— Pixy Misa CNN contributor and current Vice-Chair of the DNC, Donna Brazile, decided to ask the tough questions about Baroness Thatcher.
Okay, what did the #ironlady do to advance Great Britain and the world? Did she leave lasting footprints for women in politics? #justsayin
— Donna Brazile (@donnabrazile) April 8, 2013
NRO's resident Englishman Charles C.W. Cooke had the best response.
Yes, she turned around the country. Yes, she helped defeat the Soviets. Yes, she restored democracy to the Falklands. But what did she do?
— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) April 8, 2013
You have to wonder about the instincts of a person who looks at Thatcher and decides "She didn't do very much" is the best line of attack.

If you look at the list of "accomplished" female pols of the left, you conclude that almost none of them - especially St. Hillary and SanFran Nan - would be on the stage today but for their husbands. But yeah, Baroness Thatcher didn't "leave lasting footprints for women in politics" - because I suppose she was too busy helping to defeat communism and rescuing her country from the ideology of, well, Donna Brazile.

Dear Donna Brazille,
Has the Iron Lady left lasting footprints for women in politics? Why don't we ask our first female President her thoughts on Britain's first female Prime Minister.
What's that? Oh, we haven't had a female President yet? Oh, okay. Nevermind then. I guess Lady Thatcher wasn't that special after all.
Sincerely,
MWR

This context shows that Brazile understands Thatcher's legacy as a "tough lady," but it doesn't refute her truly idiotic questions regarding how Thatcher A) advanced Great Britain, or B) left "lasting footprints" for women in politics.
There's a difference between acknowledging someone's personal qualities of leadership and personality, and acknowledging how those qualities gelled to leave an indelible mark in history. Brazile is admitting the former while denying the latter. It's a sign of intellectual cowardice.

I think this is a pitiful attempt by Donna B to try to be sly. She can say "No I was soliciting comments, I wanted to see what people's opinions of Thatcher were!" But the #justsayin tag seems to give away her true intent.
It's perplexing to me that she said just tweets before that Thatcher was a Role Model to US conservative women but then say she wasn't in the next tweet.
What we're dealing with here is the mind of an irrational idiot basically.

Fuck Obama.
Preezy, Lady Thatcher would have kicked your ass and skinned your scrotum for a handbag had she ever talked to you. As it is, I'm happy she never had the misfortune of having to meet you.

Skinned his scrotum? Objection. Assumes facts not yet in evidence.

Just wymyn parts.
These are the true sexists.

Thatcher would have been the first to call Bammy out on the carpet for letting her gender enter into the conversation. Then she would have given him a sound and thorough dressing down that would have left him hunched over and whimpering.

There can be no liberty unless there is economic liberty.
The Great Lady Thatcher.
The JEF does not understand this quote. He takes liberties with economics, and economies

The JEF wouldn't understand anything Lady Thatcher ever said. "This is no time to go wobbly" would be completely lost on Preezy Knockknees.

In other words, the only thing praiseworthy about Mrs. Thatcher is that she was a woman.

I am in politics because of the conflict between good and evil, and I believe that in the end good will triumph.

If you lead a country like Britain, a strong country, a country which has taken a lead in world affairs in good times and in bad, a country that is always reliable, then you have to have a touch of iron about you.
The Great Lady Thatcher

Hey, Preezy Fuckface. How about this. Instead of the glass ceiling bullshit, how about: "She was an inspiration to all free people, whose leadership helped ensure the defeat of Soviet communism and the liberation of those trapped behind the Iron Curtain."
Eh? Eh?
But no. No, then you'd be admitting that communism is BAD, and you can't say that, can you? Because you're not the first black President, you worthless skinsack. You're the first RED President.

I read that Chelsea Clinton puff piece in Parade Magazine yesterday; basically they anointed her as the once (and future!!11!!1) daughter of a president, wink wink nudge nudge. And we wonder why we are losing low information voters, be they young or geriatric readers of a supposedly innocuous newspaper insert.
RIP Maggie Thatcher. <3 I'm so glad the smearing of her name has seemed to die down with time and her true legacy is shining through. May she inspire future conservatives and help, through her example, return true conservative principles to politics.

Her footprints are considerably larger than the propaganda artist known as Donna Brazile.
Can anyone remember her ever contributing to the improvement of anything? I didn't think so.
Ms. Brazile, I suggest you sit down with "Clueless Debbie" of the ratsnest hairdo and share some deep thought, if you can steal any from someone with a functional brain.
