More on Ashley Judd's Decision
— Ace

Allah hits the google machine and recalls all the pushback she'd gotten from the Kentucky Democratic party, which was very concerned about this flaky, puffy-faced would-be Senatrix.

So there you go. She murdered her own shot at a candidacy, with her strange statements about everything from rape, to hating children, to rape.

I guess this means this politically-interested puff adder will be back to writing screeds on the Huffington Post or Daily Beast.

Third, by some freakish chance that really doesn't matter.

I was so looking forward to her insane comments embarassing Democrats nation wide like the Akin stupidities did. I guess the Democrats decided that she was full on bat sh*t crazy and didn't want to try and cover her BS.

6 At this time I wold like to announce that I too am NOT running for the Senate, because I also realize that my responsibilities & energy at this time need to be focused on my family. Which is about as newsworthy as this fuckhead celebrity's announcement.

7 I'm too lazy to research this but I suspect at least part of her decision was based on Kentucky's rather lengthy residency requirement (in addition to the decided lack of interest the Democrat machine had in supporting her candidacy). Without having done said research, I think there might well be a genuine issue as to whether or not she qualifies, something she hadn't bothered to investigate before she started talking about running.

The Dems got Fletcher's first Lt. Gov. running mate kicked off the ticket because he'd spent several years in DC working for Sen. McConnell (all the while paying KY taxes and so on). How someone who represented Tennessee at the DNC last year was going to be eligible so soon was something I was rather looking forward to seeing play out.
