The Amnesty Bill Just Gets Better and Better
And by better I mean shittier. Reid is calling for a cloture vote tomorrow despite the last minute addition of the 1200-page Corker-Hoeven amendment. So we can be almost certain that no human being has actually read the complete bill that they're about to vote on.
Oh and don't expect any illegal to be deported after this bill is passed. Ever.
The bill is otherwise riddled with clauses that would help illegals avoid removal, get into the country to begin with, seek "provisional" status, apply for naturalization, ask stays of judgment, and game the system in general. One of the words appearing most often in the bill is "waiver," closely followed by "appeals," "stays," "reviews" and "exceptions" : A thicket of legalisms that could and undoubtedly would be used to thwart enforcement.
It's of course unlikely that a Spanish-speaking immigrant who walks across the border from Mexico would know anything of these legal complexities, but the drafters have foreseen that problem also. The bill sets up a fund, amounting to $50 million (with more money to be added as needed), to represent illegals in every phase of the process - seeking provisional immigration status, filing appeals, blocking efforts at deportation, obtaining naturalization, and so on.
And if you disagree with all this, then you're worse than Hitler you're rejecting Reagan's vision. At least according to Peter Wehner:
My second observation is that many of the most ferocious critics of immigration reform claim they are the sons and daughters of the Reagan Revolution, the true of heirs of Reagan. But they are-in both policy and tone-most un-Reagan like.As this post documents, Reagan himself not only signed legislation granting amnesty to three million illegal immigrants in exchange for relatively weak enforcement measures; he never demonized illegal immigrants. In 1977, for example, Reagan criticized "the illegal alien fuss" and said illegal aliens may "actually [be] doing work our own people won't do."
...Ronald Reagan's views on immigration, legal and illegal, were connected to a broader vision and conception of America. The fact is that this capacious, generous and hopeful outlook has been replaced by rhetoric that is, from some quarters at least, jagged edged and sends a signal to Hispanics: We don't really want you; and we don't much like you.
There are so many fallacies in Wehner's article that I'll just summarize the top 5.
- Opposing illegal immigration != opposing all immigration
- We've learned a lot the hard way in the 27 years since the 1986 amnesty - the 2013 Reagan would likely feel quite differently than the 1986 or 1977 Reagan
- There was A LOT more illegal immigration after the 1986 amnesty.
- Illegal immigration is low right now because of the economy - that won't last forever.
- Legalized illegal immigrants and their legal kin aren't going to vote for the GOP - didn't happen in 1986 and won't happen now.
And that's a good thing. Even their last cash cow, DVD sales, are being eaten up by streaming.
"The DVD business represented fifty percent of their profits," [20th Century Fox executive Peter Chernin] went on. "Fifty percent. The decline of that business means their entire profit could come down between forty and fifty percent for new movies."For those of you like me who are not good at math, let me make Peter's statement even simpler. If a studio's margin of profit was only 10 percent in the Old Abnormal, now with the collapsing DVD market that profit margin was hovering around 6 percent. The loss of profit on those little silver discs had nearly halved our profit margin.
...This was mind-boggling to me, and I've been in the business for thirty years. Peter continued as I absorbed the depths and roots of what I was starting to think of as the Great Contraction. "Which means if nothing else changed, they would all be losing money. That's how serious the DVD downturn is. At best, it could cut their profit in half for new movies."

Why We're Better off Euthanizing Child Molesters
A registered sex offender, released from jail less than a month ago, has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of an 8-year-old Florida girl abducted while shopping with her mother on Friday night.
The body of Charish Perriwinkle was found in front of Highlands Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday morning after a frantic search.
And the perp, Donald James Smith, has a long rap sheet full of child molestation. And these are just the things that we know he did.
Williams declined to answer reporters' questions about how Charish died or what Smith did in the hours between his disappearance with the girl and his arrest, saying that the investigation remains open.Smith has been a registered sex offender since a 1993 conviction in Duval County for attempted kidnapping and selling obscene materials.
Previous arrests that date as far back as 1977 when Department of Corrections records show he was convicted of indecent assault on a child under the age of 16.
Prison records also show that Smith went to prison again in 1992 for attempted kidnapping. Court documents show he was convicted of that charge in addition to two counts of showing obscene material to a minor.
Why One Cop Carries 145 Rounds of Ammo With Him Every Day
Sergeant Timothy Gramins fired 43 rounds at an assailant shooting at him and hit him 14 times with 6 shots in supposedly fatal locations. But the shooter just kept on coming.
[He heard an alert] that a male black driving a two-door white car had robbed a bank at gunpoint in another suburb 11 miles north and had fled... Unknown at the time, the suspect, a 37-year-old alleged Gangster Disciple, had vowed that he would kill a police officer if he got stopped....He was scarcely up to highway speed when he spotted a lone male black driver in a white Pontiac Bonneville and pulled alongside him. "He gave me 'the Look,' that oh-crap-there's-the-police look, and I knew he was the guy," Gramins said... The next thing he knew, bullets were flying. "That was four years ago," Gramins said. "Yet it could be ten seconds ago."
With Gramins following close behind, siren blaring and lights flashing, the Bonneville zigzagged through traffic and around corners into a quite pocket of single-family homes a few blocks from the exit. Then a few yards from where a 10-year-old boy was skateboarding on a driveway, the suspect abruptly squealed to a stop.
"He bailed out and ran headlong at me with a 9 mm Smith in his hand while I was still in my car," Gramins said.

Well I'm sure this will work out well.
In which a woman gets what she wanted and still complains about it.
Now, on the downslope of parenting, I have misgivings about my decision to stay home. While I don't know any parent who regrets time spent with their kids, especially kids who have moved on to their own lives - and I include myself among them - in hindsight, my decision seems flawed. Although I am fully aware that being a SAHM was certainly a luxury, staring at an empty nest and very diminished prospects of employment, I have real remorse.
Her regrets include:
I let down those [feminists] who went before me. In some cosmic way I feel that I let down a generation of women who made it possible to dream big,I used my driver's license far more than my degrees.I felt like I was shortchanging myself and those who educated, trained and believed in me by doing this.
My kids think I did nothing. They saw me cooking, cleaning, driving, volunteering and even writing, but they know what a "job" looks like and they don't think I had one.
I slipped into a more traditional marriage. In every way, my husband sees me as his equal, but in the years that I have been home, our partnership has developed a faint 1950's whiff.
So you had to make trade-offs, didn't get everything you ever wanted, and don't always get recognition for all your work? Well baby welcome to every single man's life.
What's It Like Being Nerve Gassed
Not fun. And somewhat similar to black widow bites which are also nerve agents.
Muscarinic effects from nerve agents include miosis [constriction of the pupils of the eyes], bradycardia [slowed heartbeat], diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, diaphoresis [excessive sweating], bronchial secretions [fluid in the lungs], and bronchial constriction [lung tightening]. A dimming of vision occurs with the miosis.Nicotinic effects include tachycardia [fast heartbeat] and muscle twitching which progresses to muscle paralysis. The toxidrome [poisoning syndrome] depends of the route of absorption. When dermally absorbed [through the skin] muscle twitching occurs first. With inhalation exposure, breathing difficulties are seen first.
The onset of symptoms with inhalation exposure is within 5 minutes.

______________________________
Actually, first and foremost, Reagan was a Cold Warrior. We needed to open up a steam valve for the burgeoning Marxist movement in Latin America - permitting some of Mexico's poorest legal status in the United States was part of Reagan's Cold War strategy (and to a great extent, a countermeasure against the Soviet strategy which would have been elated to have a Communist state on the contiguous Southern border of the United States). In effect, keeping Mexico from going Communist (there was a significant Soviet and Cuban - I repeat myself - presence in Mexico) was the mirror version of what Reagan was able to do with the Solidarity movement throughWalesa in Poland, a neighboring state to the U.S.S.R.

Watched JACK REACHER last night. Then I went back to re-read Ace's critique back in May. I could've sworn Ace (or someone else) said Cruise was a bad choice because Reacher is described as tall.
Anyway, I liked the movie. It was crisp and clean. The only thing is that it should be re-titled:

Had to laugh at this--scattered clouds here so seeing the Moon is iffy, a couple minutes ago I stepped out the back garage door and saw it clearly. Didn't turn on any lights so after a moment I looked down, and there is a skunk about 2 feet away, looking up at me.
Wished him well, and quickly shut the door. That could have turned out badly.

We have (in my local district) our own problems candidate wise this year. There is a conservative Pub running for the first time, and the power structure doesn't approve. He espouses too many of the Tea Party positions.
Not a good old boy, so the support is really soft from the Party bosses. But we will see if he can't upset things regardless. Because here at this level is where it all begins.

The current GOP crop lacks the will to back us in what it will take.
At the state and local level thus far sans amnesty we're doing fine and actually better than fine. Obama is being held afloat in part by GOP governance's success in the red states financially. A perverse byproduct of the GOP grassroots effectiveness.
Had I faith that the feds would not undermine the Texas model that Allen G and I have discussed at length I'd be aboard amnesty to a degree, flipped the new immigrants would be an asset if mated with Red State governance the crisis is Obama willfully undermining the national economy with his continued attacks on the energy sector and his regulatory fiat coupled with as it turns out another pop of "spend as much as you want Barry! Ogabenomics"
The state and local GOP is empowering the McCain gang to fuck us every time.
Enough...let the donks try to undermine the Bill of Rights openly and emboldened it'll drive people to the new party or a revitalized and younger GOP after we chop out the rotten wood....
They try to outlaw guns...I am sincere when I say "I will not comply" as are a bunch of union democrat hunting voters....
they will be driven to us....
the GOP runs roughshod over my desired policies and empowers the left precisely because it is content to be reduced to a pressure valve on donkey overreach.
If John McCain is the answer I am asking stupid questions.

If I lived in Texas in 2010 and it was between Dewhurst and Cruz, the choice is simple. Dewhurst was a compassionate compromiser, Cruz was not.
If I lived in SC and it was between Graham and Sanford, I would choose Sanford without hesitation. Sanford never once took sides against me; Graham repeatedly joins the Democrats and plots against me.

It's time for everyone to reflect on a new set of questions.
They're personal....
I am a conservative not a "Republican"
I am a capitalist not a corporatist
I am a limited government small l libertarian
Not someone who wants to enable the micromanaging of every asperct of our lives.
If my vote is in the end simply enabling McCain and gang to cut better deals in empowering Schumer's agenda it is even more wasted than if I register democrat and call my shots because inside the democrat party I can at least damage the more overtly Marxist lunatic fringe and cause chaos in their ranks rather than trying to contain ours.

If I lived in MD in 2010, I would without a doubt choose O'Donnell over Castle.
Castle, if in the Senate today, would vote with the Democrats on everything.
Miller was the right choice in AK. Buck was the right choice. And Angle was the right choice, (don't believe me? look at Heller's actions of late).

Your vote for any candidate negates one vote for the opposition candidate. Makes it just like an opposition voter stayed home.
The only time your vote doesn't matter is when your candidate already has the win.

Do you believe our system is rigged in the same way as the Iranian elections?
Because if so, then we really don't have enough common ground to go any further on this topic.
Our system doesn't guarantee that you'll get to vote for your ideal candidate - you just get to choose among the ones who are running. And the barriers to running for office are pretty low here as a glance down the ballot will demonstrate.
Posted by: Mætenloch at June 23, 2013 07:22 PM (XkotV)
Or how about Australia, where voting is mandatory. Is that a better method?
No. Voting should be open for anyone who wants it, but there still needs to be some cost so that people respect the act of voting and their decision with seriousness.
For example, voting rights come with the responsibility to sit on juries as well as a lifetime ban on receiving individual government benefits.

Okay, you have my apologies, because I most certainly interpreted your post about how people died to give us the right to vote and your various following up posts, especially how you have no respect for those who do not vote because principles, as requiring a vote for a candidate in every election. If I missed where you clarified that is not your position, my apologies.
My position is that I will vote for those candidates who earn my vote, which actually has a fairly wide latitude, but that I will not pull the lever for someone solely because s/he is the less of two evils. Please note that your various posts stated that you have no respect for me if I refuse to do so, thus the creation of my confusion.

So what?
First, for all the time I've been alive nobody has died for my right to vote. I wasn't a citizen of the US until 1994; and I wasn't living in the place where I was a citizen (the UK). So whoever died on my behalf up to then was dying for my right to live in freedom - relative freedom to the Soviet Union, anyway. Voting didn't come into it. Freedom and elections are "clean different things".
Also I didn't ask these people to die for the right to vote. Why feel grateful to people who died for a cause I don't much care for?

Yeas. I'm with you on that. Many friends voted Perot..., telling me that they were 'voting their conscience'. I tried to point out that the election was not a referendum on their 'conscience', but an election to determine who the President was going to be. It generally fell on deaf ears, or stiffened their determination to 'do what they thought was right'. Fine. So what did we get? Bill fucking Clinton with 39% of the popular vote. Clinton proceeded to do damage that can not be undone.

They are equally evil.
And I voted for Mitty Mouse because I thought it best. But, no more.
RINOs and democrats march in the same direction, just at a different pace.
The RINO is actually more evil because it pretends to be something it is not.
I've found in the past that there is no reasoning with individuals such as this. They're an incredibly small part of the vote. Let them rant while worshipping Ron Paul.

Until this latest conflict I would have said I largely disagree with you.
We're going to get US ground troops killed training and aiding Al Qaeda allied groups in Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood elsewhere.
I cannot believe that were the media to accurately report on this Obama would enjoy his support base.
If he does I am at a loss as to what happened to my nation given the histrionics the force had to endure in the Bush era.
The soldiers of the United States serve literally the documents and ideals of the Constitution and the Bill or Rights at the cost if need be of their lives.
My rather simple task of showing up at the polls in the service to those causes is so minor a sacrifice I have trouble reconciling they are related but indeed they are.
Given the events of the last 20 years I cannot honestly cast as much opprobrium on the self-exiled as I once would have and indeed have done here at the HQ and Tepid but there are always uses for your vote.

Why We're Better off Euthanizing Child Molesters
My own two cents (and overpriced at that): any murder of a person under 18 by anyone with any molestation record, no matter how long ago the charge, should be automatically sentenced to the death penalty. No exceptions, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
Does anyone know if this is already on the books in any state?

not to quibble too hard
1) clinton's budget was not quite so balanced as we pretend he was raiding the entitlement cookie jars hard when they had a more positive exchange flow....
2) the Post Newt Hill GOP was a different beast than Newt's and frankly Bush and "Compassionate Conservatism" shat on our frugality and undermined our ability to show our economic ideas were working....
Clinton gets credit for "Balance" of course too often they happily forget that he also left a recession and an unstable economy destined to explode.....

I think its even simpler...
ANY threat to the Two Old Boy Groups who run Washington will be destroyed by them, and their pet media.
TEA Party? Sarah Palin? You constantly see REPUBS and their pet 'Pundits' dismissing anything they say... and using character assassination... hell... Look at what Mccain has said about Cruz! He talks worse about Cruz than about the OTHER PARTY!
Perot was a threat on a whole other level. He was identified with the Balanced Budget Issue, and the ONLY way to get rid of him, was to get rid of that issue (IMO).

I think Perot was a bit unstable and I am not discussing the media hype. Also his personal business "savvy" was far too close to Bill Gates' style than I'd prefer.
That said I'd elect him over what we got the last 4 times.
Bush's refusal to fight coupled with the current GOP's refusal to attack the EPA overreach and refusal to properly exploit our energy sources to refire industry is maddening.
I am slowly becoming convinced the GOP is on board with the US Government trying to get its Hugo Chavez on.

No, mine's still there. I responded to:
Nelson Mandela along with Mahatma Gandhi and Cesar Chavez are true heroes of the late 20th Century IMHO.
with:
Gothic
Mahatma Gandhi opposed using violence to end the Holocaust. You call that a hero? No, true heroes are people like Jimmy Stewart (who at 35, and long a top movie star, demanded to (and did) fly B-24 bombing missions over Germany) and Hank Greenberg, one of the greatest baseball players ever, who lost 5 years from his career by volunteering to serve at age 29 (and did so scouting bomber bases in the Far East) from 1941 to 1945. Not to denigrate what Mandel, Gandhi, and Chavez did, but they *had* to; Jimmy Stewart and Hank Greenberg didn't -- and those two could easily have been killed, esp. Stewart, who flew 2 missions during 1944's "Big Week" in which 261 USAAF bombers were shot down.

A third Party would enable more stark left lurching than goes on...
I've seen game theory presentations on it...
I am going to go you one better and empower the democrats to indulge their lunatics and ideally drive people rightward or get it established once and for all my Nation is dead....
I suspect my understanding of the American experiment is in fact dead if we cannot allow this nation to split along economic and social lines ideally as peacefully as possible.
The two "dreams" are too far apart.
You cannot have the socialism they want without control so onerous our bill of rights dies....
I won't tolerate it, I'd rather go live in Mongolia where the tyranny is mostly apathetic than here where it'll be zealous and evangelical in application and my oath and history would compel me to fight as savagely as possible to reestablish liberty.
I won't wear a Guy Fawkes Mask and pretend I'm in a movie if it ever comes to that....

More? Snowden made an interesting point in one of his posts...
The Constitution does not differentiate between Citizens, and non Citizens, when it speaks of Rights... and in fact the Bill of Rights lists what our Government CANNOT do...
They spin the NSA program as 'JUST' going after foreigners... but.. the Constitution does NOT say that subpoenas are only needed for CITIZENS... it says that to get at persons, or papers... to search... there must be cause and a warrant saying who will be searched, what is being searched, and what they are looking for.
In the past, US spys were given a pass on this because they only worked OUTSIDE the US... and were thus covered by foreign law if caught... but these folks are acting WITHIN the US... under US Jurisdiction... and thus all Government Prohibitions within the Constitution should be in effect.

Been reading the comments at Greenwald's column in the Guardian. Regarding this NSA and Snowden issue, the libs are sounding conservative and the left is sounding libertarian. The libertarian are sounding libertarian still. The conservatives are sounding Obotic. It's a healthy kind of muddling if you ask me. Separates the unprincipled partisans from the principled civil liberties types.
Could this be the start of a post-partisan paradigm?

1. CBO says unemployment will rise.
2. CBO says Wages will drop.
3. CBO says this will only stop about 25% of illegal Immigration...
Sooo.... why are we doing this if it makes things worse for citizens, and will NOT solve the illegal Immigration problem?

No, but if you hum a few bars.....
Depends on the versions. It might be as simple as a "paste values" or "convert to table" -- it may be a total clusterfark. That's Microsoft.

Make it into an image, or just copy the data to a simple table without the underlying spreadsheet functionality. As long as the numbers are final a table is just fine for allowing reformatting.
On app that is handy for creating images is Publisher, if you have it as part of your Office suite. It'll let you output anything to an image file. Or you can import it to Publisher, save it as a Publisher file, then import that to Word. That will possibly break the OLE/COM/whatever they call it nowadays link back to Excel.

so the best way I can use my vote if McCain Gang fucks me and my family's ability to work and gain is to frankly empower the donks to go berzerk with power intoxication....

I appreciate what you're saying but if they crash the plane while enough of us who understand our founding and the Bill of Rights and the enlightenment are still extant we'll be better off in the rebuilding phase....
The obvious goal of the democrats is not so much to repeal the bill of rights as to so brazenly ignore them and engage in uneven application of law and prosecutorial power they may as well not exist....
so my solution painful as it is is to speed up the timetable....

Mætenloch...thank you for what you said upthread about voting.
I heartily agree.
Here's why:
Oklahoma hasn't always been the 'reddest state' on the map.
It wasn't that long ago, that the state was controlled by Dems.
We had Corruption with a capital C...so bad that many of them went to jail, including a Dem governor.
The corruption was on every level.
Some people said..."It's always been this way. Voting doesn't matter, it won't change anything".
Sound familiar?
Well, many of us said..."Fuck that noise".
We kept on voting, many times for the 'lesser of two evils'.
It took a while, but we now have a state with an R-controlled State House, and an R-governor.
Our Senators and Congressmen are some of the most conservative in the country.
And yet...the Dem-registered voters still outnumber the R-registered ones, here in OK.
So I urge my fellow morons to not get so discouraged, and fall into despair.
Keep voting.
And yes...even if it is for the 'lesser of two evils'.
Because even a lesser evil is better than a greater evil.
And a greater evil is what we have right now.

Besides, if the 2012 rhetoric was accurate, the country is already doomed since the people spouting that lost.

I spent 10 years trying to convince my folks to hit the Santa Rosa area -- they dithered until it wasn't possible, then moved to Salem, OR, instead. It's over here. The times that it could work were long ago. My family built 5 houses to pay for college for me and my sister -- you couldn't do that now. We couldn't afford to buy into our own neighborhood -- it's so much of a bubble since 1997 that we jokingly say, "we always wanted to live in a million-dollar home.....but never imagined it would be this one."

Secession is the only solution. We can't flee without someplace to flee to and there simply isn't anyplace feasible outside the current US borders. So carving a chunk out of the current carcass is the only way to go. Texas plus any bordering states with a clue would be ideal.
Revolution nation wide is a fool's errand. Most folks want the current bloated government, and most who bothered voting in the last few elections voted for even more. They cannot be reasoned with. So how exactly do you prevent them from doing so again the first time elections are held after the revolution? Ban registered democrats from voting for life? Ban anyone who falls into their grievance groups? I doubt anyone has the stomach for either.
Pretty much any other scheme for working within the system is similarly guaranteed to fail because the FSA outnumbers us.
As there isn't any serious talk of secession, the reality is that we have nothing but a little season to wait before the collapse. At which point no one's plans are going to matter much.

How many would stay in Texas if it left the union? And restricted new citizenship status to English speakers? And how many people like me would leave blue state hell in a heartbeat for a chance to live free?
It's hard work or failure,
Hard work at what, exactly? Are you such a fool as to think you can fix any of these wretches through the power of persuasion? Obama voters and those who seek to get along with them are a lost cause, they don't care about being free and never will. And they hate us, to boot. If your plan doesn't ultimately involve liberating us from them, it is no plan at all.
The limits on government power failed because we let too many of the wrong people vote (As has been discussed ad nauseum, there's no excuse for letting people who don't on balance pay into the government have a say on what it does).. There's no way to undo that and keep the country intact. This idea that somehow if we just 'work harder' the situation will improve is a fairy tail. The only choice left is whether we find a way to isolate them and leave them to the rot that is their hearts' desire, or if we keep making excuses for them and join them in oblivion. I think I'm being overly optimistic pretending there's enough time left for even that choice.

But if you do believe that there is a majority that is persuadable, then start persuading them.
But "waiting for the collapse" is not a plan.

Confidence can be lost in a currency without anything being readily available to replace it.
More to the point, if your paper wealth is dependent on my promise to work and pay off a debt to you and I decide it's not worth the effort, you are immediately rendered as poor as I am. See every pension system, the mortgage backed security scheme, and every instance of government 'debt' around the globe.
The collapse will come when people are forced to acknowledge there's nothing supporting their paper promises.

The point of being the world's reserve currency is that others don't require confidence in the currency, because they are forced to trade in it anyway for global commodities.

But it is all relative to the other currencies out there. The dollar still enjoys the most confidence even if you're right.

ISTR that Puller was also quoted as saying that he was going to get a Medal of Honor if it took him a whole foot locker full of dog tags. YMMV but I find the idea of a military commander who was willing to expend the lives of the men who were entrusted to him for his own personal aggrandizement somewhat less than inspiring. It is the sort of thing I would expect from Marshal Zhukov rather than an American general.

As utopian as the Founding Fathers. The act of seceding, or in their case revolting, fixes a lot of the problems of general human nature. Everyone that chooses to be part of it already knows the problems they're trying to get away from, which gives you a huge advantage in solving the problem among them. The colonies further benefitted from the self-selection of folks who moved to them to get away from Europe's bullshit.
You'll note they didn't send an expeditionary force to conquer London so we could all remain one big happy country. They said we don't have enough in common to continue our association and we'll take whatever steps you make necessary to convince you of this, good day.
No, I don't expect there are enough freedom loving people left to make it work. So we're all headed for ruin together for whatever that's worth to you. I've been taking a hard line on all the lies and all I have to show for it are fewer friends. It doesn't matter because they don't want to hear the truth.

We have no territory now. That's the point of ramming amnesty through. And you aren't fighting, you're arguing and being ignored just as I have been. Good luck with that.
But it is all relative to the other currencies out there. The dollar still enjoys the most confidence even if you're right.
No it's relative to the stuff too. If confidence is lost in the dollar, folks can just hold onto the stuff they have.
General confidence in the dollar also doesn't help if we wake up one morning to find our accounts drained like Greece because that's what TPTB insisted needed to be done to maintain the system.

If you really think that this is likely to happen here, then go ahead and pull your money out of the bank now and stuff it under your mattress.
Anyway I'm going to get some rest.

I was watching re-runs of Duck Dynasty last night and Phil Robertson was extolling the virtues of turpentine for cleaning things to Miss Kay. She told him he would probably like to clean the entire country with turpentine.
He said the country did need cleaning with turpentine, and he would start in Hollywood.
