3 Good friends of ours, who own a small business, lost their health insurance yesterday. They own an accounting business, have two middle-school-aged sons, and were happy with their coverage. They sent out an e-mail yesterday that their cost will increase three times what it was.

(and my guess is because Sebilius has told them to shut up, and she has them by the Gonads...).

This is pretty awesome if true. The horse-drawn cart was likely also introduced to China from the west, specifically the Tocharians. I wrote an essay about keeping politics off of FB and it seems to have had an impact as I'm not seeing as much hate in my timeline ... Anywhoo, he posts a rather innocuous but kinda funny comment on preparing for xmas for his kid: OP: It's time for the "meeting with Santa" part of the year. While it's always fun, it would be more fun if it weren't so bloody expensive. So, this is the unbelievable reply he gets from some other friend of his, or maybe family: Comment 1: I detest the commercialization of Christmas. It is a "secular capitalist" holiday. Think about that. What do u think? Comment 2: Don't get me wrong. I had beautiful Christmases as a child. Nothing wrong with the real Christmas. I don't "do" presents. I give them @ other times of the year. Comment 3: Maybe it would be good to teach our children what really matters in life, such as, Family, Friends and Love. (My daughter xxxxx stepmom's daughter just committed suicide this past week @ 41 yrs. old. My daughter told me that it has helped her "put things in perspective" as in, getting her priorities straight.) OP: I'm sorry to hear about the loss Commenter, that's a tough one, sheesh. The top 100 list includes Reason, Althouse, Ace, Beck, NRO, Lew Rockwell, Weekly Standars, American Thinker, Breitbart - basically anybody and everybody who is right-ish. Neocons, paleocons, libertarians, crunchycons, squishcons, RINOs, sportos, motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, and dickheads.
