123 Wait,  this is not making sense....I thought Brewer hated   anything Obama touched.  But she loves Obamacare?  She fought so hard to get the Arizona   Law and   now she is going  try to   expand Medicaid  for  even more people and then  all those she has fought against?   Is she up for re-election or something? The American political system used to be predicated on the theory that all politicians were either out-right whores, or potential whores that hadn't gotten the right offer yet.

Under Obama, there is an alternate theory that the remaining politicians (or their family members) have engaged in highly questionable activities in their past and someone now has really good documentation (pics or it didn't happen) and has reasoned with them persuasively to reconsider their political positions.

133 My guess is there's big money involved. Brewer probably has some investment or job lined up that will pay off big time. It's too bad we don't have any "investigative journalists" to look into her contacts since she's doing exactly what they want her to do. She's going to get rich off of this. Or richer. Cut off her check.  Stop paying her, if the Arizona Constitution allows it.  Shut down her expense account, etc.

DO something.  Up the bet until she's willing to talk sense - but don't bluff.  She's not.

135 Best strategy is to open the ENTIRE budget for debate, especially the parts already agreed upon, and bring up every detail and counter-argument you can on every item. She wants a special legislative session on the budget? Give her what she wants, good and hard.
