The 11 Liberal Rules for Racism

All of these are true, and most people know they're true but they're rarely verbalized - and never spoken of in the MSM. But this is the world that we live in.

And if you run afoul of any of these, you'll be denounced as a counter-revolutionary racist and your life will be destroyed as Paula Deen and the MO rodeo clown found out.

I guess it's time for me to go back and re-read some classic Soviet dissident literature for useful tips and ideas.

WWII and American Sexual Predation

Including the real reason the US invaded Normandy.

And when French women weren't available to be violated, American servicemen attacked their own womyn shamelessly as captured in this infamous photo. If you can't see the rape taking place, it's because you've been brainwashed by the patriarchy.

8 The Fundamental Failure of Welfare One of the problems with the Welfare State is that it conflated Middle Class accoutrements, such as nice homes, with Middle Class values. Simply having the accoutrements of the Middle Class will not make one Middle Class, or instill Middle Class values. It is the work ethic and values of the Middle Class that allowed them to have the nice things; it was their drive and desire to stand on their own two feet and become masters of their own lives that lead to the broad prosperity that is associated with the Middle Class. Welfare mistakenly flip this cause and effect. More: http://politicalhat.com/?p=2930

9 Dear Oliver so we used the nuclear threat against North Vietnam huh?  So that explains why everyone was fleeing in 1975?  Not because the Democrats in Congress cut Ford off at the knees, thus denying South Vietnam the ability to defend itself.

20 ""But those people who looked deeper will find out there is a much more cynical explanation," he said, noting the Soviet Union's war on Japan, begun on Aug. 9, was "a strong factor" behind Tokyo's surrender six days later.' Because if anything, the Japanese knew they were going to get pounded by that mighty Soviet Navy...*sarc*. I was surprised that Stone, to my knowledge, didn't use the "we dropped that bomb to scare the Russians" explanation.

24 So ... any messaging strategy to combat the 11 Rules for Racism? Mockery helps. More white people constantly making accusations of racism would help. Even bullshit accusations. Some of this is class differences among whites. Basically, the whites getting screwed the most by Affirmative Action and anti-white crime are poor whites ... so complaining about anti-white racism signals lower class. Even talking about salacious anti-white hate crimes like the Knoxville Massacre is considered distasteful by upper class whites. Presumably because upper class white are insulated from anti-white crime and anti-white Affirmative Action admission and hiring practices.

Posted by: Per-Bert at August 13, 2013 06:12 PM (cK0tU)

28 No, Stone's merely a jackass,  like John Kerry, who has a real bug up his six, about Latins and Asians. Cubans in JFK and Nixon. Salvadorans played by a Cuban interestingly in Salvador, the Chinese tongs in Day of the Dragon, etc.

Posted by: Armando, owner of Caesar at August 13, 2013 06:12 PM (Jsiw/)

29 And yet upper class blacks complain about racism as much, if not more, than poor blacks. Oprah, a billionaire and one of the most powerful people who've ever lived, just made up a fake racism story and publicly attacked a lowly shop girl to boost her status. Even uber-powerful blacks like Oprah, Obama, and Holder feel compelled to make false racism accusations. For whites, complaining about racism is decidedly low class.

As I've pointed out before, you can see the way the media handle this.

If something generally considered bad is happening in the health insurance marketplace, it's because of the "Affordable Care Act".

If something generally considered good is happening in the health insurance marketplace, it's because of "Obamacare".

Pretty easy to spot examples once you realize what's going on.

When they killed off Jonathan in the last season, I felt a little bad.

Now I wish they'd let the character commit suicide in his first appearance as he intended. Without that recurring role he might not have made the connections that let him do a series of movies deeply insulting to conservatives and anyone with a respect for the truth.

It took me an hour to get home from work tonight...I live 10 minutes from work...Sigh.

Part of the time was taken up by my quick dash in to Safeway to get a bottle of wine being FUBAR'd by smelly burqa clad women trying to use expired coupons and EBT cards to buy their groceries. Two. In. A. Row. Luckily Safeway was forward thinking enough to employ only Muslim men at this store so the Muslim checker was able to argue loudly with the women for a prolonged period of time. I don't know how it was resolved. I managed to pop into another checkout lane and get my damn bottle of wine and flee.

98 One of my favorite films is Notorious. Cary Grant, an FBI agent, and Ingrid Bergman, a daughter of a war criminal trying to help him trap another war criminal, are in Rio on a mountain over looking the bay. You know the one. She's a party girl and she's been coming on to Cary but he kept pushing her away. Finally, he whips her around and lays a big fat wet one on her. I would post again about my experience with five families, all five of whom spoke different non-English languages, checking out in front of me, all with EBT, and the ones right in front of me buying a big package of steaks with EBT that I personally had picked up earlier in my shopping and had regretfully passed on as too expensive, since we are so old-fashioned and stodgy and American as to actually pay for our own food.

But I won't recount that experience, because I've already had enough ragestroke for the day, and I want to make sure the global ragestroke supply doesn't get used up prematurely. Peak Ragestroke and all that.

For some years I worked in downtown Atlanta, but lived well outside in a 'burb. I finally identified a friendly dive a couple of blocks from my office and would simply hang out there an hour or so until rush hour was over. That way I could get home in 30 or 40 minutes, instead of over an hour. I generally arrived home with *much* lower blood pressure that way.

157 "The evidence is looking like Oprah literally just made up her racism story, not expecting the lowly shop girl to defend herself. She figured nobody would bother to check her story."

This is an example of the Skip Gates Effect.

Aflluent blacks get to the top of the ladder and look around and realize that they're still not getting what they consider to be their due of sympathy. So they make up bullshit about how even though they're on top of the world, they're really looking up from the bottom because The White Establishment are still imagined to be disrespecting them.

My favorite example of the Skip Gates Effect is, of course, the marvelously self-unaware Skip Gates. Tenured, highly compensated professor at Harvard despite really not having accomplished anything more academically than the typical humanities prof at Wrinkle Flats Community College.

He then has a minor flap with the cops, essentially all his fault.

He then calls three friends of his to complain vocally about how the white man is cruelly keepin' a brutha down, and how the white power structure in America will never give blacks a fair shake.

Those three friends being (a) the black Mayor of Cambridge, MA, (b) the black Governor of the state of Massachusetts, and (c) the black President of the USA.

SF writers loved Omni because it paid better than any other short story market in existence at the time. The closest runner-up was Playboy but you generally had to have a well established name to get in there.

"During the first Reagan administration, I participated in a number of press conferences on either a book or article IÂ’d written or as a panelist in a discussion of White House public policy. On occasion, when the question-and-answer session began, IÂ’d tell the press, 'You can treat me like a white person. Ask hard, penetrating questions.' The remark often brought uncomfortable laughter, but I was dead serious. If there is one general characteristic of white liberals, itÂ’s their condescending and demeaning attitude toward blacks."

You see the headline at Drudge  with Kerry boo-hooing about the internet? Horse-face: "Internet makes it hard to govern". One word: Pamphleteers. The 1st Amendment was supposed to make it "hard".

It's funny, the Left has always claimed they are so "enlightened"  yet they are afraid of  the people attaining knowledge.   The Left has always screamed  how  they were the  defenders of free speech  (p*ss Christ) and accused  the Right of  being prudish censors, but who's really afraid of a  little  free speech? Huh. Who'da thunk it.

298 Install Linux.

"Yeah I'm not that smart to do that"

A couple of different Linux versions can be downloaded and installed on a CD/DVD or a thumbdrive with minimal bother. From there, you just pop the disk or the thumbdrive into the machine and boot up and let the software work.

This lets you see whether it understands your particular hardware, without bothering to perform an actual installation. If it doesn't work, shut down, reboot, pull the disk/drive, and you're right back to the status quo ante.

Occasionally things will freak out and not work, on obscure/weird/cheap hardware. But amazingly often these days, Linux just works with minimal annoyance. Very stable, very secure, requires less of a machine to run acceptably well.

Last time I did this, with Linux Mint, the only even slightly complex thing I had to do by way of config was to input our wireless network password. The installer figured out everything else. It just ran, and worked, and was generally awesome.

I once said to someone who was wondering if she should be there as her pet was put down that it would be one of the worst experiences of her life, and also one of the best, and one of the most trivial, but also one of the most important.

Pets are often scared while at the vet. Including on their final visit. They feel safer and more comfortable when their own people are there. Even if those people are crying.

Get a real estimate from a real shop first -- there are hidden crumple zones on modern cars that, if pre-crumpled, won't protect you in an accident. If a body shop says no damage....then no incident.

360 Several years ago, I downloaded a disc image of Ubuntu Linux from a fileserver. Then I had to download a program to to enable me to write that image file onto a CD-rom. Both steps had pretty basic, easy to follow instructions. Then I put the CD-rom into my target laptop, and the install went like clockwork. For a windows guy like me, the whole exercise was pretty painless.

The Ubuntu screen looked pretty much like the Win 7 desktop, and most functionality was similar enough to be intuitive.

Posted by: 18-1 at August 13, 2013 11:50 PM (zPVBH) Something similar happened to me years ago. I was getting ready to pull out of a parking lot onto the road, and a woman was behind me. All of a sudden I noticed a pickup truck blatantly run a red light and zoom through the intersection. I slammed on my brakes just as I was pulling onto the road, and the woman behind me rear-ended me. She was all upset, but I said, "It wasn't your fault; it was his." Fortunately there was no real damage. I might have made it onto the road if I had gunned it, but she would have absolutely been T-boned and maybe killed. If there wasn't any damage, I wouldn't get the insurance company involved.

I think once the gas shocks were compressed, a couple of scratches. I have AAA, I call them, report the info, say I don't expect to file a claim but I will have it checked out, no significant damage visible. The other cars had stuff like cracked bumpers, torn fenders, crumpled hood, etc. I guess that's one thing Volvo had going for them. I figured be the first to report. None of them apparently filed claims.

376 "I have a still functioning 486SX100 box. Windows 3.1 (or as I call it: real Windows), everything works, it's just too old to run the modern software. Can I make it a Linux box?"

Almost certainly. I remember running Linux precursors on comparable silicon.

But, with hardware that old, the slick smooth autoinstall routines may fail.

What would follow would be frustrating command line voodoo. And lots of digging around on obscure Web pages for hints.

I installed one of the micro-Linux distributions (Puppy Linux) on an old 486 box just to see if it would run and work. It did! But I recall that there were a few hours of command line voodoo to get the network card working.

The most recent thing I installed was Linux Mint 13 (Maya), and it was a joy. On a machine from a decade or so back.

There are more recent releases of Linux Mint, but there is a processor compatibility issue with certain machines >= 10 years old, so I installed the older version I did to get around that. Rock solid so far.

456 The Fundamental Failure of Welfare

I'll probably get pummeled for saying it, but the Oscar-nominated flick from a few years ago, Precious, produced by Oprah Winfrey herself no less, is probably the most anti-welfare movie EVER made.

I couldn't believe it when I watched it about a year ago. If you don't believe me, look at it yourself. Mo'Nique's character (Precious' Mom) is portrayed as a woman basically made near-psychotically vicious and lazy thanks to her addiction to that damn monthly check/teat.

So it is I have old growth pine trees and a couple of equally old Eucalyptus

trees that 4 years ago were infected with that Damn "Australian Lerp" bug infestation which causes them to drop leaves almost constantly. As much as I like the smell of them, raking up the leaf fall during the summer weeks is an almost all day affair and there is never enough room in the 2 large green bins the city has given me for yard trimmings and such. Would need a 'Boom Truck" to get all the way up to spray them proper but would have to do that on a windless day before sunrise  to ensure there is no "Drift" of the chemicals outside my property lines......dang, will probably have to just have them cut down....which also sucks.

So how goes things tonight with you all anyway......

533 The Powers That Be seem to be thinking that Silicon Valley is going to be Manhattan.....and I keep seeing parking lots turned into 3-5 story condos. There will be a tipping point where suburban houses lose value because they're no longer private, sunlit, and crime-free. Posted by: cthulhu at August 14, 2013 04:22 AM (T1005) More like the famously class-divided European cities, small but immensely rich old money enclaves, small middle-class service clusters around them, and then the We Care For These Poor People Zones, aka slums. Well, Jarrett was a slumlord, maybe she'll have some advice. I do currently live in an area that *probably* won't go first, near expensive neighborhoods and very near a couple of hospitals - but you never know.

When the bill comes due in California, it IS going to suck horribly -- and I have every intention of being somewhere else.....despite it being the land of my birth, amply furnished with immense resources (five out of the 12 most productive hydrocarbon reserves in the US!), and with a superlative climate.

I'm in a race to convince the BH v. the value of the property -- and she tends to see the wild valuations of recent sales as a reason to HOLD.

When I see outrageous valuations, I see indications to sell and invest elsewhere.

536 We already had a real estate crash here. Well, more than one. The next one, probably when Capital-T They decide they need to make some money on eminent domain or developer donations or whatever.

537 I should also point out that I'm very devoted to our house. We rebuilt the kitchen in 2004, and it is very nearly the best kitchen I could possibly imagine in the space that it occupies -- I spent two years dreaming and scheming about it, and another half-year getting the project going, and I'm very pleased at the way it ended up. If it weren't subject to the predations of California's government, I would cherish it until they carried me away, boots first.....

539 I love the state but the government is going to drive me out. That sucks pretty damned bad. I'm a native and apart from government almost everything about the place is perfect. I hate being driven out.

You're going to hate even worse having every little piece that you loved being stripped away from you, while every dollar of value anchored to the state is chainsawed.to bits.

My history is here and I know where everything is. I would hate to not see it all again. But I doubt I'd come back.

543 Ugh all the clown talk has had a cumulative effect upon my sub-conscious.  How else to explain such an odd phrase as the following one that it woke me up.  How come I'm hung like a Mexican clown car?

I have no idea what that means and I really don't want to ponder it.

Oh yeah.  Morning everyone.  What a way to start Wednesday.

551 29 Oprah, a billionaire and one of the most powerful people who've ever lived, just made up a fake racism story and publicly attacked a lowly shop girl to boost her status. Even uber-powerful blacks like Oprah, Obama, and Holder feel compelled to make false racism accusations. And of course this happened to Oprah the same time she's promoting a movie she's starring in - which is about racism.

552 Tunnel Teeth is partly right about the Soviets, as the Japanese were hoping to use them as go-betweens, but they wouldn't have needed a week to make up their minds if it was just the Russkies that forced the decision. Ollie's thesis is based on a theory floated and shot down about 40 years ago.
