4 Weasel Clark's new girlfriend as Miss Marple says certainly raises eyebrows.  Not just the three decade age difference.  She is from the PRC, got into MIT, got a technical degree, worked at Goldman Sachs in a non-technical area, and now has her own business.  She is merely Anna Chapman in a Vera Wang knock-off.

20 Shot through the heart..So the democrat party openly admits that a recommend tactic is 'stamped the herd'. Add in their open adoption of Alinsky tactics and it should be plain to see.

Those tactics used to be properly identified as 'populist', until the meaning of the word was redefined to mean 'conservatives defending conservative values".

Good news everyone!

The spiders knew you were watching for them on the plane, so they tried a different approach:

Spider infestation delays flights out of KCI

There may have been as many as five flights delayed after air traffic controllers were bombarded with an infestation of spiders.

Three employees were bitten by the spiders last week at the Air Traffic Control Center in Olathe, Kan., which controls the air space around Kansas City. Controllers had to evacuate and move to another area of the building.

Exterminators found a spider's nest egg that had likely hatched.

"You're talking in some spider cases up to 400 and in large breeds, you're talking 1000's from one mom,” CJ Workman with Schendel Pest Control said.

51 Obama Going on a Well-Earned Vacation

"Comrades! You do not imagine, I hope, that the Obamas are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? The Obamas actually dislike vacations on Martha's Vineyard. I dislike them myself. Their sole object in taking these things is to preserve their health. vacations on Martha's Vineyard (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a Democrat. The Obamas are brainworkers. The whole management and organization of this country depend on them. Day and night they are watching over your welfare. It is for YOUR sake that they vacation at multimillion dollar estates on Martha's Vineyard."

53 The same stuff as detailed in the college admissions story happens in college employment. My wife's University has some sort of broad mission statement about inclusiveness that serves as the excuse to bypass the law. Wife isn't allowed to ask sex, age, citizenship status (until late in the process), but they're expected to increase diversity ( her dept. is all-white at an HBCU) by guessing race. They've been told as much outside formal settings. Anyway, wife offered a job to a woman this Spring, and the woman turns out to be a Korean citizen with kids and all sorts of visa requirements before she can move/start work, etc. Would've been nice to know that in March, but illegal to ask.

Or is it just assumed?

Posted by: The Cowardly Rather at August 09, 2013 10:18 AM (gqgiP)

Actually, there are instances that you do fly it into the ground with a T-34.  Single engine power loss.  Put her down nearest suitable landing surface free of obstacles (beach, water, dirt road, highway, etc).  HAPLs and LAPLs (High altitude power loss/Low altitude power loss).  Hated those at first but once you got it down, not too bad.  Instructor's would pull the power lover to simulate a power loss at any time during a 2.5 hour flight, and pretty much at any altitude to see what you would do.  They of course would add power and take over at around a 100 feet if it was anywhere other than a runway.  They loved to give them to you at around 200 feet right after takeoff.  You knew it was coming when you could see them talking on a 2nd radio that you couldn't hear in the back seat clearing it with tower to use the off duty runway.

No end in sight to US Embassy Closure.

""I think there will be an assessment, and when there's an assessment that this current threat is not what it was, then we'll probably change our posture," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters at his daily briefing Thursday. "But I certainly don't have a timeline to predict for you.""

Probably be like this until something happens, or until after 9/11 'cuz anniversary or something because media loves anniversaries because it gives them something to write about and because the more we talk about this, which is why I'm posting it, to keep everyone talking about it, the less we talk about immigration because immigration is already lost so get over it already.

...and if our foreign policy doesn't suffer because of all the embassy closings then why do we need those embassies in the first place, just keep them all closed, it would be cheaper. . and we don't have the money anyway. See?

The Roma have a culture that encourages behavior that is guaranteed to make them unpopular with everybody else.  This has probably helped them to maintain their distinct culture and not assimilate into the surrounding populations but a byproduct of that is that most everybody hates them and they often act on that.

When I was in Germany many years ago, those people who would talk about such things looked on getting rid of Gypsies kind of like building the Autobahns as one of the good things that Hitler did.  Killing off the Jews, most of them regarded as a mistake but not killing off the Gypsies.

151 OK, Putin can be a pain, and Egyptians are more than a little volatile these days. But Mr. Obama can’t even get along with Canada, which is like getting into an argument with Norway over a chicken recipe. For months the governments in Ottawa and Alberta have been sending representatives to sweet-talk Washington heavyweights on the merits of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would send Alberta crude to the Gulf Coast. There may be valid arguments against the pipeline — though Mr. Obama’s own State Department has shot down most of them — but the negotiations had been friendly and respectful enough until Mr. Obama gave an interview to the New York Times openly mocking the jobs figures put forward by proponents.

153 Regarding the Syrian refugees, I think the American public would be outraged to learn that Homeland Security agency Citizenship and Immigration Services has a program devoted to sending federal employees worldwide to seek out people, qualify them as refugees, and then arrange for them to come to the United States, where they're promptly signed up for public benefits! I kid you not: They spend millions of dollars sending federal employees to these countries for months on end just to bring these people to America (paying for the refugees' travel expenses to boot!) and add to our public benefit rolls. The source of the funding for this boondoggle are the service fees paid by aliens seeking immigration services. That money should be going into the U.S. coffers to pay states, counties and municipalities' taxpayers back for the cost of President Obama refusing to enforce immigration law in the first place, not to be used as a slush fund to bring more future Democrat voters here!
