fatal Storm by Rob Mundle - one of the sailors rescued was an American who was swept overboard - a miracle he was picked up during the horrific storm the yachts were in

ObamaCare is being INFLICTED on the country, and it is doing real, observable, poll-able damage to the Democrat Party as an institution.
Let it occur. Rail against it, say you want to repeal it, but for God's sake don't schedule a vote.
The country re-elected this asshole. The country needs to understand exactly what happens when you put these people in charge.

My Schwinn story.
Mine has a happier ending. A couple of friends and I rode our bikes to the dime store and left them propped against the wall outside while we went in to spend our allowance, probably fifty cents between the three of us. Kid came up to us and asked if the blue bike outside belonged to one of us. 'My friend borrowed it, but it's OK he brought it back.' He had, too. I always wondered how he had been 'persuaded' and if the informant had done the persuading.

I just talked to a friend of mine in CA ad we discussed that very topic. I asked her how in the hell they were going to enforce it. She said they had State employees going around looking at people's chimneys for smoke coming out. If they saw it they issued a "ticket".
It is insane. The entire State is going broke but they can pay people to go around and look for smoke coming out of a chimney.

It really doesn't make any difference since one of the British scientists working on the project was an agent of the Russians and he was giving them data all during the project.
Which is why they were able to deploy a bomb so fast after us. The ability to make a bomb is really more tied to the ability to enrich U-235 than it is the technical details.

“You’re fired,” an audience member volunteered.
“You’d get fired,” Obama agreed. “Right?”

Probably one of the densest fogs I ever witnessed happened on Christmas morning when I lived in L.A.
I was leaving work, and since I lived very close, was walking home. Got to a major intersection, and could barely see the lights. And this was standing on the sidewalk.
So I just listened to hear if there was any cars coming, and then just crossed.
Have never seen fog that thick ever again.

Hanson's a smart man and he knows this country is finished. He just can't say it out loud as he would get Derbed by spineless crap weasels at NRO.
Just read between the lines. He's not shaming the media, he's telling you that our Republic no longer exists.
