Debbie Wasserman Schultz 'We're Not Mizled by the President'
— rdbrewer

Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on MSNBC's Jansing & Co. Chris Jansing brought up Obama's "keep your plan" pledge, pointing out it has upset a lot of people who felt misled. She played video of Marco Rubio criticizing the president for not keeping his word.

Wasserman Schultz said Rubio has zero credibility and that--and this is where it gets weird--Americans "were not misled." Except she said "mizled." It looked like she had her big conclusion written into the teleprompter and that "at the end of the day" was the signal she was starting to read it.

It's funny; it's kind of dumb, but most importantly, if true, MSNBC is allowing select interviewees to prepare their answers and read them on the air.

18 Also - my wife and I have a good policy through her giant corporation, it is very reasonably priced but has a fairly high deductible - $2500. I was expecting cancellation or changes with this years open enrollment, but, no, we are all good. (this happened in September) I realized why is because the employer mandate got pushed back a year. Its a nightmare now for a few million people who are in the individual market. When the bulk who get their insurance through their employers get socked, it will be Armageddon. If the GOP were smart (Hah! I kill me!) they would start warning NOW that what is happening on a small scale now will be on a big scale next October. Right before the elections.

Even the fsa and the true believers are being hurt by this thing.  It will bring down the dems.   McCauliflower was a portent.  He was winning by a huge margin until the oblabocare shit hit the fan.  His support dropped rapidly and his margin for the win was narrow enough to give dems in the House and Senate a migraine.  They see the hand writing on the wall.  McCwhatever was not involved in writing or passing that law. But he has a (D) after his name and that was all it took for him to damn near lose that election.  The democrats are wholly responsible for this shit and even the media cannot hide it because they spent 2 weeks yelling that the repubs "shut down the government in an attempt to stop the Presidents wonderful signature achievement".  They reminded everyone daily that not one republican voted for the "historic law".   They cannot undo that. This shit sandwich will fuck the dems for years to come.  We will not lose our country because of this, but we will squash the threat posed by progressive idiots.

I have suspected that the White House press corps have been trading advance prescripted questions for "access" and "visibility" for a long time now. Even predating Obama.

There's a G.W. Bush press availability transcript in which someone is waving their hand frantically to be called on and Dubya shakes his head no, and says, "This is a scripted," in those exact words, before calling on someone different.

If memory serves, he may even have said something along the lines of, "Where's _____?" referring to the reporter he intended specifically to call upon.

Think about how crummy it makes a reporter's career look if they're the poor wallflower schlub whose entreaties are never graced with a response. There's a huge incentive, in such a high profile job, to be one of the favored few whose questions not only get asked but get answered.
