NFC Wildcard #2
— Dave in Texas

People in central Texas are gah gah over RGIII now.

This isn't right. It's the REDSKINS. vs. Seattle, yo.

redskins-cheerleaders-preseason (400x267).jpg

We're supposed to hate the Skins. That's the deal.

I went to a Redskin game a couple of years ago. The company had box seats overlooking the 40 yard line. Nice! The Redskin cheerleaders were milling about near the elavators. That black girl in the front I met while waiting for the elevator. That picture doesn't begin to show how pretty she is.

Main problem with the Cowboys is not the players.  Many of them, including Romo  and coaching staff, would have been traded or let go under a different management.  The real problem with them  is Jerry Jones.

149 >>>Why is Luck favored over RGIII for rookie of the year?

Who's saying this?  I haven't heard anyone arguing Luck over RGIII for ROY.  The debate always comes down to RGIII vs. Wilson.  It's not a no-doubt question, as each guy has demerits (RGIII = injury issues; Wilson = looked pretty mediocre the first half of the seasons until suddenly putting it together), but the balance of critical opinion seems to slightly favor RGIII.

I'll tell you though, the stealth Rookie of the Year candidate (a guy who ought to finish top 5, although he doesn't deserve to win, necessary) is that OTHER Redskins rookie, Alfred Morris.  God I love that kid.  Not only is he a demonically good rusher, he's also just the nicest, most lovable young guy in pro football right now.

260 208 For those who aren't Skins fans (or big NFL junkies), RGIII is limping because he's still dealing with the aftereffects of what SHOULD HAVE been a horrifying season-ending, knee-shredding injury sustained five weeks ago at the end of the Skins-Ravens game (which the Skins came back to win at the last second via a TD/2-pt conversion plus a FG in OT). Another human being would have been focusing on rehabbing for next year....RGIII just took a week off. It scares me to see him limping around right now, but he's getting the job done, and we also have Kirk Cousins to back him up, who ain't no slouch.

Not content with putting the Oregon Ducks in a different helmet/uni combo in every game this year, ole Phil reached out to the closest NFL team in his neck of the woods. Seattle just thought that was nifty. I think every collegiate/ pro team that wants to get jiggy with their outfits need to model for their respective cheerleaders. 331 Hate to see RGIII out with a knee injury, though I am a Seahawks fan.

334 So, SeaHawks @ Atlanta next week!  My floor is shaking.  The whole damn complex is shaking!

Kalneva, have a great time on your trip!  :-D

337 Id rather listen to him than Joe Buck.

True. Buck is absolutely insufferable doing baseball. On football he is more tolerable, but still an idiot.

Bucks sucks at every sport he calls. If not for daddy, Joe would be parking cars somewhere. I was hoping the Seahawks would lose. I cannot stand that Obozo sack of shit Pete Carroll. He's a total scumbag. I was hoping that one play would go to the sidelines and he'd get run over

I'd cheer for the Taliban if they were playing the Falcons.

Go SeaHawks.

Andrew Luck with an offensive line will be awesome.

340 Hey, take it easy on the Seahawks. If you took out Washington's two congressional districts nearest downtown Seattle, the state would go Republican. Those effete progressives insides the city limits don't pay much attention to football anyway, until it's time to get on the bandwagon.
.
Now, Sounder (soccer) fans, that's a different story. Romney probably would've carried the state if all the soccer fans had forgotten to vote.

341 Bammie left MY town last night. Today was the first day in a month when the Hawaiian tropics were as advertised. Glad he and the First Wookie are gone. Tired of the motorcades, not being able to get to work. Sadly, no excuses this Monday!

342 I was raised in the Dallas area and have been a Cowboy fan all my life.  RGIII is a great player.  I wanted him to win the Heisman.  And I HATED the Redskins drafted him.  There is nothing about WashingtonDC I like.  It is the government's town.  I hate the government.  That said.  I don't care much for Seattle either.

The ETag (entity tag) value is part of the HTTP protocol and is used for caching. It represents the version of a particular resource. On the first request, the browser stores the ETag value it received. On a subsequent request, the browser will send an If-None-Match header with the old ETag value, to avoid downloading the page again if the ETag value is the same.

All you have to do is use a unique identifier for the entity tag and the browser will later return it, just like a cookie. This isn't new. It's one of the methods evercookie (http://samy.pl/evercookie/) uses.

There are a few Firefox add-ons that you can use to prevent this. One that I use is "Modify Headers", which can be set to filter the If-Match, If-None-Match, If-Modified-Since, If-Unmodified-Since, etc. headers. (Yes, the last modification date can also be used for tracking.)
