OMG its MONDAY [Purp]

You know what that means...

...the "long hot summer" of scandals is now officially in full swing. Indictments, frog marching, perp walks, its all on the table baby.

Unless of course you're in the north east. Then you're still getting snow.

3 Good Morning Morons.  Today is Monday, May 27, 2013, Memorial Day.   IÂ’m back from the road.  On this day in 1647 the first recorded execution of a witch, Alse Young (Alsach), was hanged for witchcraft.  There are no records of the trial.  The only thing known about her was that her husband had disappeared from the records and she had a son.  That meant that he would inherit her property.  MA, hanging those people other Americans refuse to do.

6 On this Memorial Day it is sad to note that across the country veteranÂ’s memorials are crumbling away because politicians have decided to spend money on bread and circuses instead of maintaining these monuments. Oh I am sure if the citizens put up a squawk they would agree to restore them provided they could float a bond issue or some other tax for funds.  A few dollars would be allocated and then the money would be quietly reallocated to other high profile socialist projects to buy votes.

11 Hideous woman arrested at Myrtle Beach for wearing a thong. (Look at your own risk).  It is illegal at MB to wear a thong or other similar bathing attire. Thongs were made illegal there many years ago as part of the Myrtle Beach “family” atmosphere for beaches.  Also in keeping with that meme, all alcohol on the beach is illegal.  When I first moved here if they caught you with a beer (or other) on the beach it was a quick trip to the pokey.  They are more lax now in that if you keep it out of open sight they usually will not bother you unless you become a public drunk.

PA, I prefer the term "felonies" as opposed to "scandals".  A scandal is when your drunk uncle shows up in church and yells at the preacher.  A felony is when they violate laws that are punishable by more than one year in jail or a $5K fine.

I really find a lot of the current (and soon to be worse) medical regulation to be "medicine by DMV rules".  The basic premise is that the individual is too stupid, or corrupt, or incompetent to make any "medical" decision without complying with a statist regulation.  But at least it's all free!
