— CAC A few nights ago, a moment of inspiration filled me with a serious question...
what if we are already dead, and this is all just a flashback?
Well apparently, I'm not the only one to think this, and a scientist with a bigger understanding and a mind more expanded than mine could ever be has thought this out:
Whoa. By the way don't watch after 9:00 unless you want to hear a Canadian sing.

You are a Boomer but have decided to align yourself with Gen X.
Please. This is sophistry.
Boomers were shaped by their parents, just as you were. This generational blame is something the left started back in the 60's, and I remember it well.
The generational infighting is a deliberate construct of the left. So please drop it. All it does is cause more division, which is what Obama wants.
We are all in this together, regardless of age, sex, or class. If we fail to realize this, we will lose.

You know that old schtick where somebody grabs your arm and causes you to repeatedly slap yourself while saying "why are you hitting yourself" over and over again?
That's how I feel my life is right now.

and while that is true I also learned young that it was the wonderful nickname of Early generation USAF Gunships.....
gave me a WHOLE different mental image of a prototype "music video"

The story of my getting dropped on my head was when I was about 4. All winter clothing in 1966 was apparently made with out of nylon. Dad picked me up quick to his shoulder and over I went landing squarely on the cement sidewalk on my brainbox

I remember Eisenhower as President, speaking on the old black and white. I thought the White House was some little bungalow in the country where the president lived.
I remember standing on the slab of a new house my parents bought in 1959. And I remember a vacation we took on the Western Shore of Lake Michigan when I was three years old.
I remember sitting on my Mom's shoulders and seeing John Kennedy speak on the Courthouse steps in 1960 in my home town.
And you can walk on my lawn, because it is covered with dog shit that I haven't scooped in two weeks because of all the snow.

Doubt it. By that time I was engaged to bitch wife #1. We got married in the summer before our senior year. Six months after graduating, I was in the Navy. Six months after that she divorced me. Been married to #2 for forty years last June.
I expect I lusted after Miss Marple's tender freshman flesh tho. I was engaged, not blind.

Miss Marple is still 19, smokin' hot, with a killer bod....as are all Moronettes.

Not so, young man. Some of us are somewhat older (and wiser), smokin' hot, with a killer bod. And wouldn't waste our time with these young fools on a dare.

Oh, and I have a very vivid memory of my Marine cousin Don carrying me on his shoulders at a family picnic. I was a small girl and he was huge by anybody's standards - 6'5", had been a linebacker on the HS football team.
6 months after that, he was killed during Tet. I thought my aunt was going to throw herself in the grave after him.
But she didn't. I ran into her a few weeks ago at the grocery store. In her '90's now, became a widow in her early 40's, lost one son in Vietnam and another to suicide - and there she was, pushing her cart down the aisle with her daughter and granddaughter accompanying her. One tough old bird.

My dad first bowled in leagues at the South Hutch bowling alley. Around '71/72 he got us into junior bowling at Countryside Lanes on east 30th.

My first clear memory is about from I was around that age. Sitting in the grass and dandelions on a warm, sunny summer day in Duluth. Doggeh hanging out with me. Apparently, that dog was something like my guardian angel without me being aware of it...another dog in the hood strayed onto our lawn and was beelining to me in the sandbox in the back yard, and ol' Charlie came around the house full speed and literally dozed the other dog ass over teakettle all the way back to the alley from where it came. Story my mom likes to tell.
