Looking for some new shows to watch? Well let me suggest two shows for you...
Circumstances force Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes to be roommates along with other oddball residents of the house they're renting. Plot complications and hilarity ensure. Despite its typical premise it really is a clever and funny series. Here's a complete episode to give you a taste. You really don't need anymore background than I've given you to appreciate it.
For some reason Tivo decided I would like this series and started recording for me. And what do you know - I do.
Here Australian comedian Jim Jeffries plays a struggling actor in LA who's delightfully offensive (both on purpose and by accident) and his dealings with agents, women, and his loserish friends/roommates one of whom is both dying of MS and perpetually horny. Here's a short clip.
The Connection Between Airbnb and Serial Killers
Has the decline in serial killers led to the rise of a high-trust 'sharing economy'? Yes says this article:
Collectively these companies have raised over $200 million in funding to power what's known as the "sharing economy." But there was time not so long ago when the idea of interacting so freely with complete strangers would have made many Americans much more uncomfortable. "There was a cultural moment during the '70s and '80s where the dominant boogieman was the serial killer. This figure crystallized our worst fears, and walked among us," says Harold Schecter, a professor at Queens College and a true-crime writer.
...What role has the internet played in reversing this trend? Mike Aamodt, a psychology professor who has studied serial killers, says the web has created a new paradigm. "There is an identity layer that exists now which prevents predators from moving between communities and staying unnoticed as they did in decades past," he tells The Verge. "A Google search makes it more difficult to simply leave your history behind."
And the overall reduction of violent crime in general:
There is another long-term trend at play here: the sustained and significant drop in the rate of violent crime across the nation over the past few decades. This is especially true in the metropolitan areas where the majority of the startups at the forefront of the sharing economy have taken root. The most dangerous precincts in New York City now report less violent crime than the safest areas did back in 1993. San Francisco's murder rate has dropped to levels not seen since the 1960s.
Jonah Goldberg points out that both fit a similar template - and have a similar trajectory though Cruz has more actual achievements to point to and seems far more interested in making a difference along the way. Yet one is loved and the other is loathed by elite.
National Review editor Rich Lowry put his finger on one plausible source of elite liberal hatred for Cruz: betrayal. "Cruz is from the intellectual elite, but not of it, a tea party conservative whose politics are considered gauche at best at the storied universities where he studied. He is, to borrow the words of the 2009 H.W. Brands biography of FDR, a traitor to his class." (I hate to correct my boss, but Brands didn't coin that phrase). What liberals hate in Cruz, they love in Obama: a product of an elite education who confirms all their feelings of superiority. Obama took the desiccated ideas of campus liberalism and made them seem vibrant, stylish and even populist.
Both men made political hay of their ethnicity. It worked better for Obama, but it's worth noting that Cruz has an impressive list of "firsts" for a Latino, which he proudly - and rightly - highlights in his official biography.
The real similarities, however, come in the form of their approach to politics. Both landed in the U.S. Senate, running with larger ambitions in mind. Moreover, both grasp that historically the Senate whittles away presidential timber. Like John F. Kennedy, Obama was there just long enough to run for president. And while Obama was there, his chief goal was burnishing his presidential image, not racking up legislative accomplishments.
And Cruz also shares the problem that a lot of senators have - he hasn't actually run anything - and that would be a concern if he runs for President.
The Guns of the Kenyan Defense Forces
Whenever I see pictures of foreign soldiers I amuse myself by trying to identify all of guns. And so photos of the Kenyan forces battle with the Jihadis in the mall has been like a gun Jeopardy. It's rare to see photos in which any two Kenyans have the same type weapons - they seem to have a mix of M-16s, FALs, AK-47s, SCARs, G5s, MP5s, and who knows what else. Kenya isn't a wealthy county so I guess they buy up whatever is cheap on the surplus market.
End of the Line for the Hippie Van
It carried hippies through the 1960s, hauled surfers in search of killer waves during endless summers and serves as a workhorse across the developing world, but the long, strange trip of the Volkswagen van is ending.Brazil is the last place in the world still producing the iconic vehicle, or "bus" as it's known by aficionados, but VW says production will end Dec. 31. Safety regulations mandate that every vehicle in Brazil must have air bags and anti-lock braking systems starting in 2014, and the company says it cannot change production to meet the law.
Although output will halt in Brazil, there should be plenty of VW vans rolling along for decades if only because there are so many, and they are so durable. VW produced more than 10 million Volkswagen Transporter vans globally since the model was introduced 63 years ago in Germany, though not all resemble the classic hippie machine. More than 1.5 million have been produced in Brazil since 1957.
Georgia Cop Issues 800 Tickets to Drivers 'Texting' at Red Lights
Just so far this year.
Officer Myers said he sees most people typing away on their phones while waiting at red lights. 'Most people think they're safe there,' Myers said. However, he said it's still illegal. 'At a red light, you're still driving, according to the law. You're on a roadway, behind (the wheel of) a car, in charge of it, with a vehicle in drive,' Myers said. Myers also tickets drivers using navigation apps. One driver said she was just using her phone's GPS. The law forbids that and Myers issued her a ticket. "That's right. You can't use your navigation while driving. Unless it is a GPS-only device, such as Garmin or Tom Tom, something that is not used as a communication device,' Myers said."
This is a classic case of police going after people for an offense just because it's easy and lucrative rather than any real safety issue. And the law isn't even consistent - you can drive while holding up a paper map but if you hold your phone map up, you'll going to get ticketed for talking/texting while driving.
I've been remiss in covering this year's Oktoberfest and its dirndl denizens.
The AoSHQ group. Yeah.

I say that because they sure take the offense at the term. I only use it in the sense that their livelihood (as far as I know) revolves entirely around national politics. That does make them elite. It's not necessarily a pejorative, and they'd have to be abjectly dishonest to claim that they're just everyday citizens without any interest in political outcomes.
To Be Fair™ (wrings hands here) he's not the most vocal on the podcast but it's a solid hour of hobbit, vandal, wacko-bird bashing. I suppose it gets tiring being the targets of a lot of ankle-biting from the Right but, holy fuck, not their finest material.

3/4 of state legislatures have to vote for anything out of an Article V convention. So I don't get what your trying to say here. If your worried about progressives winning something out of a convention, they have to get it past thirty republican state legislatures. I have more faith in the republican state senators than the national party.

Some guy here apparently shot his 4 year old up with heroin this morning. The mother came home and found both the kid and his dad unconscious. Or course the police aren't ruling out yet the possibility that someone from outside the home came and shot them up with heroin, but I think they are just sort of saying that perfunctorily. What kind of dad shoots his kid up with heroin?
And what sort of hell hole is my neighborhood of half a million to 2 million dollar homes descending into where this sort of thing happens?

If you are in the "Let It Burn" camp, pushing for full implementation makes sense. I strongly disagree with that position for theological, philosophical, and tactical reasons and feel the best course of action is to force the collapse of ObamaCare.
"This 'individual mandate' is, by the AdministrationÂ’s own admission, the 'linchpin' of the Washington takeover of health care. If the mandate were to go away, the whole costly and intrusive scheme would unravel." (http://bit.ly/18hvHs0)
"The law’s champions have always considered the individual mandate to be the indispensable provision. It is what allows them to make the only boast they really care to make, which is that the law—in their estimation—will deliver on the long-sought goal of “universal coverage” (which now appears to mean covering all but 30 million people in our country). And it is what allows them to attempt to transform the purchase of government-sanctioned health insurance from just another consumer choice into a social obligation, if not a legal decree." If the five oldest GOP senators were forced to retire, I think you'd see a big attitude shift among Republicans in the Senate. The downside to respecting age and seniority is that you often end up with a tired, enervated, risk averse leadership that fear any change.

I'd go further -- any citizen can enter the District of Columbia no more than 5,000 days in a lifetime -- on the 5,001st, they're summarily executed (you can get a reading on your current count before you pass the gate). That'd make those career-swings into lobbying very interesting.

I'd go further -- any citizen can enter the District of Columbia no more than 5,000 days in a lifetime -- on the 5,001st, they're summarily executed (you can get a reading on your current count before you pass the gate). That'd make those career-swings into lobbying very interesting.

Wow. Thanks for that.
Structural process changes are harder for activist courts to finesse into something else. Hopefully specifically rejecting the affecting commerce rationale would work. That is the most abused provision. Lopez started to reign it in, 60 years late unfortunately.

I really like term limits for congresscritters and supreme court members. Allowing states to overturn federal laws and regulations along with supreme court opinions is sorely needed. No Obamacare with that provision.

The Repubs really should go after the 'obamacare's war on women' theme, most notably because it is. They always talk about the 'free' stuff for women in there but the premium increases for families, especially single mothers and young women are going to be brutal. Not to mention the coming death panel restrictions.

It has the real possibility of forcing Democrats to make concessions and bend Harry Reid's ear because of the mid-terms.
They are allowed to make amendments, with concessions and force a vote that actually makes members deliberate their choices instead of "cover asses" and let things pass.

This should've been a coordinated effort, not the Ted Cruz Show.
Posted by: Hollowpoint at September 25, 2013 12:35 AM (X9Mnx)
The media generated by this will have to explain what a senator was doing for thirteen hours (or more) overnight in the senate. He is saying to LIVs that republicans are against a law raising their premiums and kicking them off their plans. Even stupid people understand fee increases. All insurance companies are blaming this law for fee increases and dropping of coverage. That is what is happening to me. My insurance company is dropping me due to the law. People are going to see this and Cruz is out shouting from the rooftops against it.
Obama is for it.

Term limits are a must. DC changes the most stalwart conservative in time. Iowahawk did a great piece on that years ago, writing about one imaginary legislator becoming a PC pork hound by the end.
If followed that state veto would help reset the balance of state and federal power. States were never supposed to be departments of the federal government. There are no experiments in democracy with top down federal control.

John Boehner was elected into the leadership with the original contract with america and Gingrich. He started out great and foundered as he kept getting re-elected. He would have been term limited out by now if the amendment was in effect.

Put it to the states via conventions, and again the Proggies will probably win simply by labeling anyone who runs against them as H8ers or whatnot.
I have no faith that the plurality of voters in 3/4 of the states will actually adhere to the founding principles, especially if the Proggies throw anything and everything they have to win, because if they win that, they win everything.
Posted by: The Political Hat at September 25, 2013 12:43 AM (Vk2pI)
State conventions have only been used once to repeal Prohibition. It would most likely go to the state legislature. You need to have 38 state legislatures vote on the exact wording of each amendment proposed by the Article V convention. Sure you could have out and out communists there, but you still need to have 38 state legislatures voting for any amendment. Voters do not get to vote on these amendments your legislature does and it requires a majority not plurality (this is not Germany or any parliamentary system, majority rules).

Even though they weren't able to get their message out as strongly, its all Cruz's fault he didn't fall in line behind them, rather than them join with him. The ultimate result of not allowing a 51-vote "hiding and allowing procedure", is the availability of debate amongst Senators on the merits of the bill.
Afterwards, an amendments process can be debated. When Republicans introduce language that holds Congress to the same laws that apply to plebes, the defense becomes that of Democrats.
If Harry Reid's defense displeases unions and proles, alike? Those Democrats in Purple States must then defend their votes, as well as the debate-video, which then becomes "Political Ads".
The process in the Senate is confusing and somewhat arcane, but those who refuse to use it will certainly finish with a dick-in-the-ass.

I'm only LIB when it comes to the ACA. Aren't you? The "whole scheme unravels" only to the extent that it becomes financially unsustainable over the long term. So? Then they'll just start tinkering, restricting care, etc.
No. Both parties recognize that ObamaCare is not working and the fate of the law will be determined by the outcome of the next two elections. If the Democrats regain complete control of the legislative branch in 2014, they will push for single-payer. But if the Republicans retake control of the Senate in 2014, retain control of both bodies in 2016, and win the 2016 presidential election, they will attempt to fully repeal and completely defund ObamaCare, then try to pass a conservative replacement plan (The Empowering Patients First Act, The Patients' Choice Act, The American Health Reform Act, or a new plan).
If you shield Obama's base from the effects, they can and will continue to support the law. Absent massive public outrage, the law stays. Strategically AND morally, Obama's base needs to sleep in the bed they made.
The law will not immediately collapse, so they will, to a certain extent.

2. State legislature elects senators
Considering many state legislatures are even worse than the electorate, I doubt it'll do much good.
---I disagree. I puts the focus on the state and it is much easier to work against corruption. You need to bribe 50 state legislatures who are more in tune with the political process rather than working with idiot LIV every six years. Hardest one to pass though.
...
4. Amendments limiting the budget to 17.5% of GDP and if budgets are not passed a 5% cut to previous year's budget is enacted automatically. Debt limit and budget limit needs a three fifths vote to override
Not sure about the specifics, especially when they can just redefine "GDP" or even "%"Â…
---Agree with you here.
...
6. All federal depts need reauthorization every three years, cannot pass regulations creating economic burden of more than 100 million without affirmation by congress select committee and if committee doesn't vote the regulation is automatically not enacted.
How about prohibiting regulations by the executive?
---It is the job of the executive to enforce the laws created by congress. Congress reviews regulations and if the executive doesn't want to cooperate, don't reauthorize the dept.
7. Restrict Commerce Clause to limit to INTERSTATE commerce only (state to state conflicts) not to activities within states that can affect interstate commerce. Cannot compel individuals to engage in commerce.
In other words, restate what the Constitution already says more explicitly? Sad we have to resort to that.
---Yep.
8. Legislatures may directly amend constitution with 2/3 vote with a six year time limit and as long as it is identical in wording.
3/4 would be better.
---Agree.
9. Bills must be displayed for thirty days before final vote which may be overridden by 2/3 vote of the federal legislature.
You mean overridden by the state legislatures? Also should include provision for overriding by power of referendum.
---No. Federal. For situations like Obamacare having only a day or two for review. Federal legislature (house/senate) can override it for declaration of war, emergencies that supermajorities support. I don't support referendums on the federal or even state level. I think people are too easily demagogued into supporting emotional positions. Gun control would have passed in a national referendum earlier this year.
...
11. Voter ID required for national elections, early voting no more than thirty days before elections.
We don't have national elections. It ought to be the prerogative of the states to take care of their own elections.
---What?? We have national elections for President, House, and Senate candidates. The state government should take care of state elections and the federal government should take care of federal elections.

True, Obama is not running for office ever again. Which means he can and is taking any position he wants. Right now he is the figurehead of the democrat party. He is very vocally in favor of his Obamacare, which is destroying the medical field, forcing people to buy health insurance, dropping people from their existing plans, and raising premiums.
Running against Obama channels the anger of the people against a single target and a good politician can tie fellow party members to him. So I say blast away Cruz and Lee.

Posted by: RWC at September 25, 2013 01:25 AM (Y+K4q)
The plan is -- and I've said this EVERY FUCKING YEAR since there was a real budget -- pass 30, 40, 50, 60, whatever, little continuing resolutions in the House. Fund Defense; fund Foodstamps; fund FBI, fund whatever, and throw them over the wall to the Senate. When the Senate tries to tie the entire Leviathan to one and throw it back.....tell 'em that's already covered in the others.
And in amongst the CRs for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and USPS, the House just conveniently "forgets" Obamacare, the White House entertainment budget, the entire Department of Education, all the green parts of the Department of Energy, the entire Department of Labor, etc. After all, there were 50 of them, and "math is hard."
When the Dems come back and shriek "you're defunding Defense!!!!" The House goes, "no, we didn't -- that was bill #3, "fund Defense".....didn't you read the fucking thing?" And the Senate will come back with "but it wasn't attached to Obamacare and everything else in bill #1!" Whereupon we can all point and laugh.
This truly isn't rocket surgery, the GOP leadership has been complicit about this mess for years now.

What?? We have national elections for President, House, and Senate candidates. The state government should take care of state elections and the federal government should take care of federal elections.
Wrong. The states run the elections, not the Federal government. This applies for all Federal offices: House, Senate, and member of the Electoral College.
Posted by: The Political Hat at September 25, 2013 01:26 AM (Vk2pI)
The purpose of the amendment was to stop overnight and instavotes for bills without anybody reading them. Two thirds of the house and senate (federal) could overrule that 30 day display period.
I know that the states run the elections, I want the federal govt to standardize the federal elections every two years. I am tired of states like Washington (my state) forcing all mail voting without voter id required and very little in the way of checks for voter fraud. Or states allowing huge amounts of time for early voting (fraud machines).

Jumped upon the open cars flat or freight with barely open doors,
so fearful they be...knowing we were coming....they left the fires with their stew pots bubbling full of the evening meal by the riverbed...barely gathered the bags"O" Hobo effects and ran for their very lives this night and departed as one north on the first long Freight coming outa Colton...some were sliced up by the wheels when the jump failed and they will be forgotten in the San Berdu morgue forever til they be buried in a county pauper's grave in 5 years passing when no one claims em.........
Being a Hobo sucks.........

If you feel that way, why/how does this entire debate over stopping ObamaCare even matter?
Posted by: Miss80sBaby at September 24, 2013 09:45 PM (YjDyJ)

This is a large part of the bureaucracy's attempt to put themselves beyond the reach of government -- but, while true on it's face, it's false in the greater scheme of things. Take, for instance, the 40,000 IRS agents that are supposed to be hired in order to enforce the Obamacare taxes that fund Obamacare....if you cut those, how's that brick going to fly?

In the way I think you mean it, yes. But State Legislatures and Governors are foundations. Senators are part of those foundations, as checks and balances.
Where you're going wrong is in the duality of the office, whereas with State Legislatures appointing Senators truly represents The States.
...checks and balances.
States' legislative elections becoming a prominent point of discussion and debate allow states like Ohio to drop Socialist pigs like Sherrod Brown.
He has never worked in the interest of a coal-producing State. While the inverse is also true of New York and California, the legislative process and Interest of The States would be truly represented.
State Law would have more power and the checks-and-balances would remain the way our founders envisioned.

No, VA is about to be governed by Terry McAuliffe because the state Republicans decided they didn't trust the voters in a primary and instead used a convention to rig the outcome in favor of a guy, Ken Cuccinelli, who was pretty much the only Virginia Republican capable of losing to someone as terrible as McAuliffe. You can't even say that Bob McDonnell is dragging him down at this point -- McDonnell's back above 50% approval rating in the state. It's Cuccinelli just being a rotten fit for the state, and Republicans being unwilling to accept that things have changed.

Nah, you don't have to worry about that. The Republicans in Virginia thankfully have a chokehold on the House of Delegates and currently hold a majority (a tie broken by the Lt. Gov.) in the Senate. Even assuming they lose control of the Senate they'll still hold the House for the foreseeable future thanks to a brutally effective redistricting a couple years back. No gun regs are going to pass in Virginia.

He has self-branded as a hardcore social conservative -- with those issues being his primary defining quality rather than any economic credentials -- in a state where Republicans who run as hardcore social conservatives will never get elected statewide again. Ironically enough, Bob McDonnell came out of a background that was easily as socially conservative as Cooch (he went to Liberty U, for cryin' out loud), but you never would've known it from the way he ran his campaign: it was strictly "Bob's For Jobs" and absolutely none of the socon hot button stuff whatsoever.
Meanwhile Ken Cuccinelli is known by most VA voters for being "the guy who pushed trans-vaginal ultrasounds." Regardless of your personal feelings about that policy, it is/was only slightly more popular than cholera with the voters in the state, even among many anti-abortion voters.
He's so much more competent as a potential chief executive than Terry McAuliffe that it's almost a bad joke, but he cannot escape from the reputation he carefully cultivated for himself over the past four years. It's just a terrible fit for a state whose center of gravity has shifted radically towards Northern Virginia in the past ten years. VA will elect conservative Republicans so long as they brand themselves as business-minded, economics-first types. They're not going to elect a guy whose primary identity in the minds of voters is as a right-wing culture warrior, not anymore.

So, the lottery operator and the winner go off to the stables and find the donkey is dead.....and the winner starts complaining.
"OK, you wagered a dollar -- here's your dollar back, so you wagered nothing. Go home." was the initial offer. "I entered a lottery for a donkey, and I want a donkey's worth of value 'cause I won," was the response.
"Fine, here's $20 -- go buy your own donkey" says the promoter -- and the "winner" goes off happy.
The story illustrates how people instinctively misvalue probability -- and how a mathematical evaluation of same lays this out in black-and-white.

You make a persuasive argument. Especially because advocates for the States are most often, necessarily Governors. I'll peruse that thought, and I appreciate your non Weft Cut-Loop responses. (And I love WCL because he's WCL. You certainly get your point across, sir! You surly, lovely BASTARD!)
I'd like to ask, however, how many Governors -who have gone on to be President, have advocated for States' Rights? Reagan was the last, but the top-down attitude has changed significantly since then.
Even Reagan let slip States' Rights as a bargaining chip for defense. "W" took it "all-the-way" with "No-Child", but it slips and slips and slips.
I'm too tired right now. I can't provide examples, so I'm effectively "just asking questions" as "combat ineffective".
I'll read the responses tomorrow, but I thank the horde for providing grist for the mill, food for thought and tit for tat.
Blah, blah. East coast.

Remember the Generation before us, who gave, sacrificed, suffered, and died in numbers not matched by Korea, Vietnam or even our current conflicts.
Not to disrespect what we have given in our country's Gold presently, I only wish we focus on how we grew by leaps and bounds post WWII by the sacrifices from that generation that went to war to end the Tyranny of a single man who wanted to rule the world. Our men who came home from that World War started families, jump started industries, pushed America into the forefront of progress and innovation.
And now we have Obama......

"The new law attempts to bypass the normal appropriations process, another feature that makes defunding more difficult. By making advance appropriations for tens of billions of dollars up to the year 2019, these provisions of Obamacare seek to remove spending decisions from the reach of the current Congress and from future Congresses and Presidents. Although Obamacare was not pitched to the public as a mandatory spending entitlement, the details of the legislation reveal an intent to block any future Congress from controlling ObamacareÂ’s spending.
One largely unknown fact is that $6-billion or more was immediately appropriated in the new law and approximately $105-billion more was appropriated for FY2011 and beyond. That violates the typical Congressional process of appropriations."

I can only speak for Honolulu where I was a cop, but I would be surprised if there weren't similar statutes all over the country. Anyway, before there texting laws, there was (and still is) a law on the books called "Inattention to Driving." If I saw someone driving a car while reading a map, doing their makeup, popping their zits, playing a violin (yup, saw that on a German police video once), etc., those drivers would be ticketed just as much as someone texting and driving.
I am totally on board with all these laws. It is just too dangerous to be driving a 3000 lb machine without looking. Sheesh!

While there are probably a small number of congressional Republicans who secretly support ObamaCare, a majority fall into two camps- (1) delay and (2) defund. (Of the second group, some support it as the opening bid but would settle for delay.) So at the end of the day, at least 98% of congressional Republicans agree that ObamaCare is an abomination that must ultimately be fully repealed and completely defunded but disagree regarding dismantling tactics.
Or we can just watch John Boehner roll onto his back and piss himself some more.
Has Boehner helped feed the perception that he is weak? Absolutely, but do not underestimate how divisions over tactics and extractions within the House R Conference have weakened his hand. Same goes for the tension between the House and Senate Republicans (which existed prior to the last election).

Has Boehner helped feed the perception that he is weak? Absolutely, but do not underestimate how divisions over tactics and extractions within the House R Conference have weakened his hand. Same goes for the tension between the House and Senate Republicans (which existed prior to the last election).
That gutless fucking weasel has weakened his own hand. You can claim that the divisions have helped to cause it. But those divisions came from his worthless efforts. That he's demonstrated that he was a worthless pussy after the election, to where he decided he is not a representative but instead a facillitator. You talk about "the primary tactical question is which option provides more motivation for the voters" well I can tell you this John Boehner provides no motivation at all for the voters. To keep trying to stick up for this worthless drunk joke is sad.

Boehner is a serviceable Speaker whose biggest problem (in my opinion) is that he refuses to put his foot down when necessary. As aforementioned, while it sometimes appears that the House Rs are divided over principles, they are more often than not often split over tactics (e.g., defund and/or delay) and extractions (e.g., one member wants ten specific items while another desires four). Boehner does a pretty good job of listening to the rank-and-file but he is far too accommodating, which only encourages infighting and confusion.
With regards to your last, that particular comment referred specifically to tactics. If you want to shift the conversation to Boehner, I feel that a certain amount of the criticism is definitely deserved but there have also been times when he has been falsely accused of wrongdoing by a few conservative media outlets. That said, he needs to do a better job of explaining policy positions and communicating his intentions. If people understand what you are doing and why you are doing it, they will be less likely to question you.

When push comes to shove Islam will roll over the Left. I'll take fanatical zealots who wake up at the crack of dawn to pray over LGBT potheads every time. But more seriously, look at Europe now or Iran in 1979. Islam does not give an inch, but it takes a mile.

So long as they recognize Islam as another name for totalitarianism, they'll be cool with it. They don't even care if they say "Allahu akbar" or "will of the people, yo", so long as they can say and others do.
