Female DNA Found on Boston Marathon Bomb Components

There could be other explanations apart from the obvious one, of course.

Female DNA was found bomb components used in the attack this month on the Boston Marathon, a source familiar with the investigation confirmed to Fox News, though the source cautioned that it is too early to draw hard conclusions from that evidence.
"No one should expect that the investigation is over," the source told Fox News in confirming the development first reported by the Wall Street Journal, adding that it is just one piece of evidence that investigators are looking at.

I think it was from the bomb they threw at the cops out the car window when they were evading police after they shot the MIT cop.

The lid on that bomb pooed off when it it the pavement but it did not detonate. There would be lots of good evidence from that bomb. I think they got some pipe bombs from the car jawbreaker abandoned after running over his brother speed bump that night.

Same bombers, but not the bombs that went off at the finish line.

134 There is always more to these stories, but this information leads to one big question -- Why would they release this info? If the mother (or anyone that knew the bastards) got dna on something, it would be very difficult to prove it was not incidental and that the dna was related to building a bomb. However, The best case is to interrogate the suspect, get them to disavow any knowledge of "so called pressure coookers" and to say during interrogation that they never even saw these components. Then, once they have taken a position you prove at a minimum that they lied during interrogation since their dna is on the component. This is pretty standard, and why you never say anything during interrogation. Not a single word. So why let this info out? do they have so much evidence against the female that this approach is not needed? was it a leak? are they incompetent?
