8 Oh sure....fix the headline and now my comment makes no sense.

May you have the same picks as Bambi, DiT.

9 The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded $1.5 million to study biological and social factors for why “three-quarters” of lesbians are obese and why gay males are not, calling it an issue of “high public-health significance.”

10 Quick! Cut away from the camera on fluffy's comment #2!

11 And by "made it to the NCAA", I mean they won their conference. So I'm just hoping.

Posted by: Tobacco Road at March 11, 2013 06:24 PM (4Mv1T)

12 No cheerleaders. Haruumph.

16 I'm putting all my money on The Hustlin' Owls of Oregon Tech! Not sure if they even field a basketball team, but how can you root against a team called the Hustlin' Owls?

Posted by: Truman North at March 11, 2013 06:27 PM (+JzGj)

17 K-State is co Big 12 Champs in hoops. K-State is co Big 12 Champs in football. Some disappointments along the way but a great year for the Cats.

Posted by: teej at March 11, 2013 06:28 PM (d4o2E)

18 FOR THE RECORD I fucked up the headline...

Now THIS is a noble human bean right here. To own up to something like this in front of THIS audience. Would it be that our betters in DC could learn from his fine example. And I will NOT be interested to see what President Basketball Jones brackets look like.

Oh, was that racist? So sorry.

I love how pixy points out the misspellings, but fails to suggest an alternative. If it knows the word is spelled wrong, surely it knows the correct spelling. At some points on this blog if you go to Bing/Google/et al, to look it up, the thread will be stomped three times before you get back.

Posted by: Tobacco Road at March 11, 2013 06:37 PM (4Mv1T)

24 But I still wuv it here.

On Firefox, you can right click on a misspelled word and it gives you the correct spelling.  I imagine all the browsers have something similar.

30 I filled in the brackets and suddenly a cosmic fistula opened up and sucked my picks into a vast void that surrounds planet Xena. All is lost, all is lost due to the sequester.

40 At the morning press conference, Jay Carney announced that, yes, President Obama had filled out his NCAA brackets, but due to the sensitive nature of his picks, they could not be revealed to the public. Mr. Carney explained that if the Presidents picks became public, it would cause massive disruptions to the betting houses. When pressed about it, Jay stated that the picks had been examined by a select group of bracketologists who would verify it's accuracy after the tourament was completed.

According to Drudge, the chances of picking a perfect NCAA bracket is 1 in 9.2 quintillion. Therefore, none of you palooka's have a chance in hell of getting it right. So what I plan on doing, is not picking anything you all do. A little 'back of the envelope' math suggests my chances of picking a perfect bracket will still be about 1 in 9.2 quintillion.

It was a good idea though...but large numbers, science, etc.
