Tonight might be a good night to lock your doors and polish up the old family silver in .45 and .357.
If you're short, try here and ask about their overnight delivery options.

If the roles were reversed, Democrats would never have let the nominee get confirmed. Thanks to the GOP, we have a Washington where stellar candidates such as John Bolton and Miguel Estrada do not get confirmed, but a pro-Iranian anti-Israeli dolt like Chuck Hagel gets through.

Moe Lane: Obama as a Role-playing Gamer
Sure it's kinda geeky but I think it's also dead on.
This next part is unavoidably geeky, but necessary: because it's there where you can find the specialized jargon that can describe the Obama administration. To sum it up for the gaming geeks who are reading this: Barack Obama is a munchkin mini-maxer who has put all of his points into "winning elections" because he found an exploit that made him President early. And now he's trying to solve everything else via The Gun Is My Skill List and/or button-mashing, with predictable results....No, seriously: if you have a very specific background that entire paragraph makes crystalline sense. But I will happily translate.
To begin with: a munchkin (or power gamer, or mini-maxer, or a bunch of terms that cannot be repeated here) is a type of gamer (roleplaying, computer, roleplaying-computer) who looks for loopholes in the rules - because games have rules, and there isn't a ruleset in the world that cannot be manipulated by somebody with enough motivation/obsession. And it turns out that the American Democratic primary system was full of such loopholes, which is why Barack Obama won the nomination in 2008 despite losing almost all the big Democratic primary states (and arguably the popular vote, depending on how you score Michigan).
...Mini-maxing is when a player designs a character that is fantastically good at one thing, at the expense of everything else. So you could end up with a character who is, say, obscenely good at hitting things with a sword - but can't convince a bunch of sailors to drink free beer. The mini-maxer doesn't mind; he'll just go around the game trying to resolve as many problems as he can by hitting them with a sword (tabletop gamers - err, "D&D players" - often call this The Gun is My Skill List, although obviously substitute a sword for a gun in the name).
Minitrue (MSM Division) Cleans up after Michelle Obama
To save your precious viewing time.
ABC is defending its decision to edit out an apparently erroneous claim by Michelle Obama in its broadcast of the first lady's interview on Good Morning America today, saying it made the changes "solely" for the sake of time.As The Washington Examiner reported this morning, the first lady claimed during an interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts that 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton, who was killed in Chicago shortly after performing during the President's Inauguration, was shot because "some kids had some automatic weapons they didn't need."
In fact, Chicago Police reported Pendleton was shot by a man who "opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car," according to the Associated Press.
For the broadcast, ABC's Good Morning America producers edited out the first lady's "automatic weapon" line.
Ranked as of today.
Abbott believes that a space object about 300 meters in diameter hit the Gulf of Carpentaria, north of Australia, in 536 A.D. An object that size, striking at up to 50,000 miles per hour, could release as much energy as 1,000 nuclear bombs. Debris, dust, and gases thrown into the atmosphere by the impact would have blocked sunlight, temporarily cooling the planet-and indeed, contemporaneous accounts describe dim skies, cold summers, and poor harvests in 536 and 537.
...What's more, the Gulf of Carpentaria object was a skipping stone compared with an object that Abbott thinks whammed into the Indian Ocean near Madagascar some 4,800 years ago, or about 2,800 B.C. Researchers generally assume that a space object a kilometer or more across would cause significant global harm: widespread destruction, severe acid rain, and dust storms that would darken the world's skies for decades. The object that hit the Indian Ocean was three to five kilometers across, Abbott believes, and caused a tsunami in the Pacific 600 feet high-many times higher than the 2004 tsunami that struck Southeast Asia. Ancient texts such as Genesis and the Epic of Gilgamesh support her conjecture, describing an unspeakable planetary flood in roughly the same time period.

In my dysfunctional state of Florida a man faces 3rd degree felony charges for releasing helium filled balloons as a display of affection for his sweetheart. Apparently it's a crime against the environment.
Meanwhile the president is releasing hundreds of illegals to pollute the environment, but that's ok.
Our corrupt and inept congress approved a dunderhead as Sec. of Defense and he was apparently late today for his first day on the job. Traffic was his excuse. He will be in good dunderhead company with Biden, Kerry, Boner and Reid.
We are funding and supplying weapons to terrorist groups disguised as governments in North Africa, the M.E. and who knows where else. This will end well.
The economy is going down the tubes and we are told don't worry, be happy. It's getting better, really.
If the history of what was America is ever written by smart and honest historians, I hope they ask; "WTF were you thinking? You had the best system any country did or could have and you blew it." If I am alive, and that happens I can say there was a remnant, a small remnant that did speak out and sounded the alarm. They went by many names, Tea Party was one. The People of the Horde was another. But they were laughed at, called extreme, reactionary, were ridiculed and they were ignored.

I feel the need to transmit my respectful but direct disagreement with your AoSHQ Sidebar link entitled, "Hot blue on blue action - Michael Moore vs BuzzFeed."
As you are well aware, the terminology of 'Blue' and 'Red' is derived from simulated war exercises, otherwise known as war games. In particular, it heralds from those military manoeuvres of an electronically visualised nature.
The color Red has since the beginning of recorded history been understood to represent 'danger,' 'alarum,' or 'threat.' And, as such, many if not most war-game designers have designated the color Red as the signal for an enemy side, position, or troop.
Given such in addition the fact that AoSHQ commenters consider themselves to be of a conservative nature, I find the phrasing "blue on blue" to be erroneous. It would seem, dear sirrah, that the more accurate term of art might be 'RED ON MUTHERFUCKING RED, BIYATCH!'
Kindest of regards, Your humble servant, Peace be upon you and yours,

He makes a modest statement on the reality of what was said, and the little Mini-truth acolytes come out to dutifully denounce him.
And yes, this is why our country is screwed, blued and tattooed.

One of the reasons we lose to the left is that they coalesce around a leadership hierarchy and do what they are told. So..for example Clarence Thomas shouldn't have been confirmed for the SC because he flirted with a woman, but Bill Clinton should be president because it wasn't really rape-rape or something.
Conversely if you get conservative together you get disagreement. If you include elected Republicans who aren't generally conservatives, you get across the political spectrum disagreement and the office holder doing whatever is in his or her interest at the moment - and screw you teabagger radical extremists!!!
Or political system was designed to handle 20% or so of the electorate being doctrinaire ideologues devoted to destroying any restrictions on political power.

Hey morans, sorry I disappeared for a bit.
But did I call it or what. They are MISCALCULATING big time. The gun push (see 1994) and now going after a MAIN ICON LIBERAL JOURNALIST Bob Woodward. I mean this guy is being THREATENED and he still is not being "super mean" to zero. And yet they have the knives out. This is going to cause problems among the ranks.
Politics ebbs and flows in waves. We have gone hard hard left with dire consequences for no good reason and the leftists in the media have provided cover. The lie is being exposed piece by piece. When you have a LIBERAL ICON like Woodward threatened explicitly by zero and politico provides the interview piece to back him up and verifies Woodward with independent claims, THE MASK IS STARTING TO FALL.
This is a big big deal. I think many democrats are beginning to realize zero does not care about the party, he has a crazy agenda and will push the party to its breaking point. I cannot tell you how many dems are so pro-gun that they will throw these fuckers out on that issue alone. It's a lot.
And btw, did I not call it with that Cantor fuck. He just oozes slimy. And it ain't just the optics. Now I hear Levin going nuts on this idiot for pushing the violence against women act. That's the HILL the GOP needs to die on. Yeah, right. Give me a fucking break. An unconstitutional POS bill.
Zero is fucking up here. Big time. IMHO.

I was thinking this while reading this morning's THC. That was a total gloom fest, woe is us. I'm going, well we didn't lose by that much, a couple percent, a swing of less than .5 million votes would have switched the outcome, Obummer got 4 million LESS votes than his first time and we kept the House and won a lot of governorships even with the media being 110% in the tank for the dems. On the other hand, the media is in the tank for the dems 110% and the FSA has hit the 51% mark. Those two things are maybe irreversible and fatal to our cause. The dems enforce lockstep voting, the GOP can't do squat as a party and come across as assclowns.
So how's a moron to feel- bummed as in DOOM or hopeful that the pendulum does swing based on a long term historical perspective...

Now that I think about it, I remember reading something about the egyptians having a "sacred cubit", which was about 25 inches, and the "pyramid inch" which was a 25th of a sacred cubit.

It has already done so, it's a continuation of the Sorors Strategy from 2002, when McCain-Feingold shattered traditional Democrat funding (not all of it) and replaced it with the network of Soros-funded "501s."
It's a little more complicated, and honestly that's a continuation of an even earlier strategy, point being the "blue collar Democrat" was thrown out of the power structure long before the SoCons were marginalized.
It's pretty much a power cartel trying to make sure it's the Only One With Power.
OFA is possibly the creepiest implementation.

L'elle: An AR-15 is a very good gun but a bit difficult to maintain and clean. Now, it has some kick and some higher load rounds, but an AK 47 any frigging idiot can clean and it will go bang after you throw it in the dirt for 40 years. I like them both. But depending on how much muscle/weight you have on you, i.e., if you are petite, an AR 15 would fit you perfectly.
If you are younger/stronger/sturdier, an AK 47 can be a good way to start.
BTW, how do I read Ace's twitter posts? muchas gracias.

Merovign: mucho agreed. Kind of a wash, but if you have a milled receiver on the AK, you hit reliably within 300 yards. And aside from sniper action, where you want a fucking.30 caliber bullet and a remington 700 minimum anyway, who gives a fuck about beyond 300 yards. So the AK will hit targets within 300 yards, AR will give you double that range, reliably. But for cleaning/stripping, i'll take the AK any day of the week.

In al these gun discussions it annoys me that the assumtion is to pick one. Better to fill a tool box. Start with the tool you'll need first (Lotta lead down range quick or long range accuracy) and go from there. Then stock the tool box for future jobs as you see fit/can afford.

1. It is the most massive building ever built: Its stones could make a six-lane highway from Los Angeles to NYC.
2. It is the most accurately sited building in the world, lined up perfectly east-west, north-south. Only since the invention of laser sighting can we equal that accuracy.
3. It is the only existing wonder of the ancient world out of seven that were named in ancient texts.
4. It is the oldest building in the world.
5. It has Biblical References that lock it into a Biblical Witness.
(Isaiah 19:19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and there will be a monument to the LORD at its border.)
If you climb to the top of the Great Pyramid and look east you look down from the Giza Plateau and see the heart of Egypt the Nile Delta. If you look west you see the start of the Sahara Desert) Literally it is in the heart, yet at the Border of Egypt. Even more astounding is that Hebrew Letters correspond to numbers, just like the Greek and Latin Alphabet. If you add up the numbers in the above verse they equal the length of the Great Pyramid side (any side as it is a perfect square at the base) in Pyramid inches, a measurement close to our English inch.
6. The Pyramid height from base to unfinished top (the top-stone was never put upon the Pyramid) Is the same as if you took all the landmass in the earth and leveled that land mass, then it would equal the height of the Great Pyramid.
7. The Pyramid sits at the only point in the earth where if you draw a north-south line, that line hits more land than any other line. If you draw a line east-west that line covers more water than any other line on the globe.
Many other incredible facts about the Great Pyramid show it was either built with extremely advanced scientific knowledge, only available to us in the last 100 years, or it was built with Divine Revelation.

Obama, the Dems, and the liberal media have a plan and they are working together.
The plan is to do anything and everything possible to swing the 2014 elections and take majorities in the House and Senate.
Then the real Obama agenda gets installed.
When DHS releases illegal aliens because of "sequestration," or little kids don't get medicine because of "sequestration," or the military is exposed to danger because of "sequestration," they are going to blame Republicans.
Republicans are playing right into their corrupt hands.
