4 President * The election was in effect stolen. The IRS put a stranglehold on the juggernaut of the 2010 victory. Romney may have been a shit candidate, but the momentum alone should have been enough to elect a fucking ham sammich. And put this together with the NSA and you are entering into third world, banana republic territory. Yet everyone is all jacked off about Snowden. He deserves death for what he did. 9 Hey ACE, have you thought about doing a post on Nick Wallenda? I've been very impressed with his devout Christianity and the way that he is not at all afraid to mention his faith in God at every opportunity. I got to meet him last year when he walked a tightrope over Niagara Falls (what a spectacle!) and was most impressed with how humble and engaging he is, and his forthright Christianity. He mentioned Jesus 69 times last night while crossing the Grand Canyon on a tightrope. The man is not a showman or a stuntman, what he does is pure athleticism. A great athlete and a great Christian. In this day and age, I find his out and proud Christianity to be most refreshing.

I say "yes, but more": The reason there are so many Rs on board with this, why they don't care if you vote D is gerrymandering.

They assume that even if 10% of you start protest voting for the D, they'll still win.

And they will.

No.

If this passes, it's time for a third party, to purposely suck votes from the Rs.

They'll either start listening and acting on our behalf or safe red seats go D.

Either way, we win.

49 The Left is really run for the benefit of white people, it's not surprising that they are the ones that wind up in power. When you're ruled over by a bunch of affluent whites who view the 'lesser classes' as ones they can buy with benefits and programs and who are in need of perpetual help, the rich get richer and the poor stay poor (and in their place). There are token minorities in the power structure, but they're figureheads to deliver the support of their (racially-ordained) groups. There's little surprise that the Segregationist Party has become what it is. It's a friendlier veneer over the same old Jim Crow mentality.

I think that states like Texas will not look kindly upon the feds sending millions of illegals their way in order to flip the voting demographics.

87 Yet everyone is all jacked off about Snowden. He deserves death for what he did. And a thank you for revealing what's being done to We the People.

Posted by: J.J. Sefton at June 24, 2013 09:23 AM

This is the nut of the whole issue: a wrongful act produced a beneficial result, so we should thank Snowden before turning the drug tap to "on."

In contrast, Choom Boy has committed wrongs by the dozen, with absolutely NO beneficial side effects. He deserves a hearty "fuck you!" before his sentence is carried out.

But I'm just talkin' to myself here. Nothing will happen, either to President Historic First© or the treasonous slimes in Congress who are within hours of turning this once-great country into a third-world shithole. Instead, we'll all piss and moan, then jump on Shiny Stuff when it's thrown our way.

And we can dedicate the collapse of the country to eunuchs like the "pundits" at  NRO, "Captain Ed," and do-nothing worthless "Republicans" who are reaching across the aisle to their buddyroos, the Democrats.

156 Obama FamilyÂ’s $100 Million Trip To Africa Among Most Expensive Presidential Trips EverÂ… The dilemma for Obama is that todayÂ’s economically struggling Americans may not be as forgiving when their president incurs big costs for trips that include not only official business but also touristy junkets. Members of Congress and conservative commentators have already made these points, including Rep. George Holding (R-N.C.). The main problem will be that if Obama looks self indulgent, he will lose credibility as a president who says he is in tune with Middle America. Obama will be accompanied by his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha. Their trip to Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania runs from Wednesday to July 3. Sequester? What sequester?

162 On illegal immigration, I thnk it should be made explicit what is implicit--the Senate bill is unsatisfactory--and unstatesmanlike, unAmerican--by design. By design. Much like Madison proposing a representation scheme that had no hope of passing the Constitutional Convention, what the Gang of Eight is staking out is the hardest line feasible, expecting a conference committee with the House that loses the more extreme bits**, but still legalizes, with legalization being the number one goal, just as proportional representation (vice vote by states) was Madison's. As I am opposed to legalization--any shadow problems illegals might have is of their own doing, just as with any lawbreaker, esp. in an age where a non-person of color is granted no grace by society for misdeeds, whether unwarranted or warranted,, but instead is simply executed (Deen, Paula, see)-- I am opposed to the Senate in toto on this issue. If you wish a draconian scheme of excommunication for transgressing of social norms, then I cannot wink at transgressions of tens of millions when they have actually broken the law. Sorry. **Naturally, Dems have a decent chance of getting a lot more than the bare minimum of legalization, because of John Boehner, Mr. Inadequate to this Moment in History.

190 First of all, pre-denouncement. I would like to state for the record that I do not lose any sleep over people "living in the shadows," especially when the living in the shadows is done openly. I'm okay with people that commit crimes staying in the shadows if the authorities refuse to apprehend them. It's not like the shadow people are dropping dead all over the place from starvation and disease. If it were really that horrible, they would go back to their home countries. So I'm pretty sure shadow living isn't doing to bad for them. Post-denouncement, just in case.

One of them is my barber and I asked him of what value is that pride to his bottom line, that is, what has it done for his business level. He admitted that it had dropped. Thus, the value of pride=0. Most Leftists of any color don't get this.

231 I continue to be amazed that there has never been, to my knowledge, a leak of a ruling.
==========
Except the Obamacare ruling WAS leaked.

Then they ratcheted up the intimidation campaign against the piss-yellow coward John Roberts, got him to switch his vote.

I'd put even money on the wise latina or someone at her behest is the leaker.

Hate to say it, but the "right bloggyshpere" ain't worth shit. No one -- and I mean no-friggin'-body -- seems capable of connecting the dots and realizing that there is a PATTERN to the treasonous/felonious acts of the Choom Boy regime and their Congressional pets. Each time we are faced with some theft of our Constitutional liberties, each time our pockets are picked, each time we are forced to surrender to terrorists and low-lifes worldwide, wimpy comments ensue, all tinged with surprise that this or that awful thing is happening.

This is one of my pet peeves with Malkin: she stomps her little feet in Outrageous Outrage about some detail that hits her own constricted worldview, and hammers the point incessantly. NRO tries to smother any "news" under endless dissertations in which they toss ideas back and forth among themselves.

I suppose it is human nature to reduce every issue to terms small enough to apply to one's own life. But President Historic First© don't play that; he has the power to make big changes, and doesn't give a shit if the country he pinky-swore to defend is destroyed in the process.

In fairness (SWIDT?), I'm doing it as well. Seems teh Interwebz are the only place left where we can argue our points without facing criminal charges....

Justice Abe Fortas used to leak negotiations to his buddy LBJ while he was on the bench. If not for him being such a corrupt fucker, he wouldn't have been pressured to resign late in LBJ's term.

That lasted less than a year. Morrissey is so full of himself that he can't post a coherent position on anything. You'd think his crotch would be getting sore from all that fence-straddling.

Ed, you can have your spot back. I'm not using it any more.

248 He's a marketing creation like most things that pass for entertainment now days.

Nope.  Unless you mean all the work he did by personally traveling to every radio station office he could to do in person performances to encourage them to play his music.

The kid started off by putting himself on YouTube and playing in the street.  A nobody producer noticed him on YouTube.  That producer put him on the county fair route and started sending him to radio stations as I mentioned above.  Before Bieber, the typical route for a singer/dancer child was through Disney.  Disney didn't want him, so they went their own way by putting the kid out there everywhere they could.

I hate Bieber and his music, but the kid put himself where he is by really really hard work.

Agreed. He and Hannah Montana...now the heavily inked Miley who seems bent on being the next Shannon Doherty.

This enforces my point.  Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) was Disney-backed.  Bieber didn't have Disney marketing, at all.

My favorite Cornel West anecdote.

Back in the late 90s, I had to read "Race Matters" for some class that I can't even remember now. Tiny little book, by the way. Both in length, and in depth of thought. But I digress.

Anyway, I left my books in the truck while out drinking one night, and had everything stolen. Books, stereo, loose change in the ash tray etc.

A week later, I parked on the same street while bar-hopping and the thief RETURNED THE BOOK. Broke into my truck again and left it sitting on the driver's seat.

He'd also read the book and made suitably leftist commentary in the margins.

Bastard didn't return all my other textbooks though, cost me about $300 or so to replace everything, if memory serves.

Still have that copy of "Race Matters".

251 It is, nonetheless, the only legitimate method. I did not say it would work, I said it was the only thing he could have done short of what he did. If you did, your statement was well hidden or deleted. The following was pretty representative: His proper course of action would have been to take his information and evidence to the Senate Intelligence committee. It wasn't his call to decide what was in the best interest of the Nation.
