5 In OT Pats had the ball first, had to punt.Jets drove down, tried a 56 yard FG,it missed but there was personal foul.Patriot player pushed a teamate into the line.Retry from 41 was good,Jets win.

I do feel good about a couple of players: Vincent Jackson scored 45 points today and Ryan Matthews scored 32. Unfortunately, I forgot to switch Matthews off the bench and so fat load of good it did me.

Posted by: BCochran1981 - Credible Hulk at October 20, 2013 04:31 PM (GEICT)

31 They interviewed the Jets kicker. It's a new rule because teams were lining defensive linemen 3or4 in a row, like a train, to get at the center. About 1200 pounds of rushing men on one player.

Posted by: Thunderb at October 20, 2013 04:31 PM (zOTsN)

32 A bit too much Petyon hero worshipping going on right now.

If you recall, he got cut in the off-season and it was never mentioned by the team.  He's the only reason there's a new stadium and the greatest athlete in the team's history (I won't say in Indianapolis, because Reggie Miller).  He had to be acknowledged, which did they did with a 60-second video (or approximately half the seconds Marvin Harrison got).

And now that's done, and he's gonna get rung up by Robert Mathis at least once tonight.

Yes.  Peyton doesn't like the roof open because he's a perfectionist and his passing game is based in large part on timing plays, rather than "winging it" like a lot of quarterbacks do.  So on a windy night, he'd demand that the roof stay closed and they'd do what he wanted.  So of course, since tonight is windy and cold and now he's the visiting QB, they've left the roof open, just to screw with him.

Heh.

Posted by: Severe Conservative riding Orca at October 20, 2013 10:04 PM (v6hyJ) Denver is a windy cold city, too. Peyton should be used to it.

116 I guess Andrew Luck got a little sick of hearing about Peyton Manning this week.

119 The irony if the Colts knock Peyton's perfect season down to number 2 in the AFC West.

Probably best to avoid a conflict while the betas and gammas who would normally defend you are obviously not here to be your white knights.

Anyways it's nice to know you were thinking of me. {{{}}}

125 And my hero Holliday underperforming tonight, too. There just aren't enough toasters around this place. Going to the store, brb.

126 Halfway thru the game thread, and I think Dave in TX has only mentioned once how bad the NFC East sucks.

Slacker.

Might I say in defense of the Cows, that they are the model of year-on-year consistency. They've got 8-8 dead in their sights, and neither rain, snow, nor a smoking-hot 4-3 start will turn them left or right from that path. Or as Rick said to Ilsa, "We'll always have December."

Not my fault the rest of the NFC East is snorting the lighter fluid.

129 holy moly colts beginning to crush the broncos

130 Nice pict, Heather. Impressionistic, too!

Posted by: artisanal 'ette at October 20, 2013 06:59 PM (IXrOn)

131 Yes, a bit of a butt whippin' bein' put on the Broncos. Peyton gets sacked and a penalty on top of it. The Colts defense is ......fired up. That's what is winning the game for them.

Posted by: Severe Conservative riding Orca at October 20, 2013 07:02 PM (v6hyJ)

132 Heading to bedroom tv. So, I can crash at end of game. Night all.

133 Couple of injuries taking their toll on Indy D. But I have toasters now, so I'm prepared.

Posted by: Oedipus, determined to RIDE THE DECLINE at October 20, 2013 07:09 PM (Tjkt6)

134 The toasters may remain unmolested through the night?

135 I got retweeted by Sage Rosenfels, who was QB at Iowa State when I was there.  Won their first bowl game in a generation.

My night is made.

HA HA HA HA HA! Thank you, Peyton! Just when the Broncos were in the verge of getting back into the game...

138 Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Posted by: Oedipus, determined to RIDE THE DECLINE at October 20, 2013 07:48 PM (Tjkt6)

139 Did I call it?  Why, yes, I most certainly did.  Not a pick in the last minute of the game, but I hereby declare that I was right, anyway.  THE FACE!

Posted by: Sharkman at October 20, 2013 07:49 PM (8+xjO)

140 Was a pick, but not a crap throw pick. J. Thomas needs blocking work. Results are the same, tho. =)

143

And thank you again, Denver! Coughing up the ball in the red zone and then roughing Luck in the end zone!

How many personal fouls does that make for Denver tonight, anyway? Because at one point they seemed on the verge of total meltdown. Guess they're not used to losing. Bwahahahaha.

Posted by: Wes S. at October 20, 2013 07:59 PM (3CjmV)

144 Roughing was bullshit.

...And that's all, folks. A kneeldown by Indy and it's all over.

Down goes Denver. KC is all alone at the top of the AFC West...and the only undefeated team in the NFL. Bwahahahaha.

151 GG, Indy. Your D stepped up. And your quarterback looks like Samwell Tarly from Game of Thrones. =P
