James O'Keefe vs. Piers Morgan, Robert DeNiro
— Ace

Posing as a group called "Act Against Arms," they seek signatures for a petition to take guns out of all future movies... and all old movies, too.

No one's willing to take Obama's line -- if there's anything we can do to save one child's life, we must do it -- literally, at least not when it's their own ox being gored.

3 and shouldn't O'Keefe have a regular slot for specials on FOX? If I were a liberal, I'd hate to think what this guy could do with some real funding (hint hint if anyone from the evil Koch Brothers empire is out there.)

6 You know....

...the CIA should look into hiring O'Keefe to run some "jobs" or "actions" or "pieces of work" for them.  He seems to be quite good at this kind of stuff.  And having Hannah f'n Giles (whom ace could have met and taken a pudding cup picture with but he was too chicken-ass to do it!!!!!!) as "backup" couldn't hurt either.

Hannah Giles dressed up like Black Widow from Avengers....mmm mmmm mmmm.

At a "workshop" for the film 42 in the State Dining Room of the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama told the assembled guests that "this is your house, too." "I want to make sure that you all know how welcome you are here in this house, because the truth is we do these things -- we make sure that we do these workshops so that you all know that this is your house, too," Obama told the guests. "So we want you to make yourselves at home.  We want you to feel good and relaxed and learn and ask questions, okay?" So, any of you faggot Hollywood Clowns don't agree, the Secret Service and IRS pay you visit.......MoFo's. The White House is currently not allowing the public to tour or access the White House. Only invited guests are allowed inside because this is Mine and Barry's house MoFo's, not yours.................

At a speech this morning at the White House to outline a new science initiative, President Barack Obama named himself "Scientist-in-Chief." "IÂ’m glad IÂ’ve been promoted Scientist-in-Chief," Obama said to laughter at the White House. "Given my grades in physics, IÂ’m not sure itÂ’s deserving.  But I hold science in proper esteem, so maybe that gives me a little credit." Obama said he brought together a lot of smart people, which would help grow the eocnomy. "Today IÂ’ve invited some of the smartest people in the country, some of the most imaginative and effective researchers in the country -- some very smart people to talk about the challenge that I issued in my State of the Union address:  to grow our economy, to create new jobs, to reignite a rising, thriving middle class by investing in one of our core strengths, and thatÂ’s American innovation," said Obama. Ideas are what power our economy.  ItÂ’s what sets us apart.  ItÂ’s what America has been all about.  We have been a nation of dreamers and risk-takers; people who see what nobody else sees sooner than anybody else sees it.  We do innovation better than anybody else -- and that makes our economy stronger.  When we invest in the best ideas before anybody else does, our businesses and our workers can make the best products and deliver the best services before anybody else." Obama then explained his proposal: "So the founders of Google got their early support from the National Science Foundation.  The Apollo project that put a man on the moon also gave us eventually CAT scans.  And every dollar we spent to map the human genome has returned $140 to our economy -- $1 of investment, $140 in return.  Dr. Collins helped lead that genome effort, and thatÂ’s why we thought it was appropriate to have him here to announce the next great American project, and thatÂ’s what we're calling the BRAIN Initiative.  I have spoken...so it is said, so it is written, so it is done.... The economy is growing at 30% yearly now..........

"The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific technological elite"

All in all, this is a nothingburger. The left has the narrative. Words to the contrary are becoming lost more quickly than ever. Soon our views will become totally extinct in the broadcast universe.

128 He's been mailing it in for a long time. DeNiro and Pacino both. But movie acting isn't really acting. It's either portraying yourself or a specifically-crafted version of yourself. It's hard to portray different characters because the camera is so close and if you're well-known, it's difficult to keep that 4th wall in place. I'd say Gary Oldman is the most prominent name to do it well today. A couple of decades ago it was Dustin Hoffman, but he's never in anything worth watching these days.

We got the Ellery Queen mystery series from Netflix. The boy spawn was sitting, staring in open mouthed wonder at the possibility that the people on a tv show were smoking cigs and were actually the good guys. This kid just turned 18 and never seen a character in a tv show smoke cigarettes.

The complete lack of political correctness in that old movie "Murder by Death" had him rolling around laughing while gasping out the phrase "that is horrible, Mom" every 3.5 minutes.

He did star as Dracula opposite Keanu Reeves.  Of course he only had to out act Reeves so no big deal.

I say that with the acknowledgement that I not only like but love 90% of all of Reeves movies.  He knows how to pick a movie.

Casting call was held at 6:00 a.m sharp, so lots of half wits got up early that day to get a prime spot in line.

269 "Posing as a group called 'Act Against Arms,' they seek signatures for a petition to take guns out of all future movies... and all old movies, too."

Time to take this one beyond agitprop. Time to grab these clowns where it hurts, and not let go. Time for Hollyweird to face an actual, for-real threat to its bottom line over its gun hypocrisy.

The courts have repeatedly held you can't tell a moviemaker or game developer that they can't have certain content in what they produce. That's prior restraint on free speech.

However, the courts have also repeatedly held that you ABSOLUTELY CAN have enforceable limits on providing certain types of entertainment content to those under a particular age.

So, it's time for the GV rating on movies, television and games. GV for Gun Violence. Any gun violence. Even a gun being brandished threateningly without use. (Since people do get prosecuted for that in real life.)

GV rating? Absolutely no one under age 21 admitted. Not mature enough yet to handle demon liquor? Then also not mature enough yet to face the soul-shattering and psyche-warping influence of graphic gun violence. That's for grownups only from now on. Rated GV, adults only.

Put this in a House GOP gun control bill. Insist that it be built into any measure that the House GOP sign on to from now on. And watch Hollyweird absolutely shit themselves. Also watch a bunch of liberals accustomed to reliable and abundant Hollyweird campaign money also shit themselves.

Because gun violence _sells_. Sells big. Hollyweird know it. And they're shameless hypocrites about it, as O'Keefe just proved again.

273 way the hell O/T   If anyone else was wishing to spend our money on a brain mapping project, which really might lead to some phenomenally beneficial results for those of us getting older, I would be cheering. As it is, with the BO behind it, my paranoia meter is bouncing on the peg. The sobBO gives me the creeps and I have just enough imagination to be able to envision bad uses for the results of that effort.

274 My favorite is the FB post from the guy that doesn't own a gun, will never own a gun and probably lives where it's even illegal for him to have a gun saying he's got no problem with universal background checks if it will save the life of one child.

That's like a white guy proudly proclaiming they can't make him sit at the back of the bus.

Yeah, he's the stupid lib I keep 'cause you gotta have them around. You gotta let this stupid roll off you back like water off a duck's.

The one time I did respond to his stupid was when he threw out that "Teacher's don't do it for the money" thing. I said, "So, they'll work for free?"
He got all tolerant and civilized. By which I mean he started throwing f-bombs.

They make millions off of portraying gun violence.

But instead, they're being hypocrites and trying to have it both ways.

We've been here a while.  We know building inspectors.  Sheriffs.  Licensing agents for the counties.  Hell, we grew up with them.  They don't take to hippies, either.

There's the east coast Italian Mafia, then there's the Cowboy Mafia.  Permits are hard to get around here.  City council members' kids don't make football teams when things go south.  You want pressure, hippies?  Want this state?  Well, pack a lunch fuckers.

310 "Blame the dumbass. There, I done said it." Plenty of dumbass to go 'round, running the gamut from organized crime that runs the show to the lamebrains insisting there's no hill worth defending. btw, again, O'Keefe found the 'only' logical Hollywood voice, generously gifting good advice, like a needle in the haystack. tangonine, as if propaganda, educational curriculum and training do not impact the person's mind and influence public opinion. If there were no effect, there'd be no advertising. To say that movies, tv, games, classes, relations, books, ideas or years of experience have no bearing on a person's mindset is ignorant. Rather, argue what the impact of stimuli is per individual, age, tribe, region or era. Responsibility, each for one's own actions, I agree with you; that is the traditional point within society. And until the 1960s, The Golden Rule was applied rather universally, just as all the world's major religions teach it. We are each responsible to build our better nature and to do good in life. Where the law of liberty is concerned, teachers and advertisers bear the heavier judgment, and judges bear the heaviest. People should refrain from seeking to be the social leader and the propagandist (Book of James). Finally, to offend innocence or sabotage integrity, the offender would be better off dead than to destroy what is pure in others (millstone/neck/water). For what it's worth, "Art for its own sake" is just another 20th Century bluff, like Schoenberg's serial music, that led to a dead-end. (Ask Boulez) Sure, for its own sake. As if that means squat aside from its own limited sake.

If Lanza fired 154 rounds from his bushmaster. They found 3 empty 30-round magazines, so that is 3 X 30 = 90. The magazine he had had 15 rounds, so assuming he shot 15 rounds that would be 90 + 15 = 105 rounds.

Where did the other  49 (154-105) rounds come from?
