— Ace I know I added this as an update to a previous thought, but Fredosso has some more thoughts.
Of course, this isnÂ’t just about Reid or his habit of spreading demonstrably false and defamatory rumors about people he doesnÂ’t agree with. This is about AmericaÂ’s political conversation. It has devolved now into a bunch of white liberals using ObamaÂ’s race as an excuse for his record. All dissent was once patriotic. All dissent is now racist.
I would add this: The Corrupt Corporate Media is always on-patrol for what they deem to be distastefully demagogic statements by, say, Ted Cruz, and yet Harry Reid, who is, oddly enough, a prissy thug, and makes repulsively stupid statements all the time, is still considered by them to be One of the Good Guys.
I mean, he even supported the #WarOnWomen (pro-life, supposedly) until his Party needed him not to be.

Its because most people tune it out. In normal circumstances, this is one of the best signs of health in our republic; indeed the less the government impacts you, the less you pay attention.
The problem is that how much government interferes with people's lives is obscured.

BTW, there was a report about a progressive outfit that has formed an army of "macacas" to track and film Republicans to build a database of opposition research for quick dissemination. This wasn't standard political prep material. It's evolved to Stage 3 (1 - old-school paper; 2 - new school digital; 3 - hyper digital).
So the JournoList 2.0 will be well supplied if not actual participants in the data mining.

I got called a racisty racist for opposing His Excellency once. I countered with this: "OK, let's take the Keystone Pipeline as an example. I think it should be approved because the country could use the jobs and Washington could use the tax revenue, seeing as how we're in great debt today.
The President opposes it. How am I a racist for that?"
Dead silence was the result. This is so simple even I can counter it effectively, yet teh Pubbies can't even say anything at all in refutation. I don't understand why it's so fucking difficult for those wimps to stand up and say that these racist smears have no basis in reality and point out the Left's hypocrisy in making them. The Leftards will shut up quite easily once confronted.
We are so terribly screwed...

I learned a great deal at the museums. For example, I was unaware that America was a majority black country, and that AAs were responsible for any good thing that ever happened here. Did you know they won WWII?
The people like Edison, Carnegie, Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, and so on are given a distinctly secondary role, if there's any mention of them at all.
And there is an exhibit about, I kid you not, how Indian Americans shaped America. Dot, not feather.
But pep you ask, how could there be a PC slant to the Natural History museum? Foolish person. There is a nice wing dedicated to African cultures. What that has to do with dinosaurs, elephants, gems, and oceans I have no idea.
It was absolutely infuriating. Those places used to one of my favorite things to do, and now they are just another PC shrine. Honest conversation my ass.

No. People should take responsibility for their animals. Most don't. When they get tired of them they just take them to the pound or drop them off somewhere to become somebody elses problem. Getting your head blown off is probably instant and painless. Though as I said, distasteful and probably sick. He made a sick toy out of the animal. Thats his mental problem. They won't, it will be mocha candidates from here on out, until it doesn't work anymore.

I am going to a lesbian celebration of their wedding being legal ceremony thing tonight. It is at a pub and their invite said "casual". Do you think nice blue jeans with a sparkly purple tank top would work, or are blue jeans too casual and I should wear dress pants? If dress pants, is black inappropriate?

And an old favorite:
Dallas Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

The NRA thought Senator BadTouch's position as a "pro-gun" Donk majority leader would continue to keep crappy bills off the floor as it had in the past. They took a gamble and they were wrong. They lacked the imagination to see what would happen is something really, really bad happened and The Pederast was forced to choose sides.
For the record, I think the NRA leadership should have knew better. Of course electing any Donk - even a "pro-gun" Donk, is going to have secondary side effects down the line in the form of appointees and judges.
At this time, I do believe that the NRA has learned it's lesson about where its bread is buttered. Their performance post Sandy Hook was quite good, IMO. Only, time will tell if the lesson sticks.
