I said "passed on". I worked in a nursing home and it was heartbreaking to see these old people sit there day in and day out, no company, nothing to live for and they had kids living right there in town.

Ignore him. I'm pretty sure that those numbers are wrong. iirc, when the final poll numbers were looked at a few weeks after the election, the Evangelicals appeared to have turned out for Romney more or less as expected.
The oddity in the religious voters category was that Romney apparently got a couple of percentage points fewer Latter-Day Saints than McCain did. That was a definite "Huh!?" moment for me.

1. Cut the number of damn games, period.
2. Go the soccer route - expand to 174 games and play each team twice. If you're the Yankees, for example, you play 6 games (3 home, 3 away) against every other team. That's it; no unbalanced 19 games for thee but none for me schedule.

Okay.. this bugs me and always has. Why do some doctors and nurses use
the term the patient "expired'? The "patient" wasn't a fucking credit
card. He died, or passed away. He didn't "expire". BUGS. ME.
This term is used so much because there is a lot of death involved with nursing and doctoring and if one wants to discuss that touchy subject terms like "expire" and "coded" are used because most people don't know exactly what those terms allude to. It's tough talking about death, even in the medical world...
