15 Preparation of the battlespace: Cruz and Lee's stand in the Senate and the following denunciations by the Soviet Republicans is a preparation for the 2016 Presidential nomination run. We will be given Christie or Jeb Bush as the annointed Soviet Republican mainstream candidates. They will be denounced by the Conservative Right, who will stay home in droves. Hillary wins; that is the endgame. Who knows, McCain may end up being her running mate in a "unity" ticket. That would be the "safe" move for Hillary, to keep the rest of the Democrats fighting among themselves.

18 Preparation of the battlespace: Who are your neighbors? Do you know them? Are they lib Chetniks, or reliable? Where is your family? How safe is where ever that is? Can you reach them? Where are your assets? Are at least some of them in non-electronic form?

ObamaCare is a lie.  From its inception through propagation and finally promulgation, it has been sold to the American public with lie compounded upon lie.  Now it is the law of the land, as we have been reminded, ad nauseum - that is unless you received special dispensation from the king.

Where are the angry masses armed with pitchforks and torches?  Half of them are prostrated in their dens, sleeping off the effects of their last opium session paid for with their EBT cards.

20 I am pissed off & it's my own fault. I put on Sunday talk shows for 5 to 10 minutes at 10:30. I would leave one on for that long, all I heard was that Ted Cruz, Heritage, by trying to defund TFGCare has made Republican Party weaker. I think ABC had a group & the man said that it reenergized the party, which it did. I saw Miss Lindsey saying they know one never to try anything like that again. This defeatist attitude doesn't help them, plus it sounded exactly like what McCain said one day this week. Cruz & Lee did not shut government down, SCOAMF did. The House sents bill after bill keeping each dept open, but that evil litte SOB Reid refused to bring them to the senate floor for a vote. I will take Cruz, Lee, Paul & even Rubio (Mitch put him up to immigration) to do what's right for us, there are a few others like Sessions that usually do right thing. They have to fire all consultants that are left over from GWB term & get rid of rest of consultants That are paid whether they win or lose and stop paying attention to stupid pi polls. Instead they should listen to what constitituents say when they call their office. I highly doiubt McCain & Graham have had any call to praise them for theit behavior. First time I've watched any of those shows since Chris Wallace had Herman Cain in FNS & brought up that rock that Rick Perry has, & had ling ago painted over. I'm sure that surprise came from Karl Rove because he hates Perry, bad blood between Bushes & Perrys.i have read a few stories about it, but none are definitive on what started it. Republicans must return to conservative, small government party or they will be with the Whigs soon enough.

21 Republicans must return to conservative, small government party or they will be with the Whigs soon enough. Posted by: CarolT at October 20, 2013 02:53 PM (z4WKX) We've reached the point where it's difficult *not* to speculate how many are working for the other side of the political equation. I hate thinking of things in "my team their team" terms, but most people live in that mode. A large part of it is Government Culture - as I keep pointing out, politicians don't work for you, most of them don't even work for the party, they work for, work in, and are paid by the government. You aren't the boss, you aren't even the employee, you're the product. There have been surveys about the consequences of that, how *everyone* in government, left or right, trends more pro-government (and thus functionally left) than *everyone* outside it. Which is one reason why the left seem to keep winning and we perpetually fight our own party. In addition to all our regional and personal differences, this divides us as a culture. I guess *something* could be more dangerous, but that's pretty dangerous.

22 Merovign, Once the majority are elected, they become entrenched in the DC mindset. They only care about keeping that sear & power, and being invited to just the best cocktail parties. Term limits is the only answer, two terms for senators, six terms for representatives, if we can call them that. Reps only vote for what they want, not what, we, their employer want them to vote for. You are right that most of them are probably on other side. Do we ever hear dems knock each other in public? No they stick together & if there is any turmoil, they keep it quiet.

23 18 -- "lib Chetniks"? Um... the Chetniks were our allies, who we sold out to the Soviets and British (in this case, I repeat myself, since it was Soviet moles in GB who drove British foreign policy in the Balkans). I think you're thinking of the partisans, who were communists, or the Ustashas, who were Nazi-lovers.
