No rabbit, langoustines or prawns, so it's not exactly a paella???
Of course not! This is a SEQUESTER Paella! Substitutions and cutbacks!
The next one will be made with crawdads, starlings, and hominy.

Seafood paella is what we most associate with "paella" but that is only one variety.

Looking doesn't cost anything, and yes there are lots of "models" at the bar.
My son was down there five years ago. He won a trip at Thanksgiving and was in the bar watch an ACC BB game. He got offered coke, marijuana and sex in less than an hour.
Said it wasn't interested and they told him to leave. A gringo that doesn't want to pay to get laid was not welcome.

CPR is a fucking waste of time. OK keep the brain alive till the AED gets there. No Defib, they dead. The number of people CPR saves without the Defib? Like one in 20,000. Some ridiculous number.

CPR, just pushing blood to the brain, it's not going to restart your heart. That pounding on your chest? Just to push the blood to the brain. The breathing into the lungs? Just to keep oxygen in the system.
Get that fucking AED there. If you are in a club or at your office with older people, get a fucking AED. They cost about $1200.
THEY WORK!

Posted by: RoyalOil at March 02, 2013 11:27 AM (VjL9S) This. Note to Jonah Goldberg: Just want to say thanks to you and all the other so-called defenders of liberty and freedom for pointing out so beautifully the numerous reasons why people should flee for their lives from those really mean meanies at CPAC. Their unmitigated gall, as conservatives, to exclude the standard bearers of moderate/liberal Republicanism is just reprehensible. Oh, and one more thing, Jonah. Do not ever write about what Andrew Breitbart means to you again. You obviously don't get that attacking the other side is the object of the game. If you want a big tent, start your own, asshole.

Survived the one mile walkathon and a soccer game with temps in the 30s (and windy), but it wasn't fun.
Girl is asking me what she can make for me out of duct tape. I'm gonna ask for some paella...

When a recipe calls for "cooked chicken breasts", how does it generally mean to be cooked? Sauteed? Poached? Baked? Does it even matter?

But timing is of the essence, and I have wonderful organs. If my heart stops and there is no AED, according to you I'm already hosed. Are you saying there is pressure to not bring an AED?
Not at all. They were more concerned about mass casualty incidents and you get to the hospital, they are swamped. Triage is done.
You going to be lower on the totem pole. Just saying, it was very clear that these guys had seen decisions made taking into account your organ donor status, which I think you never be in the mix.

Paleontologists have found "middens" or concentrations of ammonite shells with mososaur tooth-marks on them, suggesting that the big fellows captured prey out to sea, and brought it back to the nest. I've seen those fossil shells with the toothmarks on them myself; these are big shells, about the diameter of the tires on a small car.

That's because people like Jonah Goldburg want to talk about conservative principles, they don't want to actually institute them or enforce them.

Hate to disillusion you, because the so-called dual-fuel coleman lanterns are able to use either "Coleman Fuel" (AKA "White Gasoline") or unleaded gasoline. They do make a Kerosene version of their liquid fueled lantern, but do not ever, ever put gasoline or Coleman Fuel in it, unless you love to live very dangerously.
When unleaded gasoline became generally available, Coleman made a marketing decision to start calling their white-gas-burning appliances "dual-fueled." Of course, they had always been able to run (for a while, anyway) on leaded gasoline, but would eventually plug up from the combustion deposits, and would slowly poison anyone who breathed the fumes that contained small amounts of vaporized lead.

The common authors are:
Zumdahl
Ebbing and Gammon
Hill and Petrucci
Silberberg
Overby
any of those will work, and there is no need to get the most recent edition, get an older edition and save yourself some money

Son, wants to fire up the Coleman. So I get out the fuel and start to fill it up about ten feet from the campfire. The fumes from the fuel drifted over to the campfire and caught the damn can on fire. I threw it, I was afraid it would explode.
Coleman fuel on fire is like napalm. Some of it when on my tent, burned the fly and the rest spread out in the woods.
Thank god we had dirt and shovel to put it all out, or we would have burned down 2,000 acres.
Coleman fuel is dangerous stuff. Be careful.
