Education is bad for your health.

How hard would it be to do that here in the US? Not very.

5 The body count from global jihad in recent weeks including Kenya, Nigeria, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Philippines, and elsewhere has been in the thousands I reckon.   Supposedly there are dozens of hostages at present in the Philippines and over 20 security forces killed.   Something like  60,000 people had to leave.  The Syrian town with the ancient Christians, Maalula,   is a ghost town now, ringed by  our  allies  the  Sunni snipers.

The Nigerian attack almost sounds like jihadi frat boys high on khat.  None of the preplanning that was seen at the mall attack.

11 9 No one seems to be covering the Philippine Army wiping out about 200 Islamic militant recently. My BIL is a Navy pilot. Used to fly P-3's. One of his deployments he spent time over there. They would fly over terrorist camps, radio back the coordinates and whatever info they could pick up. Circle back a little while later and see what the Filipino Army had left standing. Usually nothing. The Nigerian attack almost sounds like jihadi frat boys high on khat. None of the preplanning that was seen at the mall attack. Posted by: Anna Puma (+SmuD) at September 29, 2013 05:29 PM (JaA49) Military uniforms, knowledge of the layout of the campus, knew which were male and which female. Sounds like a decent amount of thought and effort.

12 Most of the dead are Muslims.

It was all fun and games for Muslims when al-Qaeda was bringing down the World Trade Center, but now all the groups that the majority of Muslims secretly supported are biting them in the ass.

With machine guns and hand grenades.

Oh well. Hope they work it out.

16 Do Muslims have something in their "Holy" book that forbids attacking people who have the ability to defend themselves?  Because they sure do spend a lot of time killing people who have no idea they're about to be killed, and have no way of preventing it.

I dream of a day when a ten thousand foot wall  will surround each and every Muslim country with no doors in or out.  Let them fucking wallow in their feces eternally and let the rest of us live in relative peace.

21 Did Obama ever get out there and condemn the terrorism at the Nairobi shopping mall at all? A couple Americans were killed, did he even say anything? Or was he too busy villainizing Republicans? Seriously! And will he even breathe a mention of this attack on college students? I'm guessing not as it flies in the face of his great lies "the world is a safer place" and "Al Qaeda is on the run." Too bad we don't have any kind of media that's doing their job these days.

Posted by: runningrn at September 29, 2013 01:48 PM (PLOz8)

22 I am not denying their 'skill' in murdering sleeping students.  But compared to the amount of preplanning and preparedness that went into the mall attack, this group is a bunch of jihadi frat boys.  There are different levels of competence as these two groups show.  Even cells in the same terror organization can display different levels of skills and thus will select targets based upon that.

Over on Blackfive Vet66 had a comment about the idiot football player who dissed the military.  It applies to our campuses too well since they are full of sheep like Breivak found.

They walk among us. Undisciplined, unfocused beyond their smart phone, walking soft targets in a world where evil lurks, unskilled, unmotivated, living in a Hollywood inspired "la la land" justified by their educator, elders in school who rewrite inconvenient history that doesn't support their narrative.

Super soft targets don't really need extensive planning and prep.  I day wandering around making like a student was probably all they needed.

33 >>>> Do Muslims have something in their "Holy" book that forbids attacking people who have the ability to defend themselves?>>>>

No. They just really, really suck at waging war against armed opponents. The Israelis once defeated the armed forces and expeditionary forces of eight Muslims nations simultaneously.

At the Second Battle of Fallujah, we lost about 95 and killed at least 1500 of theirs. In Afghanistan the kill ratio is 36 to one in our favor. Al-Shabaab--the ones who just carried out the mall slaughter--had their asses handed to them by the African Union troops in Somalia.

Now that we have so many portable video cameras, we can see how insurgents fight (horribly), and we can see how the Arab armies fight (horribly). I saw a video of a Syrian armored assault on a building with three tanks and two APCs. The commander was saying over the radio , "Achmed, move forward one meter. Khalid, move back-back-back-back-back-stop! Rashid, fire! Achmed, now move back one meter."

He micromanaged the entire operation. It was pitiful.

The best thing I ever read about brave mujahedin was the story of Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of the Mumbai attack. He's the one seen smiling as he wanders around with his weapon.

He was cornered by the Indian police, and an officer who ran out of bullets charged him, holding the barrel of Kasab's weapon until the other cops could subdue him. That officer was killed. When Kasab was captured, he screamed for medical attention, shouting, "I don't want to die! Please don't let me die!"

During the trial, he said, "Our big brother India has so much and we in Pakistan have so little. The attack was just to teach India a lesson."

After he was sentenced to death, he wrote a letter to the judge, telling him that he'd learned his lesson and there was no need to hang him. He just wanted to go home now and get on with his life.

When the Indian executioners came for him, he fought, kicked, screamed, cried, and begged. He shouted that it was unfair. They hanged him November 21, 2012.

I laughed when I read that.

40 God save us from this demonic religion. I'm from Nigeria, but thankfully from the majority Christian south. They've been burning churches in the north since I was a kid, but this is a whole other level. It really is dangerous to live as a non-Muslim in the North. They don't even consider Yoruba (a southern ethnic group) Muslims (who really are peaceful "moderate" Muslims who don't cause any trouble) to be real Muslims and will include them in their carnage of infidels. Ugh.

Plus, Africa. Do you really suppose that rural ag schools in Africa have the same "Studies" issues we have here? Think those kids were on mom and dad money, or Pell grants, partying? This has not been my experience with African tech-school students. Although I'm sure someone has a story.

Another article says they were almost all Muslims.

"Boko Haram" means "Western Education is Forbidden."

The good thing about that is such a group will be absolutely helpless when it finally has to face a First World military force. Also, these fucks use the Internet. Unless they're using a special Muslim tin-can-and-string version built in Nigeria, they're total hypocrites.

47 >>>>Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! They need to be publicly emasculated. They need to have their martyrdom sullied.>>>>

In World War II, there was tons of footage of German "supermen" surrendering in tears. We broadcast it specifically to show the public that these were only people, and they could be defeated.

Remember when Tom Hanks put both feet in his mouth by saying the war in Europe was justified but the war in the Pacific wasn't, because in the latter case we were simply trying to exterminate people for being different?

That's the "thinking" today. We can't show brown-skinned or black enemies in tears because the Tom Hankses of the nation will shriek in outrage at how cruel we're being to the cute, harmless little fellas.

I've read a lot of Tom Kratman's fiction at Baen Books.  He postulates several different islamic dystopias in his books.

He writes them as a caution and to remind us that if we become like these islamic maniacs we will lose part of our souls.  The vicious actions his characters take destroy their sanity.

Richard Fernandez at Belmont Club / PJ Media has another cautionary tale called the Three Conjectures.

That is why I think we need to fight back hard now, before the horrific actions in these stories become logical and inevitable.  Otherwise, we may "win" and potentially lose our humanity, and become like our islamic enemies.

We don't have to gouge out their eyes, castrate them, etc. We just have to wage merciless conventional war on them, the way the Israelis have done. Ever wondered why Hezbollah hasn't done a thing to Israel since 2006? It's because the Israelis mopped the earth with them. The world press says, "Just surviving made Hezbollah the winner!" Sure. Sure.

Read up on Operation Cast Lead in Gaza. It's unbelievable. The Israelis went up against EVERYTHING in the jihadi arsenal: IEDs, EFPs, RPGs, human shields, booby-trapped buildings, etc., and in three weeks of ferocious urban combat, the Israelis lost 13 KIA while killing as many as 1000 Hamas.

Here's the best photo of Hamas ever taken, courtesy the IDF. What the Israelis did was tell people they knew to be double agents that there would be no attack, so Hamas went back into their camps, and BOOM! Say hello Mr. Beehive Artillery Shell and all his friends.

73 "Boko Haram" means "Western Education is Forbidden." That's a common mistranslation, originally intended to push the idea that Boko Haram is merely [over]reacting to Western imperialism, trying to prevent cultural destruction, and so on. But "boko" doesn't mean "education" or "Western education". It's a loan word from English. It's the word "book", adjusted for local pronunciation. "Boko Haram" literally means "Books are Sinful".
