— Slublog Well, isn't this interesting.
Among the other revelations, on Aug. 4, 2011, staffers in the IRS’ Rulings and Agreements office “held a meeting with chief counsel so that everyone would have the latest information on the issue.”Hey, maybe the IRS is just defining "low-level" differently than you or I would:On Jan, 25, 2012, the criteria for flagging suspect groups was changed to, “political action type organizations involved in limiting/expanding Government, educating on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, social economic reform/movement,” the report says.
I know when I say "low level employee" I mean the chief counsel for the whole federal agency.

The present narrative on Benghazi which I caught a few seconds of while channel surfing by MSNBC, was that there were problems with how much the CIA and State Dept. knew, but that the Republicans have politicized this now and made it much worse, because , you know....
So now I wonder how this IRS problem can be the Republican's fault, because the sequester has retroactively made the Obama Regime stupid in 2012.
I think that the most appalling part isn't that the Obama Regime had let it be known with the government that the IRS was to do this (although that is plenty appalling and criminal), it's that the Mainstream Bullshit Media really doesn't care, because they so eagerly carry Barry's water, and so eagerly lie for him.

"The IRS agent told a Z STREET representative that the applications of some of those Israel-related organizations have been assigned to “a special unit in the D.C. office to determine whether the organization’s activities contradict the Administration’s public policies.”
* * * * * *
The Jewish Press reports:
The IRS even took the position that because Israel is a country “where terrorism happens,” the service was justified in taking additional time to determine whether Z STREET was involved with funding terrorism.
The first hearing in Z STREET v IRS is reportedly scheduled for July.

I really don't know how much Boehner and the House leadership can do, even if they were brilliant or just really smart and shrewd (which they aren't).
The Obama Regime has gamed a lot of the political moves of the last five years out, and their constant trump card to any play has always been the ability of the Bullshit Media to cover them up if something went askew. Obama and his cronies can ALWAYS count on the Media lying for them and creating doubt in the minds of the public. Likewise, they can always create a great deal of doubt with whatever the Republicans say or do, no matter if they are 100% right on a matter or not.

I had to laugh when the reporter asked ole Jay about the IRS/Tea Party issue yesterday and "he could not answer as he had not yet spoken to the preznit."
You know, I would think even if I were saying those words, repeatedly, that I would start feeling le stoopid. To sum: for most press conferences, no matter what the breaking news is---and there could be a N.Korea nuke on the way, Jay never has an answer as he has never spoken to the preznit and they have no idea how they are going to spin it.
I mean, can you imagine Tony Snow or Ari Fleischer or Dana Perino doing this, repeatedly, for the entire time they were Press Secretaries? I did not think it was possible but I think Jay makes Robert Gibbs look sort of Mensa quality. Jay just looks down at his notes, which are little squiggles and smiley faces on Starbucks napkins or his boogers in a pattern, blinks, and gazes myopically through his glasses and replies he does not know. Heck, I could do that!

Buried in the more than 800 pages of the bipartisan legislation is language mandating the creation of the innocuously-named “photo tool,” a massive federal database administered by the Department of Homeland Security and containing names, ages, Social Security numbers and photographs of everyone in the country with a driver’s license or other state-issued photo ID.
Employers would be obliged to look up every new hire in the database to verify that they match their photo.
This piece of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act is aimed at curbing employment of undocumented immigrants. But privacy advocates fear the inevitable mission creep, ending with the proof of self being required at polling places, to rent a house, buy a gun, open a bank account, acquire credit, board a plane or even attend a sporting event or log on the internet. Think of it as a government version of Foursquare, with Big Brother cataloging every check-in.

And Obama, cannot be held accountable by anyone but the Democrat controled Senate.

The OTHER thing Nixon had was both a House that was willing and able to impeach him, and a Senate which was willing and able to convict and remove him. Because the Democrats had the numbers both places to accomplish the full impeach-and-remove doomsday sequence even over GOP opposition. That's why Nixon resigned. If he'd stayed, he was toast.
The GOP has the numbers in the House to get the job done of impeaching Obama.
In the Senate? To convict and remove? Fuhgeddaboudid. Obviously.
If the GOP had not blundered so horribly in the last two Senate election cycles, it might have the numbers in the Senate. Instead, we had Todd Akin. Richard Mourdock. Sharron Angle. Christine O'Donnell. The whole utterly ridiculous parade of utterly ridiculous candidates who shouldn't have even been able to stand for sewer commissioner in East Resume Speed, much less stand for the U.S. Senate on the Republican ticket. Who all flushed away otherwise winnable Senate races. And with it, potential control of the Senate.
Now we reap the whirlwind of our own incompetence as a party and of our own crummy candidates.
The stuff that is coming out about Obama is bad, make no mistake. This stuff isn't Lewinsky blowjob bad. This stuff is Watergate bad. It's page by page Watergate identical, down to the use of IRS as a political weapon and down to the written "enemies list".
This is the kind of stuff that genuinely does merit removing a President over his objections. But we simply DO NOT HAVE THE NUMBERS IN THE SENATE to pull it off. No chance. That's the real difference between the Nixon crisis and this one.
Going to hit the Val-U-Rite early and heavy tonight. I'm thinking dual IV drip.

Did you know the IRS under Kennedy audited Nixon three times before the 1962 California gubernatorial election? The field office kept telling Washington there was nothing and the field office was told to keep digging.
Read what Nixon has to say about the media bias he had to contend with. It could be said by any Republican today.

I'm not defending Herbert Hymenhopper, but what exactly did the Bush Justice Department do about the credit card fraud in Obama's 2008 campaign?
Justice didn't have the jurisdiction over the FEC.
The FEC, not the Department of Justice, has the statutory authority to interpret theFederal Election Campaign Act (“FECA” or the “Act”) and FEC’s own regulations. See 2U.S.C. §§ 437c(b)(1)
