More Cory Booker Stories Exposed as Fake-ish
— Ace

Of course.

You can say whatever you like if a friendly media will just transmit your nonsense without bothering to check on a single thing.

Gartland also turns his attention to the superhero mayorÂ’s actions in the wake of the 2010 blizzard that blanketed the northeast. Time chonicled how Booker and his staff personally shoveled streets and delivered diapers to a woman who was snowed in and couldnÂ’t leave her home to purchase them. Gartland tracked her down:

Barbara Byers confirmed to The Post that Booker, in one of the more colorful accounts of his heroic, hands-on approach to governing, delivered Pampers to her home. But the press never questioned how she felt about it.

“I always found it weird that no one asked me about what happened,” she said. “It wasn’t that I didn’t have diapers because I didn’t go shopping. It was two days later and nobody cleared our street.

“He’s a very nice man, but he isn’t a good mayor,” she added. “If he would have done his job, I would have been able to do for myself and gone out. It took three days for someone to come by with a plow the first time.”

Why would they ask? When it comes to Democrats, the rule is that caught between a fact and a legend, Print the Legend.

Lois needs a perp walk and an extended stay in all inclusive federal housing, she wont get it though since republicans wont push the issue.

They are happy with the IRS keeping the tea party and conservatives suppressed. The tea party is too big of a challenge to the establishments power and a threat to their status quo. If the tea party truely was unleashed it would trounce the establishment Republicans and they can't have that.

66 The GOP old guard are playing by old rules. They know this shiz is faker than a $3 bill. They don't expose this stuff because that's just not done. It's like going after another politico's pork. You don't do it. They're so calcified they can't even see the game changing. They're in office, so why change. Being elected and getting their pork and hookers and perks is good enough. Doing things like keeping promises is only important insofar as it gets them elected again. They'll not put their neck out too far to keep a promise if it harms their chances by making them look bad in the press. That's reason enough for me to get new guys and gals in office. None of these codgers is so wily and important that we need to keep them in. They are compromised fast, so kick them out fast. Reward the ones that keep promises and cut down the ones that don't. And people like Gabe and their "just elect them, that's good enough" attitude need to be pushed to the far edges of the tent.

"You can say whatever you like if a friendly media will just transmit your nonsense without bothering to check on a single thing."

This may be the problem that Leftys/Progressives/Democrats have with Twitter and other social media.  They have been so used for so long having the media play the role of filter for them that their own internal filters have withered away.  Without that external filter what they actually say gets out - their unvarnished opinions.  And then it is off to resignation land as careers go away.

Few voters will vote

On October the Sixteenth

Let's make sure ours do.

I think it may be possible to steal a march on Cory Booker and the Democrats in New Jersey.  They think they have this one in the bag.  But the people opposed to Booker are much more enthusiastic than the people who are lukewarm for him.

In a Special Election, turn-out is everything.  If we can get half of the people who want an alternative to Booker to the polls, we will win this thing by a large margin.  Nobody wants Obama's Mini-Me in the Senate.  California already has two Senators, so we don't owe them one of ours.

And, the democrat party says whatever the h*ll it likes, knowing it will be superseded with another "whatever the h*ll it likes." (see DWS) And, lastly, the media, see above.

I think the most interesting Trend I've seen in the last 10 years, is how LAZY the press has gotten.

They are so busy talking to each other... that they don't bother to check the source.  They don't go after the story itself.

Fox and Bill OReilly are a prime example.  He used to interview news Sources.... now he just talks to third hand folks who have an opinion about the story.... or a politician or talking head with an agenda to grind about the story....

Well, never mind.  I accidently told the truth that I didn't flash my tallywacker on twitter.  Imagine that

Seriously.  West is my first choice anyway and Scott impresses me every time I see him.  I guess we could reverse that as well as Scott is a serving senator.   The racism from the Left will be of the withering variety.  Not to mention the hilarity when  hearing  from the media and Donks (but I repeat myself)  about an inexperienced senator not being a wise choice.

After that experience , I continued to fly air missions back and forth in Vietnam.  On my return to the states,  I  entered into computer studies and helped create the internet.   I  then  became a Senator after a successful career channeling still born babies.   I was heavily influenced by my parents who met while marching for Civil rights in Selma.

My background is similarly boring. Posted by: AllenG (Dedicated Tenther) MFM Delenda Est at September 23, 2013 03:50 PM (/PCJa) True story: one of my old bosses was deposing a guy. He had a perfectly clean record. No tickets. No nothing. Clean as a whistle. Opposing counsel was all eyerolling at my boss about the repeated pressing about his background, particularly any prior names. Then old boss pulls out a two inch high stack of papers and asks the guy "Who is Mr. X?" Guy being deposed "Oh, he was a bad bad man." Opposing counsel looks panicked and demands to see the papers, the top of which was the print out of the guy's fourteen DUIs in six jurisdictions over nine years. Second page was all the criminal convictions for check kiting, petty theft, shoplifting, you know, all the need money for drugs/booze crimes. Opposing counsel promptly tries to call a halt to the deposition but loses. Looooooong story short, guy was a bad bad man indeed who had allegedly found religion and changed his name. According to him, he didn't reveal his prior background when he was being hired by the shipping company because that man was dead and he was a new man in Christ. Yeah. Let's just say that got settled really really fast after that.

They did this at my company.  To be "greener", everyone's personal trashcans were taken and replaced by a small Tupperware tray that we are supposed to use to carry our trash to the community trash bin.  All this did was make less work for the housekeeping staff, not impact the amount of trash we made.  Instead of picking up everyone's trash can, they just have to hit the three big bins on our floor.

I hid my trash can before they took it away, so I still have mine!  They can take my trash can when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

The thing is, a genuinely reformed, truly born-again person would be now equipped with a conscience and would realize the harm they had done in full, without rationalization or excuse, and would recognize the justice of their sentence, however severe, and be good with it. Although not a felon facing life (or death) for a horrible crime, I had one of those moments of faith and clarity where I saw myself for what I truly was, what I had become. You're never the same after that, and strive to do all you can to make things right, knowing that you're never truly going to make things right but trying anyway.

254 So Fascist Jackass who sits behind me is the leader of the company "Green Team." He's proposed an Erf-saving measure: having a trash can at each desk is "wasteful" so we're all going to share. Posted by: HeatherRadish™, BFD, ZOMG, WTF, BBQ, QED at September 23, 2013 04:06 PM (/kI1Q) ____________ How will that save the earth? Same trash amount just compiled into one big can instead of many small ones. If anything this will eliminate a janitorial job. You know, one of those people Democrats love.

When Corey Booker puts on the cape and mask, he's transformed into T-Bone.

Yes...they are.

I posit that if you took CBD and dananjcon out of Jersey, the average IQ would drop about 15 points. And they love them some Fat Mittens.

Draw your own conclusions.

258 Breaking Bad is an awesome show. Fat Boy is just jealous that he has never had an original thought in his life. And he's fat...really fuckin FAT and ugly.

259 125 Off topic.

What if this guy Al Shabbaz mounts a coordinated attack at like fifty Starbucks here in the USA, right at prime time go-to-work a.m.?

How would that go down?

What if it is done by suicide bombers using liquid explosives, the liquids being in coffee cups?
-----

Nothing would happen to Al, because Starbucks didn't react well to some open carry advocates bringing their guns to the store. Poor optics, you know.

260 Both Mr. White and Hank would have had excellent insurance coverage because they had public sector jobs. Who the fuck are they kidding? As to whether it is racist or not, the show is so popular that souch a tactic just makes Salon look more foolish than they normally are. Writer's just dream up this crap to get attention. They have no credibility.

263 Barbara Byers is obviously an anarchist -- why, she actually wants to buy diapers HERSELF!

Cory Booker is such a nanny-stater he wants to buy  diapers for the people instead of doing what gubmint is actually SUPPOSED to do like, um snowplow streets. What a maroon.

266 Property tax burden up 13 pct under Christie

http://tinyurl.com/ml5g2pt

Every dem/leftie/lib I know says they "would vote for Christie" usually in response to me saying that I don't trust him.  Funny, all that property tax revenue sure made his job easier.

The guy who is country executive on Long Island did the same thing and people can't stand him.  He's a republican who behaves like a democrat so people are planning to re elect the conservative democrat he defeated.

Most people like Corey Booker, even christie.

269 He's proposed an Erf-saving measure: having a trash can at each desk is "wasteful" so we're all going to share.

How this reduces the amount of trash generated...well, I'm sure there's a model I'm just too stupid to understand.

Go long!
