Obama, Get This, Lied: Having Previously Denied Ever Meeting His Drunk Illegal Alien Uncle Omar, Obama Now Remembers He Lived With Him For a While During Law School
— Ace

Are we supposed to believe he forgot living with a man?

It would be one thing if he lived with him as a child. But he lived with him as an adult in law school.

The White House claimed Obama had never so much as met the man. They claim, now, that their previous claim was a mistake or something, because they had "researched" the question and had not found any evidence the two had met.

Instead of just asking Obama. Which they now say just occurred to them to do. And they claim it just occurred to them to ask Obama after a witness with no reason to lie (Omar's landlord) came forward to say that Obama had lived with Omar.

President Obama acknowledged on Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than a year ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

Their relationship came into question on Tuesday at the deportation hearing of his uncle, Onyango Obama, in Boston immigration court. His uncle had lived in the United States illegally since the 1970s and revealed in testimony for the first time that his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation.

On Thursday, a White House official said the press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe that they had no record of the two meeting. This time, the press office asked the president directly, which they had not done in 2011.

Roger Simon says he's not a conspiracy theorist, but he's beginning to wonder about this Enigmatic Elegant Liar named Barack Obama.

Around Obama there is an unprecedented silence, almost a media omertà. So much remains unknown about this man, although we do know, through the debate surrounding David Maraniss’s failed and tentative biography, that the president lied about his personal history on multiple occasions in his autobiography Dreams from My Father.

Of course, Bill Ayers — the semi-retired terrorist — has claimed on similarly multiple occasions that he was the true author of Dreams, which would make it a lie about a lie about a lie or something like that. The permutations of this are mindboggling.

Actually let me clear that last claim up, because this has far too much traction on the right: Ayers did not claim he was the true author of Dreams from My Father. He says this, sarcastically, in a bit of rightwing-baiting, because he knows the right suspects him of having authored the book.

See, for example, the below clip, starting at 0:33. He always answers the question in this way.

Now, I happen to think this "conspiracy theory" is true: Bill Ayers is the unacknowledged ghost-writer of Dreams from My Father.

But it's not true that Ayers is "admitting" it. He is sarcastically baiting the right by pretending to admit it.

But in pretending to admit it, he is in fact admitting the truth.

Still, you really can't say he "admitted" it. He is playing around the edges of that, but not actually admitting it.

Much smarter would be to take Obama at face value as the author of the book, and then attack him for its actual contents.  Make him live by his own rules.

"So much remains unknown about this man, although we do know, through the debate surrounding David MaranissÂ’s failed and tentative biography, that the president lied about his personal history on multiple occasions in his autobiography Dreams from My Father."

We also know that he will lie when the truth would be easier or even more helpful.  We can now  safely conclude that he lied about the 'plans and doctors' rather then being mistaken.  If he tells you that the sky is blue, you better verify it.  A large part of the power of the presidency is the 'bully pulpit', the ability of the president to persuade others to follow him.  The power of the  bully pulpit is based in the office of the presidency, but also in the credibility of the president.  And now when Obama needs the bully pulpit more than ever* he has been eroding the one thing he needs to make it work.  It is self-destructive behavior on a grand scale and no, do not any one tell him to stop.

*This is the only power of the presidency that he ever seems to work.  He can't or won't do the actual retail politics of working Congress as other presidents have.  He is just one odd duck all the way around.

It was on the basis of that book that all these pointy headed intellectuals thought Obama was smart. Show them that Obama was actually to dumb to be able to write a book and you undermine their original argument for supporting him. It gives them an intellectual out for being misled by him and has the potential to turn them against him. Sure, it's not a major tactic, but don't think it doesn't undermine Obama among the Buckleys. He could lie through his teeth about it and the msm would cover his ass before it was implemented. But now that it is real and people are realizing that it is nothing close to what he promised the scales are falling in a big way. The singly most damaging poll issue I have seen in the last couple weeks is that a majority of people no longer consider Obama honest. That is death to a guy who is all about image over substance. Everything has been given to him: admission to Columbia and Harvard, a choom stipend from his mother's mother, graduation from both, a memoir or two (clearly beyond his writing ability), offices that merely demand that he show up enough, a campaign machine, speechwriters and handlers. Of course Obama I is bored; he's never had any responsibility ... until now. Now, he has to face the results of his limited ability: ObamaCare is a titanic disaster. Too bad he didn't clean up at least some of the loos ends that stick to his shoe. His aunt and uncle should have been quietly deported in January 2009; he could have blamed BOOOOSSH. Ayres and Wright should have been told to shut up about everything. Rezko ... I expect the Chicago Mansion to eventually resurface. The Fool and his handlers seem unable to do anything Wright.

Further, there may well be more evidence that could prove this. Hardly anyone has looked into it. Again, Read the Cashill articles. He employs all the standard methods of proving authorship for disputed texts, the same sort of stuff people use to prove Shakespeare was really Francis Bacon or the like. I don't necessarily endorse that particular theory. But it's not as if he's going on flights of fancy. His evidence, as I say, is circumstantial, but strong. As far as mechanical things that a computer can "fingerprint" (sentence length, ease of reading, etc.) Dreams From My Father is much closer to Fugitive Days than to Audacity of Hope. As far as things only a human can evaluate, like general style, the book is more like a Bill Ayers book. The big tell is "Obama's" predilection for nautical metaphors -- something Ayers is quite fond of. But Ayers was a merchant marine, and thus we know why Ayers would have an active vocabulary including such ideas as neap tides and other maritime terminology. It's not clear why Obama, who had never sailed or been on a boat, would find himself so fluent in maritime metaphors.

I'm really starting to think the Obamas are just a pack of cheats and losers. But thank God we didn't elect Romney, because binders of women, or something.

One day he said something to me that made no sense at all though.  Just some throwaway remark about the old Lattice C compiler that anyone who'd actually used it would never have made because it was completely false and ridiculous.

That got my "spidy sense" tingling, so I went and researched all the PhD's ever granted, and the last guy to be awarded one that had this guy's last name (there was only one) was awarded in like the late 1800's.

When I confronted his brother about this, he admitted that his brother was a complete fraud and didn't even have a BA/BS and had lied his way into pretty much everything he ever did.

I had known this dude for a couple of years and he'd conned quite a few tech savvy people by knowing some of the jargon.  Sometimes it can take a while for their elaborate web of lies and deceptions to fall apart.  A practiced liar always has an explanation for almost everything...

240 Again, Read the Cashill articles. He employs all the standard methods of proving authorship for disputed texts, the same sort of stuff people use to prove Shakespeare was really Francis Bacon or the like. I wouldn't trust that methodology. The Shakespeare conspiricists can and have trotted out any expert they need to state affirmatively that any candidate they want "wrote" Shakespeare. Some of this methodology "proves" that Christopher Marlowe wrote Shakespeare despite being, well, DEAD during the majority of Shakespeare's career. (and the fact that Marlowe's style is NOTHING like Shakespeare's.) So, they then say that Marlowe didn't really die, he was spirited out of the country and spent the rest of his life writing Shakespeare. Except that Marlowe's autopsy is remarkably detailed and there were many witnesses who saw his corpse. For an Elizabethan death, Marlowe's is very well documented. Dude lived a violent, hedonistic life, and died that way (hell of a writer though.) I could go on and on through the various "who wrote Shakespeare" candidates but you get the picture from the Marlowe example. (Former Lit student hat off.)

Unless  Lolo  adopted  Barry,  then  the child  above  18 in 1980  -- Barry  --  would  not  have  been  the  child  of  the  "parties".  He  would  have been  only  the child  of  the  plaintiff  --  Stanley Ann.

Bill Ayers and Obama walk into  a bar.   The bartender asks Obama " what can I get for you and your friend?"

Obama looks puzzled and points to Bill Ayers and says "  That guy?  I've never seen him before in my life"

The bartender says "  I just saw you guys hug before you entered the bar. "

Obama looking puzzled again and says " what part of  'I only know this guy as someone who lives in my neighborhood' don't you understand?"

The bartender getting angry says " you just said you never saw him before in your life and now you say you know him as a neighbor"

Obama replied  " listen just because someone hosts a fund raiser for you at his house doesn't mean he's a friend"

The bartender incredulous says  "  now you not only know him but  he's given you money and had you to his house.  What are you a liar? "

Obama replied  " I'm not a liar but you are definitely a racist"

I know. I'm adopted, and I have two birth certificates.

.

.

.My wife adopted my son from my first marriage 32 years ago when we were married.  We have two birth certificates for him.  He is only aware of the one with her as the mother, and it is marked certified copy, the other is stamped original with a raised seal.  And the State (Mississippi) cant even tell him he is adopted unless they change the law.

262 Very curious indeed. Carney knew that the WH press corp had been told a falsehood about a very topical issue. Carney didn't volunteer any correction. Instead, he waited for a direct question. The explanation was that the prior answer was based on reading a book that, from my recollection, does not purport to answer the question. To know the explanation that he gave, Carney had to both talk to the President and research how the prior answer came about. But having done all that, he remained silent about a known falsehood until asked. Most transparent administration ever?

263 45 >>>4 The right is dumb for caring about who wrote that book. At best, it's a big "meh", because pretty much all politicians have ghost authors. At worst, it makes them look like petty lunatics. If it were established Ayers wrote the book, it would not only disprove Obama's alleged status as a "rara avis" and first rate literary genius, but also establish his close connection to Ayers, a man he claims he just "knew from around the neighborhood." I disagree with your claim this just doesn't matter or is "petty." Posted by: ace at December 05, 2013 02:59 PM (/FnUH) Yes, it matters if Ayers is the ghost author. It also matters that Obama didn't write it because his writing was evidence of his genius. And, in fact, Republican politicians now acknowledge their ghost writers because...well, because of media bias. People care a lot less that David Plouffe is almost surely the author of Audacity of Hope. In fact, I think Obama actually contributed notes and even some passages to Dreams from My Father, it's just that Ayers practically rewrote it from scratch.

273 Another good Lying Liar piece from American Spectator: THE LIARS CLUB Obama's lying goes back to Ayers. excerpt: Frankly I would have advised Our President to come clean about his bogus authorship years ago. Ayers is a decidedly shifty fellow and his wife, the former SDSer, Bernardine Dohrn, is worse. They were always spoiled university-bred radicals always expecting the Republic to fall for their Marxist mumbo jumbo. Yet America has never been very hospitable to the disciples of Papa Marx, much less when those disciples have pipe bombs in their hands. Now, at the end of a misspent life, Ayers suddenly anticipates yet another act. He will serve as a Saul Alinsky for the Millennials. He will write an updated Rules for Radicals with diagrams on how to disable mother’s smart phone or how to hack into her bank account. First, however, he needs to attract attention. My guess is that he will admit to having written Obama’s bestselling Dreams from My Father. He has suggested as much to the curious public. In October 2009 at Reagan National Airport when asked if he had “edited” the book for his friend, Obama, he told a friend of mine that, in fact, “I wrote it.” He explained that Michelle Obama had sought his help. In March 2011 during a question and answer session at Montclair State University he admitted authorship of the book, saying: “Did you know I wrote it,” and for emphasis he added, “I wrote ‘Dreams from My Father.’” Obama’s friends in the media wrote all this off to sarcasm on Ayers’ part. http://spectator.org/articles/56971/liars-club

299 "anyway he wrote it. imagine how bad it'd be if it were written by obama alone"

It would be like that horrible poem he wrote in school - only much, much longer.

Personally, I think that Ayers had a part in its writing, perhaps a large part. By his own admission, Obama had failed to deliver a manuscript on his first attempt at the book, and had had to return the advance. And, by his own admission, he was having still having trouble with the book. Anyone who's published a book (I've published five of them) will know what it means to be floundering in the middle of a project, with a deadline staring you in the face and not a clue what to do. It's only natural that Obama would turn to his friend Bill, the bestselling author, for help. And it's only natural that Bill, seeing a chance to do some preaching under the byline of Barack Obama (and maybe a cut of the royalties under the table) would help out - and by "help out", I mean "rewrite the MS".

It's all perfectly natural; no conspiracy theories needed. The funny thing is, Obama probably believes he really did write the thing himself; Ayers knows better, but he'll never spill the beans, certainly not to the detested Right. Therein lies the difference between Ayers the cynic and Obama the psychopath.

Posted by: Brown Line at December 05, 2013 03:51 PM (VrNoa) Ayers has once more spilled the beans. http://tinyurl.com/pqty4m9

325 309--- There was nobody with bigger behind the scenes political connections during that time that Thomas Ayers, Bill Ayers father. Just putting that out there. Posted by: JackStraw at December 05, 2013 03:53 PM (g1DWB) ---------------------- Good chance that's the link. I often wondered why Obama ended up in Chicago in the first place. Then you find out that Bill Ayers was in NYC at the same time Obama was at Columbia, in the same neighborhood, hanging out with the same left-wing crowd Obama says he hung out with. I suspect Ayers brought him to Chicago. Who knows? Of course, that doesn't explain how Obama ended up at Columbia.

I think there will be a tell-all book 10-15 years from now by someone who was in the White House.  We will find out that Valerie Jarrett was really running the government for 8 years, while Barack Obama slept 14 hours a day, watched ESPN most of the time he was awake, and is actually quite unintelligent.

329 It doesn't matter. Obama is president and will be for at least another three years. maybe longer. It doesn't matter if he robbed a bank when he was desperate for money, it doesn't matter if he killed his first wife. It doesn't matter. He is a democrat. He is black. He is president. He is surrounded by an army of loyalists, and another professional army of men with guns who know how to use them, and he has billions and billions of US Dollars on tap to pay lawyers, or bribe judges, or buy off anyone he wants.

Just give it up.

Yes, it does matter.  IF obama's true history is 10% of what many of us believe, then we have given the highest office in the land to a total grifter.  We need to know the truth, and if it's as we expect, it needs to be made known.  Else we've set a really really bad precedent.  If there's anything left of this country in 3 more years, we  don't want to repeat these kinds of mistakes in the future.  It does matter who this guy REALLY is.

Not only that, but we can beat the living shit out of the organized Left who foisted this fraud on America, for a generation.  Nobody will trust "their" candidate again.  They were either totally gullible or in on the lies.  The Democratic Party will either come apart or reorganize after kicking all these assholes out.

346 In fact. Billy Boy might get more attention if he said directly that he did write Obama's book and laid some realities about Obama on the MSM/ Let's face it, Ayers is probably much smarter and more clever than Obama and relishes that he pulled one over on the American public.

Ace is dead wrong about Ayer's demeanor in that clip. There is not a hint of sarcasm in his claim to have written Dreams, and the same seems to be true of the other times he has made this claim, which was also asserted by other Obama administration insiders, as reported in that all-access bio of Obama by that Andersen guy.

Art Moore at WND has for some reason taken to describing it as "ironic" when Ayers offers to split the royalties with anyone who can prove he wrote the book, but far from casting doubt on his admissions of authorship this Ayers trope explains his motivation: he is pissed about not getting any credit or money from the most influential thing he ever wrote, and the most revenue producing. In Moore's actual reporting shows Ayers seems perfectly sincere:

“Did you write ‘Dreams from My Father?’”

“Yes. I wrote that,” Ayers replied. “I’ve written many books for many Hyde Parkers, but that one I wrote. And it didn’t take long. I had a few interviews, and then I wrote it up. It took me about four months.”

Apparently alluding to Cashill’s comparative analysis, Ayers said, “And, I love the nautical imagery, which I also use in ‘Fugitive Days.’”

Ayers paused.

“Now, if you guys can help me prove this,” he said, smiling and eliciting laughter from his interviewers, “I’ll split the royalties with you. … I haven’t gotten a nickel from my effort.”

Without mentioning Cashill’s name, Ayers then referred to “a book comparing phrases from ‘Dreams from My Father.’”

“So, he’s proven it, kind of,” Ayers said of Cashill. “But I’m still not getting any royalty checks.”
