The above map, according to Atlas Vans' Moving Company, Shows Where Everyone Is Moving In The Country. Frankly, I'm surprised that CA and MI are treading water on that chart but then again it is only one source and does not indicate what type of people are moving in and out (i.e. producers or takers). It is interesting to compare that map with the one at the bottom of the article that shows the business friendly states versus the not so friendly. Panda Blood

You know, there just might be something to eating Panda. Giant Panda Blood Offers Possible Superbug Solution.

Biologists have discovered that a powerful antibiotic compound in Giant Panda blood may have a range of human applications.

The compound, cathelicidin-AM, kills bacteria and fungi in the pandas' bloodstream and biologists suspect it may have the potential to be used in a wide range of human medicine -- particular in treating drug-resistant superbugs.

Adventures In Parenting

Man, if my kid did this there would be hell to pay. Teens Drugged Parents To Use Internet Past Curfew. They could've at least used some good stuff. Jeez.

Now this story is probably something I would do only I would do it myself. Father Hires In-Game "Hitmen" To Deter Son From Playing Video Games.

Unhappy with his son not finding a job, Feng decided to hire players in his son's favorite online games to hunt down Xiao Feng. It is unknown where or how Feng found the in-game assassins—every one of the players he hired were stronger and higher leveled than Xiao Feng. Feng's idea was that his son would get bored of playing games if he was killed every time he logged on, and that he would start putting more effort into getting a job.

The Ultimate DIY Home Brew Machine

Oh yes! Ima gonna make one of these. The Ultimate DIY, All-In-One Beer-Brewing Machine. Y'all are invited when I finish this. Whenever that might be.

The delicious brewÂ’s journey begins in the boil keg, where concentrated wort extract is heated by a propane burner for 90 minutes. The beer then travels through a heat exchanger—which cools the mix to about 55˚F (13˚C)—on its way to the fermenting keg. Here, a network of Freon-chilled copper tubes pumps cool water around the keg when the temperature gets too high. After two weeks, the Device pumps the beer into a settling keg, where a CO2 tank adds carbonation. When you pull the tap, the beer travels through the cold plate, so itÂ’s chilled on the way to your glass. ThatÂ’s right: The Device is always ready with a cold pour and consumes no power when itÂ’s not actively serving or fermenting

76 Moving vans, specifically moving vans operated by companies (as opposed to U-Haul rentals) cost money. This points to "net producers" rather than "net consumers" using Atlas, Allied, Mayflower, etc. "Net producers" moving to Texas makes sense, and even North Dakota (very few homeless there, and the oil industry is doing good business there) ... ... but the Canadian province that is across the strait from Greenland (essentially a year-round 1 mile thick ice-sheet) ... 92 I'm very happy for North Dakota. One of the best things about the oil and gas industry is it mainly benefits fellow right-wingers. It's almost inherently rural. And the dirty extractive nature of it rewards a conservative, realistic world view. There's no pretending magic Obamabucks will fall from the sky. It's not disconnected word fiddlers. It's digging stuff out of the ground so people can have lights and heat.

100 A federal district judge Thursday shot down a “novel” EPA attempt to regulate the flow of water as a pollutant, stopping dead in its tracks what otherwise would have been a major regulatory expansion. … Cuccinelli personally argued the case before O’Grady on Dec. 14, warning the EPA’s attempt to regulate the flow of water into state waterways would amount to a “tremendous expansion” of its regulatory power. … Assuming the judgment withstands appeal, it would spare Fairfax County an estimated $300 million in compliance costs. Nationwide, three other lawsuits against the EPA’s recent assertion of its authority to regulate water flow are pending. … “EPA’s thinking here was that if Congress didn’t explicitly prohibit the agency from doing something, that meant it could, in fact, do it,” said Cuccinelli in his statement. … “You know it’s bad when a partisan Democrat board of supervisors, like Fairfax County, will join us to sue the EPA,” he said. “That’s how bad it’s gotten.”

Attacks come and go in waves but Yahoo can't really stop users from clicking on links in email.

Make sure they don't click on any links in email, even if they think the sender is trusted. Also make sure they aren't using '123Password' as their password or some other obvious hack.

102 As I recall from driving straight across it, nodak is flat, grassy, and the wind blows constantly from south to north. I expect in the winter, it blows the other way, but I doubt the flat part changes much. When I went through, it was mostly brown. Next trip, I drove through Canada instead. Not much different, but the money was novel and the gas came in litres.

118 I always get a cooking gastaste from Panda Express food Posted by: lou's a girl at January 04, 2013 10:49 PM (adaoe) maybe panda really is using panda in their food because pandas are notorious for their methane production. it is a dilemma I love watching the envirolibtards impaled and struggling upon - methane is a greenhouse gas and must be reduced at all costs and pandas must be saved at all costs.

That's Newfoundland and Labrador. There's an offshore oil boom there and hydro power work. I'm surprised about Saskatchewan (the rectangle in the middle left) because they've got a conservative-ish government and have potash and oil and gas that's being exploited more now because of the newish government. Ontario's bleeding because of liberal dicks running it for the past 8 years or so.

Smartest dog I ever had was a black lab. He was a runt and never did get very big, he was already grown when he followed my son home one day. That night he went to every room and stuck his nose in everyone's face to make sure they were still breathing. Scared the hell out of me, I woke the whole house up screaming like a little girl and had to be scraped off the ceiling. He did it every night the whole time he lived. Damn I miss that dog sometimes.

It was in a puppy mill and had never been out of the cage. She's skiddish and terrified of everything in this house, except my Aspergers afflicted daughter. The Dog has attached itself to her. We have seen an unbelievable improvement in our child attitude and behavior and the dog is currently snuggled under her covers, their heads sharing the same pillow. 4 Days ago we got a little black puggle from an animal rescue. We don't know how old she is, the vet says a year to a year and a half. Hey MPPPP. I haven't been on any of the morning threads for almost two weeks. Missing your stories. And obv the reason for the meds. Hope you're doing ok.

Just for you, BC, here's a story.  It's about the 1931 United Artists version of the comedy The Front Page:

The punch line at the end is “The son of a bitch stole my watch!”  Adolphe Menjou, who was co-starring in the movie, thought it would be wonderful if he could say the line, but he saw no way of getting past the Production Code.  “DonÂ’t worry, youÂ’ll say the line,” director Lewis Milestone promised.

Milestone really didnÂ’t have any idea how heÂ’d get the line past the censors, and it wasnÂ’t until the shoot was almost over that inspiration struck.  While rehearsing the scene, he suddenly realized that, every time the carriage of a typewriter reached the side of a page, a little bell would ring.  “This is it!” he shouted, and gave Menjou his instructions: as another reporter was typing, the actor was to pick up the phone and start talking.  And when he got to the SOB line, the typewriter bell would ping! at the perfect moment.  So when you see the movie today, watch Menjou say:  “The son of a – ping! - stole my watch!”

Milestone had outwitted the Hays Office.  And it only took him 36 takes to do it.

When I got laid off, all I could do in California was sit around the apartment. Was inside most of the time, I thought to myself "it doesn't make any difference if I was in Omaha right now" (no offense to anyone in that town)

California or Florida, you want to be near the beaches. Living inland in Florida or Southern California, you think you're in some kind of hell.

544 lou, be realistic about how often you want to see your grandbaby and how much you will spend on travel. My dad moved away for a better-paying job 18 months ago, and I'm pretty sure he's spent enough coming back to see me and the kids that the pay raise is canceled out. Not that I'm complaining (or bugging him to come, honestly) but it's something to really consider.

545 "The Economist" channels the Tea Party ... FOR the past three years America’s leaders have looked on Europe’s management of the euro crisis with barely disguised contempt. In the White House and on Capitol Hill there has been incredulity that Europe’s politicians could be so incompetent at handling an economic problem; so addicted to last-minute, short-term fixes; and so incapable of agreeing on a long-term strategy for the single currency. Those criticisms were all valid, but now those who made them should take the planks from their own eyes. America’s economy may not be in as bad a state as Europe’s, but the failures of its politicians—epitomised by this week’s 11th-hour deal to avoid the calamity of the “fiscal cliff”—suggest that Washington’s pattern of dysfunction is disturbingly similar to the euro zone’s in three depressing ways.

One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication. The other involves a groundhog.

Almost entirely, the left's worldview is so distorted as to be almost unrecognizable. We're talking about people who look at pollution in Texas and Russia in 1990 and say Russia must be cleaner because they were far left. People who say that the philosophy behind Vietnam, Cuba, and North Korea *must* produce a better standard of living than the US. They're lying.

I hope you're right. I'm not even sure about non-dem voters. Not without a relatively long timeline. The left have been into the concept of "default thinking" via media and education for awhile. It was a big pain for them back in the day, before they seized everything and went to work. If they're correct and perhaps they are, you can expose someone to the right info and think you're making inroads, but the weight of past info will snap them back, without a constant barrage. The left used to work themselves into fits over this,

Yeah. It used to drive them to apoplexy, trying to indoctrinate people. They would rail about the right wing media, the reactionary history books, the fascist schools, the racist this and the colonialist that and how hard it was to change the default settings. So, they trashed it all and went to work. It takes time, not just exposure.

649 Remember Benghazi? The President doesn't. FRom My pet Jawa Casablanca — Although Ahmed Boukhtala is the main suspect in the September 11th terrorist attack on US consulate in Benghazi as well as a suspect in assassination of Libyan rebel commander Major General Abdelfattah Younis, he continues to live freely in Benghazi. Conflicting reports have claimed that Boukhtala was imprisoned while others have said he escaped from prison and is now a fugitive. However, sources in Benghazi told Magharebia that Boukhtala remains at large and that the Libyan authorities have not arrested him. "Boukhtala is not detained, and no official charges were made against him," political activist Samir al-Jahani told Magharebia. "However, there are many suspicions around him." Al-Jahani believes that the government is trying as much as it can to avoid charges and clashes with extremist groups at this stage.

660 WTF is with people? I was looking at getting a bike for exercise. So I'm looking at frame sizes (let's just say my species is not proportioned exactly the same as humans and leave it at that). First of all, none of the effing charts are consistent, they'll list height in feet and inseam in inches and frame size in centimeters on the same chart. Which is bad enough but solvable, but then they add "we don't measure inseam the same way as the rest of the universe, here is our special procedure..." Sorry, dumbass, I left my secret decoder ring at home. I don't need it that bad, NEXT!

Dude is giving a perfectly lucid free-market based explanation for why the "help" they are receiving is killing them, and the libtard isn't hearing a word of what he's saying. Instead he's talking right through him with the usual liberal reductionist pablum. Just change the speakers' labels and that could be the exact same conversation we have here with liberals with respect to our habitually under-performing black community.
