— Ace Interviewed by Tapper on CNN.
Tapper played a portion of former Sec. Clinton’s testimony before Congress in which she asked “what difference, at this point, does it make” what the impetus behind the attack on the consulate was.“Well, that’s what I want to know,” Smith shot back. “Why did it happen? And she is in charge. Why couldn’t she do something about it? I blame her.”
“That’s her department. She’s supposed to be on top of it, and yet she claims that she knows nothing – it wasn’t told to her,” Smith said. “Who’s running the place?”

Excellent column, exposing the fact that there seems to be a great deal more political heat than light surrounding the Benghazi tragedy. Fomenting outrage about Susan Rice, especially absurd and terrible given the distraught faces of Clinton and Obama just after the attack and his use of the term "terror"; trying to discredit President Obama before and during the election - parsing his wording! - that was particularly dirty I thought - as was the onslaught against Ambassador Rice who had nothing to do with Benghazi at all!
But now, it seems our favorite muckrakers including Darryl Issa are trying to attack Hillary Clinton years before she MIGHT run for President.
I don't know what we are going to do about the 24/7 right wing propaganda machine. What we shouldn't do is overreact to their provocations. I feel the NYT has responded responsibly and in a measured fashion.

Benghazi? Not only do you not know... but it now comes to light you LIED to us... resign... who was in Charge? ANYONE?
Economy? Mr Precedent... why are so many out of work... and those who do work make LESS real dollars??? If you can't fix this, then get out of the way and give someone else a chance.

Yeah, but the end of her column contradicts itself and she blames Fox news, oh the horror. Stupid bint :
From the column
"HereÂ’s my take: The angry criticism of The Times on Benghazi has been based largely on politics, not journalism, and fomented by Fox News (The conspiracy narrative goes like this: The Times is a liberal newspaper unwilling to take on a liberal president and his administration.) In fact, whatÂ’s been written in The Times has been solid. But my sense is that, starting last fall, The Times has had a tendency to both play down the subject, which has significant news value, and to pursue it most aggressively as a story about political divisiveness rather than one about national security mistakes and the lack of government transparency. Many readers would like to see more on that front, and so would I."

Local Commander spooled up, got his people in position to go, and said 'I need permission'... while getting them ready...
ONLY the President could give permision, under the War Powers Act, to use Military Forces, in a Foreign country we are NOT at War with...
That permision never came, so the intermediate Commander had to tell them to 'stand down', or he would be exceeding his authority.

This thing might have legs. I doubt that there will be an impeachment much less a removal from office but the stench of progressive politics and lying Democrats could last for years.
An impeachment will never happen. Obama could rape and gut a ten year old boy at a live press conference and the Dems in the Senate would not only refuse to impeach, they would declare that his behavior was an inspiration to everyone.

It had to be a PROACTIVE order... otherwise everyones hands were tied... and Obama was sleeping.
Thus, the need for the cover up.... to cover up basic incompetency.

Jeb Bush doesn't stand a chance in the primaries, so I'm not worried about him at all.
If Christie wins reelection, he might run because he's got nothing to lose by taking a shot. But he won't go far in the primaries.
Rubio won't run.
Rand Paul will probably throw his hat in the ring.
Walker might run. And maybe Snyder.

so of course it is, political To THEM if they'd actually given a shit about stephens, smith, woods, and doherty (and the others that were saved ) through no help of This administration ,they would have wanted to know the truth as much as we do .
They don't really give two hoots about our military guys and gals but only as assets for Them to use.

I don't think this was 'incompetency'.
Dismissing this as 'incompetency' gives them political cover.
This was the intentional sacrificing of Americans...for political reasons.
Barfy wasn't concerned with the War Powers Act, when he released Military Assets to go get Bin Laden.
That was applauded as a 'gutsy call'.

I can relate. At that dinner last week, Friend A said she'd had the hots for Billy Jeff since his days in the WH and would still do him (paraphrased). Saying that, combined with the look on her face, almost made me lose my dinner. Blech.
It was quite a revealing night. Friend B mentioned Fox news, suggesting as a place to learn more about the college students who'd been arrested that day in relation to the Boston bombing (of which Friend A was unaware). Then Friend A blurted out "Fox news? I'd never watch Fox." She's more of a moonbat than I thought. Sigh. Wish I would have asked her why she's threatened by the idea of listening to a different source of news, a mainstream broadcast network at that.

Last night, it was revealed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had ordered more security at the U.S. mission in Benghazi before it was attacked where four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens were murdered by Al-Qaeda but President Obama denied the request. The news broke on TheBlazeTV’s “Wilkow!” hosted by Andrew Wilkow, by best-selling author, Ed Klein who said the legal counsel to Clinton had informed him of this information. Klein also said that those same sources said that former President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife [Hillary] to release official State Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing the election.

Before last week, I wasn't sure who she'd voted for (still don't know for sure, but it's pretty easy to guess). I've never heard her say anything in support of Barky before. Athough we don't really talk much about politics, I'm certain I've made my opinion about Zero known, at least in small digs here and there. I also try to drop references to news stores I know the MSM isn't covering into my conversations with people. "Oh, you haven't heard about Fast and Furious? I guess the MSM is suppressing that story too." My hope is to get people curious enough to find out for themselves what is happening without beating them over the heads. And of course I'm always happy to fill their ear if they ask me for more info. : )

Hillary is not only culpable but likely violated Mr. Nakoulas right to a fair trial by telling the parents at the memorial that they were going after the film maker, knowing it had nothing to do with the attack. Hillary should go under the jail.
But,,,
Someone in the commander-in-chief's chain had to call off the special forces and that has nothing to do with Hillary. The thing was set up so that Hillary would take the heat (which she should by any means) but it's Obama's nasty mess.

we'll possibly have the facts finally presented, and perhaps some will understand why we've ben so angry.
if this is how this administration treats their own chosen ambassadors and assistants .
how will they treat us lowly scum of the earth?
and that means you guys out there, you are only a vote for them.

That really is the best way to present them with information they might not know because perhaps they watch very little news.
i only watch videos of any news that shows up here or something i am actually researching
and i do not watch forx either.
because i get tired of the fickle and repetitive stuff on all the news channels. and lack of important topics for th most part.
( i don't want to hear about kardashians or anything similar)

The way you kill Hillary's chances at President?
Run an ad with all of Bill's Affairs... and his telling lies... and impeachment...
Then a simple graphic... "The Presidency is ALL about Judgement... Hillary is still married to Bill... do YOU trust her Judgement?' What IS it about the douchebag consultants that Reps hire that they can't come up effective ads like the morons here? There are plenty of opportunities I've thought of that would surely be more effective. Last campaign, just take the liar-in-chiefs own words and use them to show....well, that he's a liar! He called Bushes deficits unpatriotic. Show that clip, they follow w/ a graphic of his growth of the deficit. Before the next congresscritter election they should run an ad tying Gosnell around the necks of the Dem party...asking WHO has a war on women? Why do reps think they have to be "nice". Are they afraid of the MFM? Boggles my mind.

No, this will not end Hillary's bid for the White House. She will have the media, which will ensure the truth about Benghazi will be a faded memory by the time 2016 arrives . She will have Obama's blessing, which gives her the black/minority vote. She will have Bill, arguably one of the best political tacticians of the modern era. Most importantly, she will (probably) have a plurality of the women's vote, depending on the makeup of the Republican ticket.
Barring a resurgent Great Recession that can't somehow be blamed on Bush, the only thing that will stop Hillary will be a unified and motivated Republican Party, a massive campaign war chest, a strong ticket (with at least one woman on it), and a solid GOP GOTV effort doing a full court press in every state, not just in swing states.
If pressed, I'd say Hillary has a slightly better than even chance if she starts right now putting some distance between herself and President Obama. At some point within the next two years, his policies are going to lead to a disaster of some sort so great even the MSM won't be able to cover it up. She's not inevitable but most definitely hard to beat.

Yes, many of them are afraid of the MFM. This is because many of them are unprincipled fools without the courage of their convictions.

LOL, John Stossell just called O'Reilly ignorant. I LIKE that guy!
Stossell I mean, not the bloviating one.

With all due respect, I submit that it is both: incompetent and irredeemably ideologically-driven naivete combined with cynical, selfish political ambition that gives us "check the transcript" and "what difference, at this point, does it make", both of which being obvious examples of the latter to coverup for the former.
The country is in the very best of hands. No wonder amnesty is their current priority.
