— Ace Of course.
You can say whatever you like if a friendly media will just transmit your nonsense without bothering to check on a single thing.
Gartland also turns his attention to the superhero mayorÂ’s actions in the wake of the 2010 blizzard that blanketed the northeast. Time chonicled how Booker and his staff personally shoveled streets and delivered diapers to a woman who was snowed in and couldnÂ’t leave her home to purchase them. Gartland tracked her down:
Barbara Byers confirmed to The Post that Booker, in one of the more colorful accounts of his heroic, hands-on approach to governing, delivered Pampers to her home. But the press never questioned how she felt about it.“I always found it weird that no one asked me about what happened,” she said. “It wasn’t that I didn’t have diapers because I didn’t go shopping. It was two days later and nobody cleared our street.
“He’s a very nice man, but he isn’t a good mayor,” she added. “If he would have done his job, I would have been able to do for myself and gone out. It took three days for someone to come by with a plow the first time.”
Why would they ask? When it comes to Democrats, the rule is that caught between a fact and a legend, Print the Legend.

Democrats love poor people in the abstract. Actual poor people are dirty and kinda frightening.

Lois needs a perp walk and an extended stay in all inclusive federal housing, she wont get it though since republicans wont push the issue.
They are happy with the IRS keeping the tea party and conservatives suppressed. The tea party is too big of a challenge to the establishments power and a threat to their status quo. If the tea party truely was unleashed it would trounce the establishment Republicans and they can't have that.

"You can say whatever you like if a friendly media will just transmit your nonsense without bothering to check on a single thing."
This may be the problem that Leftys/Progressives/Democrats have with Twitter and other social media. They have been so used for so long having the media play the role of filter for them that their own internal filters have withered away. Without that external filter what they actually say gets out - their unvarnished opinions. And then it is off to resignation land as careers go away.

So, Comrade Lerner gets to retire with a nice hefty payout for her services to The Capital, and lots more dough to come from the Libs for speaking engagements and such.
Not to mention she'll have a job sewn up in some lefty think tank and/or lobbying firm before a week's out. The woman with inside knowledge of how to get your nakedly political nonprofit organization through the exemption department at the IRS? She'll never have to pay for anything ever again.

Few voters will vote
On October the Sixteenth
Let's make sure ours do.
I think it may be possible to steal a march on Cory Booker and the Democrats in New Jersey. They think they have this one in the bag. But the people opposed to Booker are much more enthusiastic than the people who are lukewarm for him.
In a Special Election, turn-out is everything. If we can get half of the people who want an alternative to Booker to the polls, we will win this thing by a large margin. Nobody wants Obama's Mini-Me in the Senate. California already has two Senators, so we don't owe them one of ours.

I think the most interesting Trend I've seen in the last 10 years, is how LAZY the press has gotten.
They are so busy talking to each other... that they don't bother to check the source. They don't go after the story itself.
Fox and Bill OReilly are a prime example. He used to interview news Sources.... now he just talks to third hand folks who have an opinion about the story.... or a politician or talking head with an agenda to grind about the story....

I recall all of the burning black churches when I was a kid which made me further pursue my goal of being drafted by the major league baseball team , Kansas City. And even though I was named after a famous mountain climber, I never have been able to scale more than a small hill in Cambodia during a secret mission on Christmas day to drop CIA men behind enemy lines.
After that experience , I continued to fly air missions back and forth in Vietnam. On my return to the states, I entered into computer studies and helped create the internet. I then became a Senator after a successful career channeling still born babies. I was heavily influenced by my parents who met while marching for Civil rights in Selma.

I wonder why they let the pictures out these times? There have been at least 20,000 suicide bombings and jihad attacks over the last 12 years and only rarely to the pictures make it to the major outlets. As opposed to, say, Israelis tear gassing a crowd of rock throwing teens. Which is the painting a bowl of fruit for news photogs.

Thus the Federal Reserve now owns more debt in the form of U.S. Treasury securities and MBSs than the sum total of the publicly held debt that the U.S. government accumulated from George WashingtonÂ’s administration into November 2001, during President George W. BushÂ’s first term.

Yup... they used printed money to buy up non real assets, that can't really be tracked.. to get them off the Bank Balance sheets.
They will then sit on them... forever.... as to them its just data on a sheet of paper... and they never expect to repay any debt anyway...
Thus, taking a whole lot of capital, and have it sitting doing nothing.... which is of course the exact opposite of how Capitalism is supposed to function...

The officer had my criminal background check in a folder and he pulled out a single piece of paper that had all the speeding tickets and moving violations I ever had. Every one of them. He asked me why I liked to speed so much. I said I was young and dumb and had a motorcycle. Then he said, he expected to see more because he usually didn't get anything so "thin".

They did this at my company. To be "greener", everyone's personal trashcans were taken and replaced by a small Tupperware tray that we are supposed to use to carry our trash to the community trash bin. All this did was make less work for the housekeeping staff, not impact the amount of trash we made. Instead of picking up everyone's trash can, they just have to hit the three big bins on our floor.
I hid my trash can before they took it away, so I still have mine! They can take my trash can when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

The thing is, a genuinely reformed, truly born-again person would be now equipped with a conscience and would realize the harm they had done in full, without rationalization or excuse, and would recognize the justice of their sentence, however severe, and be good with it. Although not a felon facing life (or death) for a horrible crime, I had one of those moments of faith and clarity where I saw myself for what I truly was, what I had become. You're never the same after that, and strive to do all you can to make things right, knowing that you're never truly going to make things right but trying anyway.
