Overnight Open Thread (10 May 2013)
— CDR M

Wow. What a week. Benghazi. IRS. So much out there for journalists to sink their teeth into and yet, they avoid it like the plague. Of course they parrot the IRS talking points that there wasn't any political bias in their wayward investigations.

approximately 75 of the 300 groups that were filed for further review were simply filed because they had the names "tea party" and "patriot," Lerner said.

"They did pick the cases by names and that's absolutely inappropriate and not the way we should do things," she said, though stressing it was done as a "shortcut," not out of "political bias."

Yeah, those aren't biased. Puhlease.

But don't worry, they are only "rogue, low level" agents that did this. Nobody in position of authority knew. Does anyone in position of authority know anything in this administration? America's Most Trusted

We're fucked. Tom Hanks voted America's most trusted person. The list is riddled with celebrities and lefties. Ironic that actors are viewed as trusted but the public only knows their public side/fictional character roles and not who they really are in private. Is that really trustworthy?

The highest non-Hollywood entry on the list is author and academic Maya Angelou, at no 5, while the most highly rated active former or current political officeholder (discounting the first lady) is Madeleine Albright, secretary of state from 1991 to 2001, at no 23. Activist academic Noam Chomsky came in ahead of Albright, at no 20.

Beer Delivery

Ain't technology grand? Imagine you are walking down the street and you feel the need for a nice, frosty beer. You whip out your smart phone, open the beer delivery app and order one. A minute or two later, it gets air dropped to you. That is sweet. Although, if you are in a crowd, I can already see the fights breaking out. Oh, and imagine the liability insurance. Parachutes are known to fail.

I just might have to add this item to my survival kit. A pint that fits in your pocket.

Tatera’s brewing process starts like that of any ale. He boils water and malt to create wort—unfermented beer—then cools the mixture and adds yeast to ferment it. Instead of finishing the brew there, he builds a concentrate. He vacuum distills the mixture and reserves the ethanol, leaving behind a syrup. Then he starts the process again, adding the syrup instead of water. He ferments again, removes the ethanol, and repeats. In total, he brews each batch four times. He then soaks hops in the reserved alcohol and adds it to the syrup. The final concentrate is 10 times the strength of beer, and with the addition of water, it’s ready to drink. Just add bubbles.

Weird Beauty Treatments

So what are you willing to try in order to feel or look more beautiful? Would you try sheep placenta or bull semen hair conditioner?

It may sound like something from There's Something About Mary, but Hari's hairdressers, in Knightsbridge, London, offers clients organically-produced bull's semen combined with the root of protein-rich plant katera to massage into their hair as part of a deluxe blow-dry. Owner Hari Salem is quick to reassure that "the semen is refrigerated before use and doesn't smell". "It will be an ongoing treatment as long as the bulls perform," he noted.

Ball Sacks and Global Warming

Did you know that Kangaroo Scrotums are the new victims of Global Warming?

Climate change is a huge concern for many, many reasons: the ice caps are melting, droughts are sweeping the world, and mega-hurricanes are striking cities that have never before had to weather such storms. But itÂ’s only recently that climate change has threatened AustraliaÂ’s hilarious but substantial kangaroo nutsack trade. The hopping marsupialsÂ’ scrotums, which are crafted into souvenir bottle-openers and key rings, have made manufacturer John Kreuger, hereby known (by me) as the King of Ballsacks, hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What the hell is a mega hurricane? Those storms in that movie 2012 i.e. not something in real life?

Mother's Day Is Coming

Don't forget, Sunday is Mother's Day. 10 new things science says about Moms.

4) Even mom spit is special: A recent article in the journal Pediatrics recommended that mothers clean off their childÂ’s pacifier by putting it in their own mouths. ThatÂ’s right. What the researchers found is that infants whose mothers sucked on their pacifiers to clean them developed fewer allergies than children whose mothers rinsed or boiled the pacifiers. The children of moms who gave pacifiers a mouth rinse also had lower rates of eczema, fewer signs of asthma and smaller amounts of a type of white blood cell that rises in response to allergies and other disorders. The findings are in line with the growing evidence that some exposure to germs at a young age can be good for kids.

7 When It Comes To Infanticide, Gosnell Is No Exception Indicted Murderer and post-birth abortionist Kermit Gosnell is often dismissed as an aberration and completely atypical of how “proper” clinics operate. This, sadly, is untrue. An undercover video from New York shows how if the child survives the abortion and is born alive, the clinic will drown it in a “toxic solution,” or baring that, just flush “it” down the toilet. To answer your question from the last thread:

Yeah, we can hear the drones. The USBP drones (Predator B) launch from Libby Army Air Field 14 miles NW of me. They max out at about 10k feet above the house (around 15k ASL). They aren't loud, but we live in a quiet rural area that allows for any aircraft to be heard. That includes ultra-lights that cartels fly up here (one dropped a load just 2.5 miles west of me several weeks ago).

My thermal Scout monocular sees them without problem.

52 I just left a long rant bomb below, which ended the Jay Carney link as I am talented that way. Plus I got distracted mid-rant by a phone call but let her fly anyway. To sum in less than a billion words (but still too many as that is how I roll):

1) General Paetraeus may enter our lives again or someone under his immediate command in the CIA as he knew within 24 hrs this was Al Qaeda in Benghazi. However! A quick trip to the WH, and their knowledge of his gf, changed his tune. Then he left two months after the attack. The CIA is going to blow their whistle, y'all, and we may find out who called the "stand down." 2) Cheryl Mills' emails, new "buck stops here" candidate...but her buck was under Chillery's, which is a wide load in a green pantsuit who doesn't matter anymore, Pay attention to this mysterious woman. 3) Jay Carney lost control of narrative today. I am certain he gagged at one point, but I do not want to see his squinchy little weasel face again to document it. I think the term excreting pickles applies here. Reporters were not happy, being left out of the doughnut and coffee party as he chose the popular ones. Lots of bristles and high dudgeon and Helen Thomas was not even present.

Our beloved mainstream media like to look as if they are on top and super smart. They like to bet on the winner. They have sort of coasted on the sharp creases of The Won's trouser and his tail, trailing clouds of glitter and unicorn farts. Suddenly, as if the toad kissed them awake, they realize they have been lied to as they caught the contagious bacterial infection and helped it spread by their own synergistic malevolent hatred of the Republicans and all who question this administration. All of a sudden, in less than a month, there is radical Islamic terrorism in Boston; respected whistleblowers on Capitol Hill laying bare their souls as to what really happened in Benghazi; a selective doughnut brunch today with the press sec of the most transparent administration evah---and no one likes cliques or a show of favoritism, including the press; and last, but not least, a wide-open investigation of the IRS who targeted those evil Tea Party people on the same day as this press conference...all resulting in both whiplash and regret. They have quite a lot of road to make up to catch up with FOX (Catherine Herridge, Jennifer Grissom, Rosen, etc), Jake Tapper and Attkisson. I hope this was a start with ABC to attempt to redeem themselves...well, maybe not redeem, but at least start doing their job.

101 @71...Molly, it is probably good that she wants to stay home for a year, as the first year makes kids loco. My sons were both hours away, but they reported that many they knew joined the binge-drinking frats (binge drinking for Morons who are mostly adults without pants is excused). She sounds like a smart girl, congratulations! And she wants to actually stay, so she must love you and is not ready to leave. Maybe next year she will want more independence. Trust me, you miss them, so enjoy this time. For gift I would say money (equal to others) plus a little gift of jewelry. But I did not have daughters so I know nothing (like Manuel on Faulty Towers), but I believe no one can ever go wrong with pearls.

108 65 Is anybody going to mention the Jason Richwine thing? This is real, textbook McCarthyism* taking hold. I know Monty did a post at this very site within the past two weeks saying basically the same thing Richwine said in his dissertation-for-which-he-must-be-destroyed. Has everyone in the right-of-center media just come to accept that even studying certain politically incorrect subjects is a death penalty for public life? Is this what Rush was talking about today? I had never heard of it, but it reminded me of the Larry Summers thing, when he had the gall to suggest that, perhaps, men and women were slightly different in what areas of study they choose, based on biology. The horror! Why is it that these so-called proponents of diversity can't stand it when anyone's diverse?

Now, if the Horde is willing to pitch in for a 40mm Bofors...

Pug, what is chilling is a neighbor and her daughter were attacked and beaten for their car just a quarter mile east of me. An elderly couple was beaten for the same reason 4 miles west. He didn't survive.

Another vehicle was stolen in the same area, and when chase was given by the Sheriff's Department... A couple was KIA when the illegals avoided the tire spikes.

That doesn't even consider when Rob Krentz was KIA, and his wife and friend run over by a Mexican several months later.

It has calmed down some since then, but it is again ramping up. Places that used to be swarming with USBP are empty. Drones are handy, but if there are no boots on the ground to capture the illegal smugglers; well, it is useless.

In my case it was without a doubt software, it would run all day long in safe mode even with networking enabled but within 5 min of booting it up regularly it would go off like someone unplugged it and dropped the battery. Restoring from a backup would work as long as I had updates turned off. Since I've gotten rid of Java I haven't had any more problems with it just shutting down, but occasionally I will have to reboot it because some of the apps (Firefox for instance) won't start up.

Her covering of F&F probably got her some good will from the higher ups at CBS to keep pushing the Benghazi story. She is in her 50's now, and is trying to set up her next "news gig". If she can pop a huge story like this, she will be in serious contention for the anchor desk.

Cardinal Sean P. OÂ’Malley, the archbishop of the Boston Archdiocese, said today he would not attend Boston CollegeÂ’s commencement because the scheduled speaker, Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, supports controversial abortion-rights legislation in his country.

1. Good for Cardinal Sean.

Are your video cards integrated?  If not, swap them out and see if it works.  If one isn't you could always head to a local computer store and see if they have any old ones that they could sell you.  I got one for like 20 bucks to verify that it had been my card.

But the cartels weren't smuggling there. They were hitting the harder areas. Areas that had no ready food, water, and porta-potties. Now, there are units that are willing to hit those areas. Well equipped, well trained, and having comms back to the towns they guard.

Ireland doesn't have abortion free-for-alls like we do, here, ...yet...but the law the Irish Left wants to pass is just the beginning of the darkness:

You could be right, but I offer an alternate prediction derived from voodoo techniques applied to a frozen chicken dinner.

Of the percentage between 0 - 100%:

there will be a small group (<15%) that may even start to feel like rabid Nixon supporters that learned the hard way and grow up a little.  Don't expect miracles, just a little more reflection before they adopt their next idiotic position.

there will a group of racists (10%-30%) that will never allow themselves past their own racism.  They will say every bit of every thing is racist and never stop blowing this administration no matter what.  Later, they will blow the ghost of this administration.

there will be a small group (<5%) that we will eventually find out have actually known all along but kept their heads down because they wanted a paycheck.

the rest are assholes that HATE the dreaded, evil conservatives so much that nothing will ever overcome that.  They will accept anything as long as they get to hate you.

183 So here's my IRS story so listen up. This shit goes a lot deeper than tea party or patriot. I submitted IRS form 1024 in January 2012 for an ENVIRONMENTAL NGO IN PERU. IRS rules state you will receive a determination letter for tax exempt status or notice of development in 90 days so May 2012. My former accountant checked the 501(c)4 box instead of the box for 501(c)3. Everything else is kosher. Guess when I receive the exact same notice of development and questionnaire those tea party groups received. September just like them. Guess when my determination was made? November 8. What a coinky dink huh? Three possible reasons. 1)they actually were back logged 2)they were targeting ALL applications from red states or 3)they were doing background on all signatories to see if the were right leaning and if so DELAYED. After today's admission which of those can you eliminate. Congress should see when their notices of development were issued and when the determination was made. I'm guessing a whole chunk of red state apps have the same dates.

Lol, I got an open container once walking out of Grand Central Terminal on St. Patty's Day. It was fucking bullshit, I had it in a brown paper bag. Anyway, just ignored it then got a court summons warning a warrant was out for my arrest several months later. Went down and had to pay a $25 fine and attend a quality of life class after court. That was some class, the black kid in jail all weekend for smoking a blunt on his stoop, a couple prostitutes, and the cabbie who pulled over and took a piss in a bottle. I'm pretty sure one of my friends still has a warrant out as he ignored the summons. NYC sucks.

206 "before it boots up."
Mainly it wasn't even getting to any of the XP booting information that usually comes up as white letters on the black background before the "XP is loading" page is displayed before it goes onto being fully loaded desktop display. My screen would just remain black and the LED's own information would be displayed running through its Digital, HMDI and one other screen type.

Hitting the box's own start button wouldn't change anything or it would just go back to the screen information but turning it off and on from the power bar (while sometimes hitting the physical On button?) eventually got a proper loading going on all the way up to the desktop but it would die again after the system tray icons were fully loaded.

After this happened a couple of times, I tried just going to Restart directly as soon as I had the desktop display but it died again too. So the second time I started it in Safe Mode after I restarted it. It was fine for the 3 or so hours in Safe Mode so I restarted it again in normal mode and it lasted for about 1 hour more working fine. It then died again and seeing as the hockey was about to start and I was furious slightly perturbed, I left it alone.

And sorry for it taking so long to reply; the keyboard I'm using is one of those newer ones with keys that aren't as tall as usual and isn't very long so my fingers are cramped for space on the keyboard.

He said, ‘I can’t tell you that.’” FAA spokesman Jim Peters would only say, “We have to be very careful this time”... THIS time? Does that mean something? “If it’s an operation that requires some secrecy, that can be appreciated by residents,” said Palmucci. “Just at the very least if the FAA can release something that says there’s nothing that should cause folks any concern, I think that would put people at ease.” Why would we want to reassure the public that a manned airplane circling the city at night is no threat? 296 Probably this. What I'm seeing/hearing is that she's getting all kinds of grief from the higher-ups at CBS. Maybe if ABC makes the break and goes rogue-independent-journalist, she could catch on there, but otherwise, it's either Fox or Beck's The Blaze as her next employment destination. Posted by: filbert the Whig at May 10, 2013 10:46 PM (7vimm) Unless the story really breaks. Then they have a superstar reporter on their hands who can write her own ticket. But, that may mean CBS says "sorry, we can't match ABC's offer" or they put her on some "newsmagazine" show that is ripe for cancellation. This Blaze thing from Beck is appearing more and more appealing.

They're not quite up to disappearing American citizens yet, so this will have to do. The criminalization of your everyday American and bureaucrats with enforcement powers and no checks on their powers to harass good people for no reason is pretty terrifying though...and that program is going along well.

302 We have a "teen mom" from my town. Her dad is a dentist and has lost half of his business over it. I watched one episode just to confirm to myself that pulling my familyfrom his practice was the right thing to do. It clearly was, he is now harrassing my oldest daughter and she is considering getting a restraining order. He is being very sneaky about it in ways that he won't flat out get nailed but it's disgusting none the less. John Kennedy served on the same committee as Joe McCarthy, not Robert.  Robert was not nearly old enough or elected to the Senate yet.

Joe was also one of 1200 people invited to John and Jackie's wedding.  The old man, Joseph Kennedy Sr. liked Joe McCarthy. If you remember Lloyd Bentsen's clever little put-down of Dan Quayle in 1988, Bentsen could claim to have been at John and Jackie's wedding too. Along with 1200 other people, and Joe McCarthy.  Some company he kept.

HUAC, in the late 30's and 40's, was all about chasing down NAZI symps  (and sometimes Reds too) in the US, and Democrats were pleased as punch about it then, as they dominated the committee and did a lot of destructive things to people who may have only been peripheral to NAZI movement or the American Bundt  (German sympathizers in the 30's to Hitler, among them Charles Lindbergh, who once spoke at an American Bundt rally in New York City - Madison Square Garden, I think).

A lot of the Democrats really hated HUAC in the late 40's and early 50's when the Republicans controlled the House and went after the Reds and their symps in the government.

336 Good evening, good people. Just finished cleaning equipment after painting the side of the Ramcharger, where it was keyed. Lucked out and got a perfect color match for once. Easy fix, the paint is only 4 years old so the fade is minimal. Posted by: irongrampa at May 10, 2013 11:16 PM Those who "key" cars should be dragged to the Town Square and have their ass whipped with the antennae from a 1962 Chrysler Imperial. The rates of "car keying" and a whole lot of other "petty" crimes would plummet overnight. Good job on the color match, that can be difficult.

Fun times!  Especially waking up in the morning and seeing your breath in the air!  I was out of power for 10 days too, but fortunately followed all the suggestions in my handy Boy Scouts handbook and kept the GF and our 4 animals warm enough to live through it.  The biggest challenge was keeping a fire going for the last week to keep the house warm until Duke Power circled back and finally hooked us up.

Posted by: AZ Hi Desert (All my Hate cannot be found) at May 10, 2013 11:39 PM (ial2b) Yeah, we got robbed within the first 6 months of living there. While I was in the apt. Nothing like waking up one morning to discover that someone broke into your apt and opened your bedroom door. Pretty fucking sobering to realize that someone could have just as easily slit your throat as run away.

375 Back in my stupid youth, when I was trying my hardest to be liberal, so as to be cool, I tried liking Maya Angelou, and gave up. Worthless twaddle. Don't worry; I only tried that half-hearted enterprise for a few short months, but it didn't make sense, so I gave it up right away. Which is why I have no quarter for the fucktards my age (and older) who still go on with their illogical bullshit. And there's no fuckin way that survey was of normal people.

Young Guevara had a melanin-rich teacher who specialized in assigning to the class everything down to every fucking grocery list Maya Angelou ever wrote. I have the same reaction to varying degrees to almost ALL sports commentators. At least some of the male ones have a clue about the sport by virtue of having it played it for a living. OTOH, most of them are pretty stupid, and it shows in their commentary.

The distaff ones may or may not be stupid, but not having played the sport at a serious level, typically don't know shit about it.

541 It's pretty easy to fake Angelou's stuff, btw. Just take a whole bunch of bad haikus and string 'em together until you get a couple hundred lines of the kind of stuff you'll hear the next time you go to a local writers' club meeting at your nearest Barnes & Noble.

Case in point, a "stanza" from "Men":
---------------------------------------
When I was young, I used to
Watch behind the curtains
As men walked up and down the street. Wino men, old men.
Young men sharp as mustard.
See them. Men are always
Going somewhere.
They knew I was there. Fifteen
Years old and starving for them.
Under my window, they would pause,
Their shoulders high like the
Breasts of a young girl,
Jacket tails slapping over
Those behinds,
Men.
----------------------------------------
Take a (thoroughly depressing) piece of art like Plath's "Edge," for a bit o' compare and contrast:
----------------------------------------
The woman is perfected
Her dead

Body wears the smile of accomplishment,
The illusion of a Greek necessity

Flows in the scrolls of her toga,
Her bare

Feet seem to be saying:
We have come so far, it is over.

Each dead child coiled, a white serpent,
One at each little

Pitcher of milk, now empty
She has folded

Them back into her body as petals
Of a rose close when the garden

Stiffens and odors bleed
From the sweet, deep throats of the night flower.

The moon has nothing to be sad about,
Staring from her hood of bone.

She is used to this sort of thing.
Her blacks crackle and drag.
--------------------------------------

In Angelou's poem, changing line breaks and adding
spaces between lines would change absolutely nothing.
It would still be the same drawling ramble of a monologue.

Try to change anything in Plath's and you screw it up,
you lose every punch in the gut. Plath's message may be
something to be fought against, but it is art, and demands
attention at that level.

Angelou could write something truly life-changing in a good
way, but it would get lost in the incompetence of her delivery.

Bah. Humbug. Etc.

That's why I always loved Jack Cristil broadcasting Mississippi State.  From an article about his retirement a few years ago:

There's an economy of words to Cristil's call, and that's due in part to the marching orders he received from Dudy Noble back in '53.

"When he hired me he said, 'Boy' -- I found out later that if he didn't know your name he called everybody 'boy,'" Cristil said. "He said, 'Boy, here's what I want you to do. You tell that radio audience what the score is, who's got the ball and how much time is left and you cut out the bull----.' So I've always tried to tell 'em who's got the ball, what the score is and how much time is left."

Hillarious:

NPR: "Republicans have been howling for months that the administration misled the public with its initial accounts of the event. Those claims are now gaining traction in the media, thanks in part to a high-profile hearing on Wednesday that clearly fostered a sense among reporters that there was indeed substance to the allegations of wrongdoing."

My libtard brother made a comment that expressed confusion and disbelief - something to the effect of ,"I don't understand why anybody would have lied about what was going on in Libya."

So now, 8 months later - when it was obvious 2 DAYS later - these guys are incredulous at the idea that the State Department may have actually lied, after all. Apparently, there has been a crack in the libtard bubble.

I think that what is heppening with Benghazi is that just enough people are catching on that the media has to cover it a bit. So despite their desperate attempts to smother the story, it has slowly grown legs.

If they don't cover it, people will notice and pay it more attention. Yet if they do, more people may notice and demand answers.

So the left is trying desperately to spin the story back to sleep. I pray they fail.

Regarding mother spit: I remember Randi Andi Sullivan having a cow when Sarah Palin used spit to groom a child before they appeared at the RNC convention. Sullivan thought it was the most declasse, disgusting thing ever (I would rank sticking your dick in another man's ass as much more disgusting, but that's just me.) I believe that moment was the start of his Palin uterus obsession. Me, I thought the moment was endearing. I was reminded of my mom's attempting to smooth my brother's unruly cowlicks with a "spittake" before Mass.

I think Sullivan has serious mommy issues.

687 #614 - "2) We're not going to ever make public policy on "group IQ" so, to quote someone who's been in the news recently, "what does it matter, at this point?"" Well, except that we already are, i.e. amnestying and increasing immigration flows indiscriminately from countries with low average IQs on the premise that they don't actually have lower average IQs or that IQ doesn't exist or whatever, and devoting exponentially increasing funds to "education" to close the "achievement gap" on the premise that all groups have the same average IQ or that IQ doesn't exist or whatever... unless you're part of the IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH crowd I don't think there are many fields where you can just wave your hand and say we don't make policy on that so I don't care if anyone who looks into that gets their life destroyed for it... "3) Goddammit Heritage! Could you not see this coming?" Dunno exactly what you mean by this, but I guess what you're saying is that nobody should hire anyone who has anything politically incorrect in their background or at least that they should stick them in the back office and never let them see the light of day? Or maybe they should have "seen it coming" that if this came to light they would totally self-immolate and fire the guy immediately rather than defend it? The first is nothing short of a total surrender to PC leftism, the second is, I guess, a reasonable position that if you're going to toe the line of PC leftism you should be thorough about it.

688 >> I'm looking at something like this, http://tinyurl.com/d26b5su Umm, yeah. No. That'll just transfer the kick to her shoulder. It's awful hard to reduce felt recoil from a pump shotgun. The shocking revelation from the old days was that a 12 gauge kicks about like a .300 Win. Mag. People who've shot a dove field all day get scared of the .300 Win. Mag. for no reason. Recoil has a huge reverse placebo effect running through it. The gun won't really hurt you, so there's nothing to be afraid of with recoil. IOW, toughen her up.

Instapundit is a genius but not a conservative. This is the sort of thing that keeps him on the reservation as an anti-liberal. They really do want to take your freedom. It is that simple. I have been toying with a mind game that goes something like this --

we should have a rule that applies (written or otherwise) --

whenever a legislator of any type (local, state, federal) votes for a law that will not apply to them, they are voting away the application of all other laws that apply to them as well.  In other words, we can jail them without trial, torture them for a confession, deny them the right to speak, bear arms, make them quarter soldiers or welfare recipients, take their property or life without due process, etc.

If one law doesn't apply to you, then none of the others do either.

I have fired my 91/30s with glee. Yesthey have stout recoil, but even they do not compare to my 870.

I am hoping the Enidine recoil reducer works. If not I will try having the barrel back bored. Then I will sell it if that doesn't help.

With the proceeds I will buy a 20 gauge because I still love shotguns.

Ray Sist, I have seen mixed opinons on shotgun muzzle breaks. Some swear by them while others swear they are BS.

My advice is have the forcing cone bored out and invest in a recoil reducing stock and soft butt pad.

If that doesn't do it step down. A 20 gauge has 75% of the payload of a 12 ga with about half the recoil.

751 Tilikum, I'm flattered that somebody read my stupid post, but I was talking about a muzzle brake.

It usually goes where the flash suppressor/muzzle compensator would be. On certain main battle tanks it's near the center of the barrel.

It's supposed to be ported so that the explosive gas pressure from the firing of the round pulls the barrel away from your shoulder or whatever.

Once bitten, twice shy. If you have heard Charles Murray talk about his Bell Curve experience down in the undercircles of media where nobody notices, it's clear that he hasn't changed his mind about anything that he wrote - which is entirely right, since none of the outrage over what he wrote ever put up any facts or data that actually disputed what he wrote. But in his official media role, he still can't give a full throated defense of Richwine saying the same things he said, probably because he was hired on the condition of never saying those things again.

784 It amazes me that the first go-to excuse for this Administration is largely that of grotesque incompetence -- basically admitting they shouldn't have the position they do.

Holder, Napolitano, Clinton, Obama, and now the IRS (Geitner?).  So basically they are all admitting they have no supervisory skills, that their underlings have complete power, and that they themselves are completely useless.

Could be an overheating problem, maybe a flakey CPU fan?  I use a free program Speedfan, (you can google it), at home and work. It'll show you the temperatures of various internal components, and the speed of whatever fans you have.

I had similar problems about a month ago, It needed a new CPU fan. I bought a new cooler unit for $35.00. all's good now.
