The Democrats think this kind inciting language has no ill effects but they're unthinkingly tearing away at the necessary social fabric for keeping a society running. You can only demonize people (including 47% of the country which is a lot of people) for so long. Not every Republican is an Orrin Hatch or John McCain who will continually turn the other cheek in the name of statesmanship and civility.
Their boyfriend won't be president forever nor will the Senate be always be Democratic-ruled. Yet they're crossing lines and taboos - last crossed in the late 1850s - as if the status quo will last forever. They're sowing the wind without any thought to the consequences.

Holy Shit: There were 6 Off-Duty Cops Among the Bikers in the NYC Biker Attack
Who did nothing to stop the beating of the driver. One of them was an undercover narcotics detective but the NYPD seems to be keeping the status of the others deliberately murky.
It has been reported this week that at least five off-duty cops witnessed the beating of Mr Lien, who was driving an SUV on the Henry Hudson Parkway last Sunday with his family inside.The incident left Lien needing stitches and motorcyclist Edwin Mieses Jr possibly paralyzed.
Among the officers reportedly riding in the biker rally were at least two detectives and three other officers who did little to stop the attack. One of the detectives, the undercover narcotics agent, watched as the violence broke out and chose not to break it up for fear of ruining his cover.
Undercover officers are required to immediately report being a witness to a crime. Uniformed officers are required to take police action if they see a crime occurring, but the rules are murkier for undercover officers who face blowing their cover
...The five officers were not the only ones present, WABC is reporting that the NYPD is investigating whether several off-duty corrections officers were also there. Police who saw the violent attack did not begin coming forward until Wednesday - four days later.

Bohner should just make the democrats pass their government back to work bills themselves by that discharge petition in the House, and convincing enough (17?) republicans to vote for it.
Why is it Bohner has to get the votes? Why isn't it the democrats have to get enough votes to pass it. This is a two party system. If the republicans can't pass a bill, the democrats have to do it, and they should get the credit for it when they do, like they get credit for Obama's Federal Health Insurance Online Exchange that doesn't work so well selling health insurance no one can afford.

Hopefully, it won't come to that, but starting to think that now is probably best for the long run. It is going to be a brute force contest of some kind, on some plane. The goal is to prepare for the most brutal plane, assume it is going to happen, and then see if you can resolve it on a lesser.

Well, there is alot of room in it.
Other than just literally a line or two copied from another HQ comment never directly cut and paste blocks of text from Word or from any website, including the HQ itself, into the comments box, Doctor Fish. Always cut and paste (largish) text blocks into MS Notepad first to change it to plain text and then cut and paste it into the comment box.

There is two different scenarios: Either they are corrupt and part of the gang or all undercover and none of the bikers knew that there where cops in there group when they first encountered the Range Rover and did the break check that cause it to hit the the bike in the first place. Based on Bloomberg and Commissioner Ray Kelly's past with undercover cops all over occupy ect I would put that they are all undercover on very deep gun running and/or drug bust that could not be compromised no matter what the biker gang did to anyone on the bike parade.

The picture that seems to be emerging is one in which everyone in that bike "rally" who wasn't a cop of some sort was a serious career-criminal scumbag with a rap sheet longer than John Kerry's face.
And, of course, the vast majority of previous offenses by those offenders picked them up absolutely minimal time-served sentences, if that.
Want to not have criminal biker gangs running amuck? Maybe, just maybe, actually putting criminals in prison and actually keeping them there would be a start.

Internet is odd here. Work network blocks damn near everything. Can't even do an image search. Although in Jalalabad (different battalion), you can get to image search, but it's locked on safe search. Both of them block all the tinyurl and tinypic and similar sites, so I miss a lot of the links and pics that people share, here and on other sites.
Commercial internet is $99 a month, for what speedtest.net shows as about 0.12 on a very good day. They don't block much, but video doesn't work, and it won't load a comments page here over about 200 comments.
Work blocks mu.nu but not minx.cc, so I get up in the morning, check the ONT link on the commercial internet, then come to the office to hang out with you guys. As long as I get that six-digit number I can go straight to it.
And seriously, ONT is the highlight of my day. It's all downhill after this.
