— JohnE. Obama: If you canÂ’t trust government, weÂ’re going to have some problems
Yes, you've made that abundantly clear.
He also kept going back to the "no one is listening to your phone calls" straw man. None of these reports on the NSA programs ever claimed they were, of course.

Unfortunately, youÂ’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity thatÂ’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. TheyÂ’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we canÂ’t be trusted.

Well, see, I don't trust government. Didn't trust it when Ronaldus Maximus (PBUH) was president, and I certainly don't trust it when a corrupt, amoral Kenyan cokehead runs it. I want this tinpot dictator gone so badly, I can taste it.
Somebody like Cruz or Gowdy needs to grab Boehner by the nuts, yank him out of whatever gutter he's been crying in and yell, "CONSTITUTION, motherfucker! Do you speak it?"

Dear Mr. Obama,
I do not trust you. I do not trust your alleged administration. I do not trust your mouthpieces in the media, nor your goons in the union mafia. I do not trust a word that comes out of your mouth, especially not when you're telling me to trust you. I consider everything you say to be a profane act committed against my sense of hearing, and every image of you I am forced to view is a vile affront to my sense of sight.
I hope you will live a long life. I want very much for you to see your legacy become a twisted mass of broken dreams and shattered illusions. I want you to be forced to hear children give speeches in their eighth grade english classes about why "Barack Obama was the worst President Ever."
And when you eventually die alone in your home, because Malia and Sasha will have left you long ago in an attempt to distance themselves from their failure of a father, I want you to recognize that the warmth you feel surrounding you as you slowly fade to black isn't the kindly embrace of God.
It's the puddle of urine spreading around your ass as your decrepit dick and failing bladder give your death the only headlines it will deserve: "Disgraced Ex-President Barack Obama dies in bed, Sitting in Puddle of Urine."
Sincerely,
MWR

If no one is listening in on or storing these conversations from these phone calls then why the hell is the program there then? So you can say someone called a number on a certain day and time? Let me clue you Federal dumbasses in on something. You can already do that two ways. It's called reading it off the phone itself or from the cell phone records from the carrier.
What you fucks want is what's being said on that phone. Man up and say it so we can get this shit on the road.
Geez, even trying to be a tyrant, JugEars is still a stuttering little scrunt.

Think about it. If they were focused on people with some suspicious activity, like say a recent trip to Chechnya, wouldn't they have been a little more up-to-speed on the Boston bombers?
What they are setting up will allow the government to input a name, a phone number, an address, a credit card number, and within in a very short period of time (think seconds to minutes at the most) have a complete list of all your known associates, their known associates, their spending habits, places they've stayed, etc. This isn't future stuff. This is stuff you can do at home with the evaluation edition of Microsoft SQL Server. All you'd be missing is the disk space and the means of inputting the data. Combine this with the data the IRS has been compiling about "Patriot" groups, and the illegal collection of Concealed Carry Permit holders, and you have a totalitarian's wet dream of data at your fingertips.
So you need a liver transplant? Let me just put this into the computer...

Beyond that, my problem with this is that there are other ways to protect America from radical islamic terrorists, without violating the privacy of every American. For example, we could disallow visas for visitors from the countries in question and expel their nationals.
Does anyone honestly think this wouldn't do more to protect us from actual harm that this dragnet? Neither 9/11 nor Boston would have happened if we weren't letting these shitbags into the country, no information dragnet required.
So, what they're saying is that they're fine violating the privacy of actual American citizens to avoid violating the "right" of foreign nationals from Muslim countries to come to the US. Fuck them.

If you look in your files, you will see trainer has a box full just for him. It's been an interesting life...at least it was earlier. Now it's kind of peaceful.
...except for the crap you and Barky are pulling.
A quick perusal of my files might suggest to you I am not exactly Camp material. My past Military training should send up a few flags, and you know the old saying...'you never forget how to ride a bike.' The last I looked there were about 21 Million like me. I've even added some skills since then...scary, ain't it.
I'm also getting a bit long in the tooth, so if you're going to get hot, please do so soon. I have discussed this with my wife and have her permission to misbehave.

The first event is a rehearsal dinner tonight. Should be interesting to hear what, if anything, they have to say about this shit. That is, if they even know about it. Like most TFG voters, they're not the most well informed."
Hey, that's my side of the state, specifically blue, blue King County, which was actually not named for MLK, but some white dude who just happened to be the Vice President when the Washington Territory was created in the 1800's. Several years ago, our then Governor, Christine Fraudoire (remember her, the she stole the gubernatorial election) signed a bill into law that renamed King County after MLK. All the logos, official letterhead, signage on county trucks etc., was changed to honor MLK. (Costs of changing all the logos was estimated to be $600k by The Stranger, a very liberal Seattle rag.)
Anyways, yes, your rehearsal dinner should be very interesting. Most people here are LIV's and Obama lovers. Although, there are small pockets of conservatism here and there in the suburbs. Good luck!

He also kept going back to the "no one is listening to your phone calls" straw man. None of these reports on the NSA programs ever claimed they were, of course.
This is a lie. Of course you are listening into some phone calls. If you weren't then the whole purpose of collecting this information is for naught. You collect the info and if it guides you in a direction you think elicits the need for tapping you are going to eventually request a subpoena to tap the phones.
The problem is the 4th does not allow you to go on these fishing expeditions.

I never understood how that and paying pron actors isn't prosecuted as prostitution. You're literally paying/getting paid for nookie. How is that not prostitution?
Especially pron where some guy with a camera is a solo operator of his internetz pron company. A little gov't paperwork and everyone makes believe it's something else.

When I worked for an international telecom company a while back I was part of team making sure we implemented the software that ensured the proper wiretap protocols according to each country's specifications. It was pretty frightening. For example, Thailand required not only free reign to listen in, they required a separate dedicated office (with door locks) on the switch premises to do so (so they could do this without any scrutiny). Even Canada doesn't give its citizens protection from wiretapping (inless things have changed recently). We laughed about it at the time. Not laughing now.
*Side note: our team printed up shirts with the project name and "We listen to our customers" as an inside joke.

Here is his way of stopping it: Promote everyone who did something wrong that benefited him. That way they are no longer in the position to cause the same trouble.

Right we get that.
Does anyone remember a US Senator by the name of Joe McCarthy? Aside from being a prick, he was accusing people of being communists because they associated with known communists.
So what does PRISM do? It looks for ASSOCIATIONS.
Now either 'connecting the dots' by associations is a good thing to do, in which case McCarthy was right, or PRISM is doing what McCarthy did.
