The word "might" should not be there.

This is scandalous.

Yep. The establishment Republican Party paid astronomical amounts of money to a bunch of Beltway buttmunches who are part of the permanent political establishment, who host parties to celebrate Barack Obama taking office, which they call a "thrill", and who casually jet off to Davos for a few days.

A party that was genuinely serious about winning back power would have taken these losers, fired all their worthless asses, destroyed their careers and futures, and driven them weeping into outer darkness, never to return.

That this hasn't happened tells you how unserious the party establishment remains.

By law, television stations offer political candidates advertising rates that are much lower than those offered to other advertisers. Cable companies also offer discounted rates. They aren't supposed to charge one candidate more than another.

Candidates are offered something called Lowest Unit Rate (LUR), which is the lowest rates a station can charge. However, this rate can change greatly based on when an ad is booked and how competitive a market is. Booking earlier always means lower rates than booking it week to week. The downside of booking early is that the competition knows your plans and the element of surprise is gone.

Most of the new debt being created these days (the only way Ben can get money into circulation) is through loans to students being charged exponentially increasing tuition rates. How long can that go on when half of all graduates can't find work?

It will land eventually. And there are only two possible outcomes. Ben runs out of ways to inflate things and forced deleveraging leads to massive wealth destruction and the end of all pensions and savings. Or runaway inflation destroys the dollar and only those with some capacity to barter have any shot at survival. That's it.

Bernanke testified before congress before QE got underway that he was going to pump up the stock market through printing and that the false sense of wealth he created was going to lead to a virtuous cycle where people spent more and got the economy going, which would in turn replace his fake value with actual productive, demand based value.

Here's a hint how that's going. The reported US GDP numbers shrank last quarter (by a negligible amount, but it qualifies as "not growth"). While there are 12 million more people of working age in this country than when Obama took office, there are 4 million fewer people actually working. What's more likely? Ben's plan magically works now when it's only made things worse for four years running, or stock evaluations move to match reality? The latter has consequences for the claims of solvency of pension funds (and that's before getting into the fact that most of them pretend they're getting 8% annual returns on their investments).

And even if you don't like all the "the Fed is an abomination" talk, what about Obamacare? You think all the resources sucked out of useful things in order to pay for Obamacultist health care is going to happen without adverse effects?

7) Non-leftist Americans love the warm, self-affirming, egotist splash in the narcotic jello of American society.

Why should rabid Leftists, who are rabid narcissist fundamentalists, not be loving the almost total American cultural assent to their totalitarian joy?

On some day in the fairly recent past, Americans of all stripes decide to cast the first stone, to become a retributive society. Then we lost the premise of the political debate.

Ba'al is another generic word in arabic it simply means "Master" and was used for a whole host of different religious entities in Arabia. Those entities having little or no theological commonality with "Allah" as defined by Mohammad.

You can say a lot of things. That Mohammad was a false prophet, that he just made up the Quran, that he either promoted violence against other faiths, or lacked the wisdom to prevent it. What cannot be said is that worship to Allah is pairity to worship of Ba'al as biblicaly understood. If you want that look to the hedonists of America.
